Right next to the Keisei line in Narita City, the first stop out of Narita Airport. Lots of small restaurants and a very nice temple within easy walking. Rooms a bit better than your usual business hotel.

Pass through Narita quite frequently and usually stay at the Richmond Hotel, which is just across the street from the APA hotel. Decided to try here as it was very cheap for a single room. The hotel is large and fairly imposing from the outside and in the lobby. Then you get to your room, and it is quite a shock to see just how small it is. I have stayed […] in several hotels in Japan over the years, and this was the most claustrophobic room I can remember. If you were more than an average size person, you would find it difficult to use this room and bathroom. If you had anything more than a rollerboard suitcase, it would be hard to use this room. If you are a single traveller and must use this hotel, it would be worth paying for a twin room. The hotel backs onto the Narita Keisei Line train station and you do get noise from the trains and announcements. To me, the Richmond Hotel, right across the street, is far superior, cleaner, quieter, less claustrophobic, and far more relaxing in every way. Read more

Needed a room to crash in for and extend layover at NRT. Room was nice but small, Staff at hotel was super helpful and friendly. We got a smoking room and it smelled like smoke. On site sauna was very nice, but it is traditional Japanese. Free shuttle to airport is great but beware it does not run very often so plan accordingly. I would say if you just stay overnight in this hotel, I would recommend that. The room was surprisingly so small. When we checked in, the hotel staff didn't recognize our reservation through hotels.com and it took a while for them to figure out our reservation. It was an awkward moment. I stayed at this hotel because they said they have an airport shuttle. So I fly into Tokyo and try to catch their shuttle about 11:00pm. Well, the shuttle is done for the day. It turns out the last one was before 10:00pm. I had to take a taxi for over 3,200 yen. Then I needed to go back to the airport early the next morning. Well, it wouldn't start […] running until 6:40am and the train started operating at 6:10. Another taxi again for over 3,200 yen. I wound up paying more for taxis then I did for the room. I was surprised by how far the hotel was from the airport. I think it was about a 20-minute drive. The shuttle schedule shows it as a 35-minute drive to Terminal 1 and a 45-minute drive to Terminal 2. The room was very small. I was next to the elevators so I heard whirring noises. I had to transit for one night and wanted an inexpensive hotel. The only positives about this hotel are its location and price. I've stayed at the Richmond on other trips and prefer that hotel to the Apa. The rooms are just too small to be comfortable, even for one night.

A very clean, modern, business-style hotel, conveniently located just outside the East exit of Keisei Narita Station. Business Style means the room has a bed, a desk and just enought room between the two to pace back and forth from the window to the door IF you watch your elbows. Just what I needed and wanted.

As with most business hotels, the APA Narita has extremely small rooms (imagine a size so small you have to open your suitcase in the hallway!) and no-frills service. The main selling points for this one is the free shuttle to/from Narita Airport, the […] communal baths for soaking after a long flight, and the proximity to Narita City itself. APA Narita located next to one of the two train stations serving Narita City (and also connecting to the airport in 15 minutes)---travelers who do NOT take the free shuttle bus should note that the APA is located at the bottom of about 4 steep flights of stairs that are not served by escalators or elevators, making luggage hauling or those with disabilities have a tough haul. This is a reasonably priced, very clean hotel near to the Narita airport and right next to the Narita Keisei train station. There is also a public sauna and spa on the 2nd floor. The restaurant in the hotel is also very nice. So, the small rooms are just places to sleep or read (in fact, there are books in the room for people who wish to practice Japanese). […] There are also slippers and a Japanese robe to use. If you really want to step outside, the hotel is closely located to a few nice restaurants and convenience stores. It is an ideal place to stop for a night if one has a morning flight, but not too early if one wants to take the free hotel shuttle or the train. Cheap hotel conveniently located to the airport (via free shuttle bus or quick train ride), in an interesting part of Narita. The hotel rooms are SMALL, but more functional than some of the other micro hotel rooms in Tokyo. Over all a good place to stay for a night during a long layover or before flying out. Although walking distance from beautiful Naritasan, I disliked the hotel whose rooms are cramped and tiny, bathroom even more cramped and plastic, and spa unattractive. Rooms have no wifi and staff speaks only Japnese. Signage is also not translated.

Very convenient to airport and the trainstation. Rooms are extremely small but adequate for an overnight stay or someone on a budget. Very clean and all amenities are supplied. I would recommend for more than one night to stay in the room with 2 beds if two people are sharing.

I have stayed at a few other Narita hotels and this one was the least convenient. The shuttle didn't pick-up as often as the other hotels, it was a longer bus ride, and the drop off/pick-up was a bit of a walk from the hotel to bus stop. Having quite a bit of luggage and a long flight, I would have paid a bit more for those conveniences.

Someone had posted that it was a 10 minute walk to the hotel from the Keisei Rail line. Perhaps if you walk really slowly, but the hotel is right next to the station, looking down on the tracks. The hotel is very close to the Keisei Narita station. I took the Keisei line to arrive the hotel. It cost 250 Yen. But the hotel also has free shuttle bus. I chose this hotel mainly for its Japanese style communion bath. The room is a little bit small tho.

Hotel was very conveniently located next to rail station and close to airport. Free airport shuttle was a plus. Expensive breakfast buffet was a minus. Room was stylishly appointed, though Tokyo-tiny; I couldn't keep my suitcase open on the floor without blocking the door. Picked this hotel over Toyoko Inn (which we used for the rest of our trip) because of its location in central Narita rather than at the airport. There was a slight delay at check-in because the hotel had our reservation under my middle name, but a search for Expedia reservations eventually uncovered it. Twin beds and bathroom facilities are similar […] to Toyoko, but the bedding didn't have a top sheet in addition to the comforter, so you were either uncovered or too warm. My mom liked the communal bath on the second floor, but we missed the free breakfast and free access to internet in the lobby that Toyoko Inns have. As close to the JR station as you can get, go to the lower level and turn left. Smallish Japanese room but clean and smoke free. Nice public bath/spa a bonus after a long day. Narita is a lot nicer than I expected to be, pleasant and not so crowded.

It was right next to the Keisei Line Narita station so it was convenient for us, especially with our luggage. The hotel shuttle bus timetable wasn't at a convenient time for us so we took the train costing us only about 200yen so it was fine. There is a convenient store next to the hotel. 귀국 전날이나 출국 후 첫날 숙소로 잡으면 좋을듯요~게이세이나리타역 바로 지하밑으로 가면 apa호텔 보이구요 바로옆 편의점이 있어서 괜찮았습니다. 와이파이 완전 잘터지고 빠릅니다. 제가 흡연싱글방으로했는데..들어갔을때부터 담배냄새가 나서 조금 불쾌했구요. 방음시설이 좀 잘안되는거같아서 다른고객들이 지나다닐때마다 소리가 들려서 불편한거 말고는 다 친절했던거 같습니다. 나름대로 괜찮음
