Staff was very friendly. Neighbor hood was questionable. Mens club down the road and people were out late.

It was not the Hilton by no means however I have been stuck in worse . The bed was clean the shower was hot and there was more than 5 stations on the TV so that's better than a lot of motel 6 I have stayed .. It is right for the price range ..... Would stay again

Small hotel a bit out of Lake Charles. The rooms are very big and comfortable, beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. The air conditioning in the room did not work well, it was either too warm or too cold, it was very hard to adjust the temperature. All the rooms are ground level and the windows have no bars so opening the windows was not an […] option as the hotel is in a quite secluded area. In order to get around you need a car. We were driving from New Orleans toward Texas, so we decided to stay 1 night around Lake Charles. For the price we payed, it was a good value. Read more

I must admit I was very disappointed in the motel when we first pulled up. It is in remote area with designed iron gate around the property. The front door is kept locked and has a drive up window for night time. The outside gives the appearance of a motel used for hourly rates, but once we stayed, the motel is in a quite area. The room was clean, not […] sparkling. The bed was comfortable. The A/C heater, although antiquated worked very well. It appears that the owner is trying to improve the motel. The people of the hotel may have been hard to understand but were very friendly. If you just want a place to rest between casinos and fabulous restaurants, it is worth the money. If you don't mind paying double then stay at one of the casino hotels or near casinos. If you want to save money and just need the hotel room to rest at, it is adequate . Read more

This hotel needs renavating. Lights need to be changed. A paint job is needed and the parking lot needs updating. The linens were stained and yellowed. Some spots were thin from over washing.

I will say that the room was clean, but that is the only positive note about this hotel. First, i was told it would be a queen bed. However, it was only a double and the mattress was uncomfortable. The hotel itself is very old and rundown. The neighborhood does not look safe. I will not be staying here again! Very dissatisfied!

Spend a few extra bucks and go somewhere better. Hotel workers are nice, but if you call for any questions they are unavailable. Currently I have been awake for 2 hours now due to the excessive loud music being played by another guest outside. Trying to call the front desk....nothing. Tried calling last night for extra pillows and blankets....nothing. […] I hope the workers are sleeping peacefully because their guests aren't! And it's not exactly the safest area to be walking outside alone to ask them to turn it down. I will either get shot or my vehicle vandalized if they know who complained. There are numerous hotels within one or two exits from this hotel, spend a few extra dollars and have the piece of mind that staying in a good location brings. The hotel rooms are the highpoint of this location. The outside is any thing but attractive. While the room was clean and well supplied with amenities the outside of the hotel was very shabby and there were too many drunks hanging out in the parking lot. The outside was not well lit and a little scary.

Outside doesn't look that great, but the inside is nice. Fridge and Microwave are outdated. HBO channel did not work. Lot of furniture sitting outside. The towels are rough and thin. Rooms are quite big.

The motel itself doesn't look that great, but it's very clean and comfortable. Hotel.com charged triple the going rate but that's probably because everything in the area was booked due to a softball tournament. The next night the motel charged me the going rate and that was much better.

The Hotel is great. The location, The price. Only one thing, the hotel is under reconstruction and there was lot of old furniture sitting outside the room doors. That dint bother me but made the Hotel look bad. But Im sure when the finish. is gonna look great.

"Close to a freeway, yet a world away," is how I would describe this hotel! Things were quiet and clean. I really enjoyed getting a real "no smoking room." The maids obviously don't smoke, so the rooms do not smell of smoke.
