Hotel is brand new (well 2 years old, but seems new). Very clean and modern (e.g. room door locks operate by proximity key instead of magnetic swipe). Free wifi, but it does not seem to work with Chrome -- must use IE or FireFox.

I was there to visit the military base there and the hotel is not too far from the base. Hotel service was great, cleanliness was alright. I had business in the area and took my mother and children with me. The hotel manager was very accommodating in allowing my family to stay in the room until Noon. Indoor pool was small, but nice for the kids as this is one of the few hotels in the area with an indoor pool. Excellent breakfast and comfortable beds. Would recommend.

Great place. Everyone was very nice, hotel is clean, rooms comfortable. Lana, lady that works breakfast was amazing. She kept breakfast room spotless and fully stocked all the time. Ladies at the front desk were welcoming and knowledgable of area restaurants and local attractions. We will be back for sure.

One disappointment was upon arrival at 8pm, the heater did not work and it was in the 30's outside. I called the front desk who sent maintenance the following morning. They did fix it, but in the meantime I had to re-pack all the things I hung in closet, placed in drawers and refrigerator, plus re-pack all bathroom items including what was in shower […] stall. Then un-pack it again in another room down the hall. A bit of an inconvenience. But things happen like this - they felt really bad and they did upgrade me to a bigger room. Everything else was wonderful. Breakfast was hot and ready even before they said they would be open and replenished often. Clean and neat. 2nd room was nice, clean, large and everything worked. This was my second stay at this hotel in one month and I would stay again and recommend others to stay here too. Read more

Very enjoyable stay. Hotel was clean (albeit new) and very comfortable. All the staff was pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable, new t.v.'s and plenty of outlets. I spent double what I would have spent at the other chains, but it was worth it (on this job at least), just not to come back the that "motel room smell" at the end of the work day.

I liked everything about the hotel except one thing that I think women would want in the shower. In the nice large shower there wasn't a small seat or step for me to raise my leg slightly for shaving.

This was the best hotel i have ever stayed in... Me and my oldest daughter (14 yrs old) absolutly hate staying in hotels but this is the one that broke us of the hotel fears... We are planning other summer trips and will not stay overnight if there isn't a Holiday Inn Express and Suites... We are hooked!!

Despite Expedia not correcting the hotel's address, it was right along the main highway and easy to find. This hotel appeared new, and it was in excellent condition. It was the nicest H.I.Express I have stayed in, and have been to a few, which were all excellent. I stayed one night to meet up with my son stationed at Cherry Point. The hotel appears on the newer side. The room was your typical room. They got it right in the bathroom with a walk in shower and not the typical tub. Who takes a bath at a hotel these days? The breakfast layout was very good with plenty of choices from cold cereal to cheese omelets […] bacon hot buns biscuits and gravy pancakes ect. I stayed at this hotel for an event in New Bern because the hotels there were full. It is about 15 miles away, but an easy drive and less expensive. I was pleasantly surprised with the room and the staff was very friendly and professional.

Had a little trouble finding it on Google Maps / GPS. Hotel staff was mostly pleasant. Hotel is brand new so the room was very clean, nice, updated. Had a nice TV, comfortable bed & sheets. Shower leaked a little. Was a little humid when we first got there but cranking the A/C took care of that. Walls are a little thin. Last minute Memorial Day beach trip. Reservations made late so not a lot of affordable choices left in the area. Found the hotel on Expedia with decent rates. I was skeptical about staying in a military town during a holiday weekend. We arrived late to find a commercial bus unloading and the reception desk overwhelmed with check-ins. The hotel manager […] was on site and had us checked in almost immediately. Surprise!! The room was spacious, clean, and appeared "new". Hotel staff was friendly and very helpful. It definitely made our trip extra special to spend our nights in a clean, quiet hotel after long days at the beach.
