Very comfortable hotel, attractive rooms and public spaces, fairly friendly staff and quite conveniently located. When I stayed there in January 2013, the internet connection and outbound phone were down, over 5 days. This was an inconvenience. To the hotel staff credit, they offered to reimburse my booking and assist in finding another hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay at this hotel again, but would ensure prior knowledge about such amenities.

I was quite satisfied with the quality, service and standard of the hotel. My only comment is that I think that the hotel should offer free internet connection in the room to single women travelling alone. Making such visitors either pay 15 pounds per day (exhorbitant) or go down to the hotel lobby (not safe walking corridors at night) is a very out of date way to run a hotel.

I had an enjoyable stay at the hotel. Everyone was helpful and friendly and it was a welcome respite.
Location.
Lyndale Guest House is in Harrogate (Pateley Bridge) and regional attractions include Fountains Abbey, Turkish Baths and Health Spa, and Studley Royal Park. Additional regional attractions include Ripley Castle and Gardens and Bolton Abbey.
Property Features.
In addition to tour/ticket assistance, Lyndale Guest House features self parking. The property has designated areas for smoking.

"I would think most people would be happy here"
On arrival there was no-one in attendance. Two phone numbers were displayed on a window underneath scaffolding which we had to ring This is all very well if you have a mobile, otherwise you have to look for a phonebox - which are few and far between nowadays. However, once we had booked in everything was fine. The owner was very friendly and helpful […] when we asked for recommendations to eat. For anyone wishing to have takeaways the use of the kitchen was a splendid ideal. The breakfast was exceptional and nothing was too much trouble. The owner's wife cooked the breakfast and when everyone had finished them came out and talked to the visitors, which was a nice touch. A lack of car parking spaces on a fairly busy road wasn't good. This was a nostalgic trip for me as I used to visit this house regularly when it was a private house. The alterations have been done very well and the rooms were very well looked after. The breakfast was excellent and the owners were very welcoming.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
