The location is perfect, right across the street from the Valporetto (the water bus). Eugenio, the concierge is the best I have experienced in any hotel in any country. He went out of his way to make our stay wonderful. Coffee and tea any time of day, letting me use the hotel computer (several times), arranging a free motorboat ride to the glass works in Murano,marking a map with the number of the valporetto to take (including the times for when we had to leave early to get to the airport, and just being one of the nicest people I have ever met! The room was spacious and immaculate with three windows, one overlooking the Grand Canal. The bathroom was spotless and well lit, even had a towel warmer for the towels, the heating control was well appreciated since it snowed the day we arrived! With the Valporetto station just across the street it is easy to get anywhere in Venice. About 20 minutes from the bus station at Pont Roma on the 5.1 to the hotel. Or take the line 1 and cruise down the Grand Canal on the way to the hotel. I love Lido since one doesn't have to cross bridges or walk a long way to the hotel and there are many restaurant choices within a 2 block area.

Superb receptionist & staff always eager to help. On arrival the lovely lady behind the counter treated us warmly & gave us a map & highlighted everything... worth doing & some superb tips on where to eat. Room was always clean & gave us that warm homely feeling, bed was a bit on the stiff side but is standard as in the majority of hotels you stay at. We are both in our late 20's & normally stay in 4-5 star hotels & this was to a high standard. Would recommend this hotel to any travelers. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Jul 1, 2012

Excellent customer service in immaculate, stylish boutique hotel. Not far from main sights and just far enough from the overwhelming Venice tourist bustle. Several excellent restaurants nearby. This sounds like an advert but believe me it isn't.

친절한 마담과 작지만 우아하고ㅡ청결합니다 . 위치는 처음 찾을때는 조금 헤매야하지만 구글맵으로 다나면 큰 무리는 없어요. 산마르코 광장도 가까워요. 아침마다 직접 해주시는 커피두 너무 맛있어요. 카푸치노 라떼 초코 아메리카노 뭐든지 만들어주세요. 그리고 매일 바뀐, 케잌은 이번 여행에서 너무 맛있는 디저트였어요.

Das Classic-Zimmer VIENNA ist kein Zimmer für ein Hotel dieser Preiskategorie! Es ist max. 2,50 m breit und hat keinen Stuhl und keinen Tisch. Es ist schicht zu klein dafür. Das Bett ist mit ca. 1,40 m Breite für zwei Personen sehr schmal und für Personen mit mehr als ca. 1,75 m Körperlänge zu kurz. Unter Brandschutzaspekten eine Zumutung ist auch, […] daß man die Fensterseite des Bettes nur erreicht, indem man sich an der Fußseite seitlich vorbeihangelt. Deshalb ist es auch für Personen, die nicht gut zu Fuß sind, ungeeignet. Im Bad gibt es an der Badewanne keinen Duschvorhang. Die Sauberkeit ist mit sehr gut und der Service etc. sind mit gut zu bewerten. Wir haben uns über das Zimmer beschwert. Daraufhin hat man uns für eine Nacht ein Superior-Zimmer ohne Aufpreis gewährt.
