This is a lovely, well maintained and clean guest house, in a very scenic area. The staff are very friendly and the included breakfast was excellent, however we were disappointed that there was no wifi in the rooms, only in the restaurant. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very good, but of course being Switzerland, also very expensive. We loved this hotel so much we stayed an extra night. The view of the mountains was beautiful, our room in the chalet was comfortable. No internet or television in the chalet, as the owners wish to retain the unspoiled country atmosphere. We dined in the restaurant both evenings. The food was good and the service excellent. The hotel was very friendly and the food was mostly real and very tasty. I guess Switzerland must be expensive - our two rooms (in August) were more expensive than we paid in the Austrian Tyrol or in France and were really tiny - too small for a three day stay. So my star rating is lower than it would have been.

The location is stunning and the hotel compliments this experience. It is all that you expect Switzerland to be. clouds floating by at eye level, the Swiis houses and quaint hamlet, very large mountains...and the food was excellent in the restaurant as well. We experienced some difficulty finding the hotel, but it was well worth the effort. The staff were welcoming and extremely helpful and the surrounding area is just beautiful. We stayed in the annex chalet and our room was rather small, but the amazing view of the mountains from our window more than made up for any inconvenience.

staff were helpful, English speaking. The hotel was remote in a quiet rural mountain area. The bus service is every 2 hours to the train station, it was 15minutes from the station to the hotel by bus.

우리가 이 호텔을 예약했을때는 우리가 묵을 방이 본 호텔과 이렇게 멀리 떨어져 있는 줄 알지 못했다. 우리가 예약한 방은 샬레였는데 가격은 다른 곳보다 많이 비싼편이어서 굉장히 기대하고 갔었는데 막상 도착하고 나서 보니 본 호텔에서 7-8분 정도 떨어져 있는데다 방은 캠핑장의 방갈로 보다 아주 조금 나은 수준이었고, 게다가 우리가 머무는 곳에는 그 누구도 시설관리해 주는 사람이나 도움을 주는 사람이 없었다.체크인 할때 알려준 와이파이 비번이 되질 않아서 다시 10분정도 걸어 본 호텔에 물어보러 가야했고 또한 다른 어려움이 있어 물어보고자 했으나 아무도 없어서 너무나 불편했다. 침대도 가로로 하나 세로로 하나.. 어이없이 […] 놓여있었다. 가격대비 너무 불편한 곳이었다. 찾기도 정말 쉽지 않은 아주 골깊은 곳에 위치해있었다. Neueres Bad. Betreffend Sauberkeit. Auf der Klobrille konnte man noch eingetrocknetes Blut vorfinden. Ein wirklich einzigartiges Hotel haben wir da gebucht. Wir waren zu dritt und haben ein Familienzimmer gehabt. Okay, wer auf Luxus und zB einen TV besteht, der sollte woanders weiterschauen. Wer aber etwas wirklich originelles und schweizerisches sucht, der ist hier genau richtig. Tolle Lage, extrem nettes Personal, tolles Abendessen und das Hotel Paxmontana […] um die Ecke wird auch bald fertig werden. Zu guter Letzt habe ich (ziemlich halbhirnig) meinen Toilettenbeutel liegen gelassen, den das Paxmontana auf eigene Rechnung und ohne mein Zutun mir gleich nachgeschickt hat - was sagt man dazu??? Gasthaus Paxmontana is located in a very nice and scenic location. All-in-all the hotel was very good, the room and service were fantastic as well as the breakfast. The views were also breathtaking and the general feeling was great.
