The hotel was adequate and the location convenient for the event I attended. The price was reasonable. I appreciated the free continental breakfast. The breakfast room--an interior room without windows--is small and was crowded both days I was there. Alternate seating is in the more pleasant lobby with windows! Also at this Best Western, unlike at other BWs where I've stayed, the towels noticeably scratchy, not soft, are either old or require different laundering.

This might be the nicest hotel based right on the ocean at Ocean Beach. The staff was very helpful, the room immaculate, and the location second to none. I've stayed at a number of hotels in the area, but I won't stay anywhere but here in the future. You can't go wrong with an ocean front suite!

We needed a last min getaway for a few days to unwind and enjoy a romantic getaway. The hotel staff was awesome very friendly made us common folk feel like celebrities. Great service location and atmosphere . If your dog people you will love this hotel very pet friendly. We will be staying here again and bring our dog as well . The ac in the room was a lil uncopertive however the weather was perfect so not much use was needed. Room service food was great small portions but very tasty. Location is great have drinks on the. 9 h floor lounge and what the game from a spectacular view.

"Locked out"
Hi, Was loading my car at 5am to get on the road and was locked out of my room until I was able to locate a worker. Took about forty minutes and hit traffic as a result of this. Was not very happy.

"Bereavment visit to San Diego"
Sorry to say the hotel was not as expected from Quality inns. We had to change the fluorescent lamp in the bathroom that had burned out because no one was available to change it. Breakfast was disappointing. Dirty and unkept. Food was not replenished when out and had unpleasant workers attending when they showed up about every hour. Clean, comfortable, and ok with my 70 lb hound dog. Very convenient location.

The girl at the check in desk was extra nice and helpful in giving us directions as to where we needed to go. The only downfall was the noise from Carl's Jr. Fast Food.....but it wasn't anything to extreme, just a little noisy that kept me up a bit. "Pleasantly Surprised"
I must admit that I am was expecting the quality of the other place that says they will leave the light on for you. But, I will definitely be choosing Quality Inn when I am on a BUDGET. "Quality Inn in Mira Mar- a must stay"
It was very conveniences to get around and the price was right. We reserved for one night but decided to stay for another night. The breakfast room was clean with a variety to choose from. We will sure stay again when we go back to San Diego.
"cold shower"
RUN AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL NOW---I stayed at this hotel on 2-10 and 2-11 (in room #112)... the shower had 2 minutes worth of hot water all three times i took a shower. the person at the desk did nothing the first night and then i explained my disapproval the next day in the morning. the lady at the desk was rude and unhelpful. she said she would put me […] in another room for a hot shower, then she looked and said "unfortunitly were all booked" so i said what ur telling me is i have to take a cold shower? she said "yes".... also the back door was broke and anyone could enter at anytime day or night which was a safety concern to me, also it keept slamming ALL night long, couldnt sleep a wink. when i asked for who i send my complaints too she gave me a card... i went out side and dialed the # and it was back to the front desk and she answered it.... jezzzz no free night saty or anything like that... no sorry from her when we checked out or anything.... Bathtub was very slick and could pose a serious hazard to unsuspecting guest needs to be correctedASAP.

It has very good breakfast. The bed was very comfortable. we could watch our car from our room. the air conditioning was good however i wish there was a fan in the bathroom to get fresh air.

when i first walked in to the labby. to the right was a very dirty pool. also all night i can hear is people running and yelling up and down the huals. i do not recommend this hotel. it was not quailty!!!!

The key did not work. The excersize facility was closed which was very important for me. I will never stay there.

The convenient location is not well marked and we went several miles past before we realized it. The hotel is doing repairs of which I was not aware. I chose this facility because it said breakfast was included and we wanted a quick start in the morning. The breakfast room is under construction (not mentioned by Hotels.com) so we received an bag of […] snacks with breakfast bars, Kool_Ade drink packet, chips and water. "Friendly staff but bathroom needs updating"
The bed was comfortable. My only complaint was the bathroom. The tub looked dingy; after showering I discovered it was because there was a depression in the middle of the tub where water would not drain. The water temp was hard to regulate. It was so close to all the places that we went to. We saved gas and the travel time. Very convenient.

If you're out and about and decide not to drive home, it's a good place to lay your head down for the night and wash up. Especially if you get a good rate from hotels.com. The dining room was shutdown, so don't expect breakfast in the morning.

Great beds, so comfortable, slept like a baby. Nice rooms, spacious bathroom. Could've been cleaner. Staff not the friendliest but not entirely rude. Overall, would recommend to a friend or family member.

Stayed here two nights 4/27 and 4/28. Convenient to MCAS Miramar and businesses in Scripps Ranch. This Quality Inn doesn't serve breakfast but there is a Hardees next door that does.
