Hôtel de l'Etable - Champery

Hotel Le Faucigny is in the ideal location in the middle of Chamonix Center. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms are small compared to what you typically get in the U.S., but everything we needed was there. I would definitely stay again and would recommend Faucigny to others.

I stayed here in Feb 2013 -- so, this is the real-meal-deal. I am a die-hard skier/traveler who travels 200,000 miles per year and stays at many 5 stars in many cities. Here's what I love about Le Poste in Tzoumaz: these people care!!!! Thiebaud is a gem; the dining room manager makes a huge difference. The food is very good, costs 50% of what similar Verbier meals cost without the "faux posh" attitude. Just like going home for dinner. Let's see: I slept well, drank well, ate well and felt welcome. All I ever ask for. Stay here....stay awhile...I will go back. Verbier rocks...and I live in Boulder, CO., just skied Silverton yesterday and will ski Vail within the week, however, this trip haunts me. It was wonderful, Luis

Nice modest hotel in a great location in Chamonix. The staff was accomodating - however appeared to be short staffed at the front desk a lot of times. But the one person that was there - did there best they could with all that was going on. The rooms were modestly decorated - but clean. Excellent location - in great walking distance to everything Chamonix. If you do not want to spend a lot of money on accomodations, I would recommend this hotel.

Great hotel. Amazing location. Walking distance to anywhere in downtown Chamonix area. Very happy with our stay. My only complaint is that the building is not sound proofed very well. The loud clunking of ski boots in the AM was a little bothersome. But it acted as a good wake up call to get up and get out to ski some fresh pow. All in all, great place. I will most definitely be back.

Stayed here a week. Hotel was clean and comfortable and in a great location. The concierge desk was very helpful. Breakfast was ok wish they had more of a selection. The only minus was the spa which left much to be desired. There is no hot tub and the pool was chili. I hear that in France they don't allow hot jacuzzis per the board of health. after a hard day on te slopes we were craving a soak in a hot tub. We made do with the sauna and steam room. Other than that everything was great and you can't beat the location and the views.
