The Bockenheim neighborhood is cool and trendy with loads of shops and highly rated restaurants. The hotel is a 5 minute walk from the nearest tram or subway station ... a very quiet and peaceful location. The facilities are old, but well-maintained. My room had modern bath fixtures, a safe, and working a/c heating, windows, blinds. The staff was attentive, upbeat, and helpful. I'm going to stay at Hotel Imperial Novum Frankfurt Messe am Palmengartenagain in the future.

This hotel is in a lovely little town, good selection of places to eat, along with some festivals happening in the town center. It is a few mins walking distance from the railway station. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is one that i would use again.

I stayed here recently (Nov 2011) and was generally far better pleased than I thought I would be. Usually, one thinks of hotels near train stations as rather seedy, and noisy. This one was neither! The neighborhood was great and because the rail-line actually terminates at Bad Soden and a decent distance from the hotel with buildings in between, there […] is NO noise from trains. But you have the convenience of being very close to the station for travelling on. My room (a double) was impeccable, the breakfast ample, and the front-desk service superb and very, very helpful. The only minus at all (otherwise and A+ rating) was that near the end of my one-week stay there, the plumbing was sluggish and they could not find a solution, as much as they tried. Perhaps by the time you read this review, it will have all been taken care of. Otherwise, highly recommended. Read more

Das Zimmer war klein aber ordentlich nur leider etwas abgewohnt, das Bad war ok. Also eine Generalüberholung wär schon mal nett. Great location for Bad Soden and convenient for Frankfurt. It's 2 min. to the train from the hotel and about 15 min. to the central train station in Frankfurt.
