      We stayed at the hotel for my daughter's school trip. Enjoyed the breakfast (biscuits and gravy is a plus!)--wish you offered skim milk. Enjoyed the King/pull out bed room. It was great to have two TVs! The rooms were a bit dry--a cool air humidifier would be nice in each room. Nonetheless, we had a nice time! Thank you!

      The only problem we had was that our room was not ready when we arrived at 4:00pm (they were fully booked the night before and were running behind). But we only had to wait 20 minutes, and the staff was very nice. Rooms were nice, and very clean. Good breakfast, as well. Definitely worth the price!

      We were quite comfortable with our suite. The hotel is updating the TV's, but ours wasn't one of them. The furniture adds to the quaintness of the hotel. The kitchen was clean and everything worked. The staff was very helpful from giving directions to cleaning our suite. We do have to give an extra round of applauds to Herman!!!! Not only is he a fantastic painter, he was a great help to us when we needed a new remote control. Breakfast was very good. Thank you Whitney Hotel for making our stay comfortable while we were there to watch our son gradutate to a U.S. ARMY SOLDIER!

    The quality of the hotel hurts the Wyndham Hotel brand. The material the hotel was constructed with was inferior. We heard footsteps from the room above us, The pad on the seat over the AC unit was dirty.

    Hotel was wonderful, close to Fort Jackson which is what I needed. Free breakfast leaves a lot to be desired but there are several breakfast locations within a quick drive. Will stay here again if I ever find myself back in the Fort Jackson area.

    I stay here frequently when Im in the Columbia area. The staff is always polite and helpful. Rooms are always very clean. Its convenient to several fast food restaurants, the USC campus and Ft Jackson.

    Overall it was a pretty decent place to stay. As it came time to settle that night the guest next door was very loud..had music playing and I heard front desk clerk go to the room about 2 times. I had my 3 kids so trying to get to sleep was not easy at all.

    owner, lady at front desk was rude and rushing through things. Not knowing I was a member she started to mention breakfast being served in the morning and rudly stopped in the middle of her sentence. I asked her what she was going to say to get her to finish. I had stayed there long ago so I know she was the owner. Very rude behavior.

    I stayed here when attending a graduation at Ft. Jackson. The base is only a couple miles away, very convenient. Room was clean, breakfast wasn't anything special but there were waffles, bagels, muffins, cereal, and yogurt. For the price, this hotel is a great place to sleep and shower.

    We stayed at the hotel for my son's basic training graduation at Fort Jackson. It was about a 10 minute drive to the gate to enter Fort Jackson. Easy on, easy off highway access, and close to restaurants and Walmart for those forgotten necessities! The room and bathroom were modern, in good repair, and clean, although the floors could have been swept/vacuumed […] a little better. The bed was very comfortable. You could hear noise from above and adjoining rooms but was quiet during the night. Breakfast in the morning was fine, cereal, bagels, waffles. The hotel staff were very nice.     Staff was great! Henry provided us with great places to visit...even short cuts to places saving us a ton of time! Everyone was friendly and very nice to our kids. We all had a great time and would love to go back! The hotel is only 10 minutes from Fort Jackson.

(For graduations, get off at Exit 12 and use that gate--much faster than going to Exit 15). It is also very convenient to shopping and restaurants. There is a Ruby Tuesdays and […] a Waffle House within walking distance and many others close by. I got a flat tire at the hotel and the tire store was only a 1/10 of a mile down the street. The hotel sets back from the main road down a long driveway so you don't hear any traffic noise.
