When we first arrived the guy at the counter couldn,t find our details as hotel.com is sub contracted through expedia.com. The details he had were incorrect so that was not a good start at all.The motel room was your basic motel with none of the comforts we had experienced with similar costing accommodation.The foyer carpets had huge water marks & stains.Kitchen […] floors & the lounge drapes were dirty,but at least we had clean linen.As I have bad knees requiring a double knee replacement it didn't help that one lift was broken & the other was playing up.Overall would we go back again NO WAY. If there is to be a coffee and tea making facility, it would be nice if we had a couple of bowls at least to eat our muesli in the morning. The wind howls around all night because of the location of the hotel - right on the beach - and the fact that the doors to the balcony do not shut properly. I was a late arrival having to organise the key to be left in a safe, it had been placed within a groups bookings so I had trouble finding it, then tired from a long day of driving I was on the 14th floor and the elevators were out of operation so I had to carry my bags up 14 flights of stairs. The stair way carpet was very old grubby & stained. My […] room had 2 uncomfortable cane chairs in it, which I had to use bed pillows for extra padding and the bathroom and kitchen cupboards were looking shabby with chipped pieces and marks on them of years of wear and tare, also very old looking. The carpet in the room was ok and had been vaccumed clean on my arrival as was clean linen and towels which I appreciate. Great location however very outdated facilities. Freezer did not work,no screens on sliding doors,TV remote did'nt work as batteries corrosed in it,bed and lounge not comfy,minimal parking. Ok for a night, would not want to stay for a week.

If you like hotel with a stove from the 1920s, curtains with weird stains and holes in them, air conditioners that sound like small planes are flying just outside your window, holes in your blankets, sand and foreign hair in your bed, and a distinct funky smell then this certainly is the place for you.

Hotel requires an update, however you pay for what you get. They were able to provide me with all that I required. Beach side rooms are a negative on windy days as the wind noise is far to uncomfortable. Outdoor balcony doors do not seal and this adds to the noise level.

Standard budget accom. Hotel tends to offer fairly good rates, it's clean enough, quiet, rather old property though. EXCELLENT location, views and price was on the nose. Basic service. The hotel is beachfront, I would have expected facilities in room to hang out wet towels and togs. The beds were uncomfortable, overdue for replacement. The chairs at the dining table and the couch were very very uncomfortable, to watch tv in the evening I sat on the balcony chair, not the most comfortable but better than what was in the room. Smelly stuffy just yuk! It was advertised as having air con and when we got there it wasn't working. It was louder then a car and no cold air. I told the lady at reception and the reply was "oh jesus" and that was it., There was no sorry, no trying to fix anything, no nothing. Worst hotel and service ever. WILL NOT BE RESTAYING OR REFERRING ANYONE.

This hotel is desperately in need of refurbishment. Things don't work or aren't open e.g. pool area coffee shop, A.T.M. You would be better off paying $10 - $20 more a night and getting a much classier resort!

Beach front location is a big plus. Hotel needs to be renovated. Our room face west, very hot in the afternoons. There was no breakfast bar.

Staff were fine but the hotel was in desperate need of either refurbishment or demolition. To be greeted with a poorly maintained facade - rust was evident everywhere outside - was not very inviting. The room smelt very musty as we entered but was generally clean. The decor was very shabby (carpet worn to underlay near the windows) and totally dated. […] There was rusty balustrading on the balcony and the underground car park was decidedly scary! The only redeeming factors were its position and the view from the 11th floor to the ocean was beautiful. The location of this hotel is good. It takes 15mins ish to get to a dinning place or shopping centre. It is also very easy to the bus stop where you can go to the "Movie World, Wet and Wild and Sea World" It has a nice view of the beach but i think it depends on your room. because there are some that will face the land instead of the beach. However […] I think the staffs can pay passion in their work. Also if you want anything in this hotel, you will need to pay a deposit. Fomos para o hotel à 13h e tinhamos um evento para comparecer à noite. Acontece que o nosso quarto estava ocupado e só conseguimos fazer o check in às 17h. Depois de muito stress, perdemos o evento e tivemos que deixar o hotel por solicitação da recepção às 11h do dia seguinte. Ou seja, nosso fim de semana que poderia ter sido ótimo, foi estressante. […] Uma pena e deixa o serviço hoteis,com com a credibilidade abalada.
