Hotel was a great. Mu8ch better than expected. WOuld definately stay again. Perfect for a several day stay.
"Nice Hotel but many issues encountered"
The overall hotel was very nice and at a great price. The room attendants were SUPER nice and friendly...but that's where the positive ends. I booked my hotel for 2 nights but decided to stay a extra night the day prior. The check in desk confirmed I was all set up for the same room for 3 nights. I had to go back each day and have my card re-programmed […] just to get in the room. This after 3 long days of being out and about taking in the city...frustrating! Sooo I decided I needed some relaxation and the huge hot tub was calling my name...but come to find out it was on the fritz and only got up to mid 70's temperature wise. Really...ugh?! So I put in a good workout only to find out there were NO towels in the weightroom...nice weightroom, but NO towels...geez. I wanted to finally get some good rest but come to find out the walls of the hotel were paper thin...had a noisy room 2 nights in a row and took awhile for the hotel to address or so it seemed. To note, I could hear when the front desk called the room...that's how thin the walls were at the hotel. As nice as the hotel was you would think the rooms would be sound proof. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! Ohhh, the first afternoon we ate at TIWA...nice atmosphere but the service was SUPER slow and I don't like when people make the excuse by saying, "I'm New". "Great place to stay and play"
We were just looking for a place to stay overnight during our trip. We were pleasantly suprised. This hotel / casino is grander than any other we have stayed at outside Vegas. "Great except for evacuation and traffic"
We had to evacuate hotel at 3 am for emergency evacuation. It was scary and ruined our peaceful night sleep. I am glad it was not major emergency but a great inconvenience. Thank goodness we were near stair exit but difficult descending 5 flights for those in poor health. It's a nice clean hotel. The front desk employees were not very friendly. Can't say both of them it was this older white lady that came across very snobby and answered your questions in a rude way. "Go for the Show, Don't Stay for the Food"
The staff for the most part were extremly friendly and willing to go out of their way for you. The tub was amazing. The room only had the basic cleaning done. We spent 2 nights at this hotel. The hotel is neither small nor big, just the right size. The hotel lobby is very nice, and the hotel surroundings, landscaping, and such are very nice. "Would not stay here again."
Overpriced. The staff seemed to care little about the customer. Nothing was open when we returned at 11pm from a concert. Not very hard rock at all. I liked the hotel but it is not a typical hard rock hotel in the Vegas sense. I felt like it could have been a bit more rock n roll than just the stuff on the walls. I would have really liked great music pumping through out the casino at night given that the booze stopped flowing as of 12pm on Sunday night and I had just come in from a concert. The location was nice. Close to the freeway, you could be anywhere in ABQ in 15 minutes. The hotel was nice. Great decor and beautiful spa! The hotel and the staff were very helpful, except for one person. Anita at the front desk did not have the best personality. It seemed that everything was very difficult for her to do. Even though we had reservations and our room was prepaid months in advance, she said she could not guarantee a room because they were "Sold Out"?? We eventually got a […] room but, we dealt with another front desk clerk. The other issue is the lack of alcohol consumption in the casino. This is the first time that I enter a casino and CANNOT consume alcohol on the casino floor. You have to remain within the confines of the bar to have alcohol and cannot leave until you are finish. Beautiful resort! Hotel rooms are some of the best I have ever seen, and the grounds and resort itself are so meticulously kept and such a beautiful place! Rooms are big, very modern, and extremely clean! A little out of the way from the Albuquerque city, so not close to anything else. Would like to see some more shopping amenities on property as it […] is a ways off the beaten path. If you had car, no biggie, but if just from airport to hotel, you feel kind of stuck there.
