Close to convention center and lots of good bars and restaurants. Great rooms with modern conveniences, fresh decor. Health club is serviceable and breakfast is good. Didn't make up my room, but I think I left the wrong thing on the door and didn't call the front desk.

Our room was very clean and comfortable with plush bedding and a large shower. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We were overall happy with the stay and the price. The only downfalls were the cleaning staff being rather loud early in the morning in the hallways (chatting with one another) and the backup during breakfast. The room was amazing, and the staff was even better. There was some road maintenance going on outside the front door, but this did not slow down the flow of getting in and out of the hotel. My wife and I have visited Charlotte many times, and this is by far the best place we have stayed, yet.

Nice - new hotel for the money. I was very pleased with the facility - very clean and new. Probably not my decor choice as it was very modern - but nice and new nonetheless. Would stay there again.

Great staff and a very nice facility. Their Wi-Fi works like a charm, and unlike many, high speed actually means high speed. The breakfast was excellent--no need to go out. Parking is valet, so it's an extra expense, but worth it.

There was no reason to use a taxi outside of getting to and from the airport. You have everything within walking distance.

there was some street construction going on, but that happens. it was not a problem. I would have given this hotel all "5", but there was some work going on outside at night. Hard to sleep. Maybe they need thicker windows.

We lost our tv connection @ 600pm on Sunday during the ncca championship and missed the bible it was terrible no one could tell us what was going on until the next day, the management was terrible

I loved my first time in Charlotte! Being at the Hyatt House Center City was an added bonus. Everyone was friendly, helpful and seemed glad that I was there! I don't think I have ever slept on a more comfortable bed. This was a bonus as I had a rotator cuff injury! The hot comlimentary breakfast was fabulous and the staff even came up with a curling […] iron when mine disintegrated. I was in a suite and it was incredible! There was a full-sized refridgerator, a stove-top, dishes and a dishwaher! All the cutlery, glasses, pans and dishes that one would need were there. The suite was very clean. There was construction out front but access was not compromised. I loved my stay! One thing: take a taxi from the airport. It is cheaper than Cartier Classics, plus it took the front desk calling Cartier for me to get a receipt two days after I had used the service. Read more

It is also only steps away from the major uptown dining/entertainment hub, and also directly across the street from the light rail/bus terminal for ease of getting around town. Excellent value. Boutique feel, lobby shop, nice staff, great room. Just wish bar was open until midnight. We had been to a show and it had just closed when we returned at 11. Otherwise, excellent!

Very nice facility and the staff was wonderful, really wonderful. Front desk, housekeeping, dining room and bar were all very cordial and helpful. There was quite a bit of road construction, not the Hyatt's fault, which made getting in and out slightly more difficult. For attending TWC Center it is the ideal location.

Being next to Time Warner Cable Arena puts this hotel within easy reach of everything uptown; it's also really close to the Lynx light rail station. The hotel is clean, the staff is nice, and while some might find the mandatory valet parking (and the extra charge) to be a pain it's convenient nonetheless.

I had never been to Charlotte before this trip, and it was safe to say that I was less than excited about my three night stay in the weeks leading up to it. However, when I got to center city and this hotel, I was blown away. The hotel is conveniently located within 3 blocks of anything you'd ever want to do in the city. I was able to walk to three […] museums, a movie theater, and a few pubs with little effort or time. All this was amazing, but the hotel was so incredible that I found it difficult to even leave to check out the city. Guest services seems genuinely happy to have you there, the included breakfast is delicious, and the rooms are super modern and clean....not to mention the ridiculously incredible view you get from just about any room. Enjoyed the hotel very much! Nice layout felt like a boutique hotel. They were not quite prepared for so many for breakfast which was included but it wasn't a real problem for us. Great location for a Verizon center concert.

Our room had a little odor when we checked in, we called th front desk and they immediately switched us into another room and they carried all our luggage. Next room was fine. Staff --top of the line. Breakfast--grade A. Valet--fast and courteous.

My BF & I tried one last year in Florida before a cruise & even tho we had booked a much pricier hotel for after the cruise, we agreed our Hyatt House stay had been MUCH nicer. This one in downtown Charlotte was eqqually impressive, & not to mention was also the ONLY hotel in the area that not only offered […] a complimentary breakfast buffet, but a GOOD buffet @ that! We will always look for this chain first whenever we travel now, considering how picky my hun tends to be about rooms & hates "gambling" w/ somewhere new. Cannot ask for a better location in downtown. Hotel is connected to the arena where we went to watch the Bobcats play.
