The hotel was fairly nice, but not a 4 star hotel. The price was a little too high compared to souroundng hotels. There is a fee for using their beach, which it's not included with the price of your hotel. For a family of four, they charge 60 Euros/day to use their beach. It's less than a block away from the train station, so it's a very convenient […] location. The complementary breakfeast is light, but that is common for European hotels. Some of the staff were very freindly and willing to help, while others were rude. I would not recomend this hotels to my friends. Read more

I was a bit surprised by the hotel’s location – 5th floor of an apartment building. But when the elevator opened, we walked into a new and very modern lobby with expansive windows overlooking the water. Our room was also very modern with a large bed and even larger shower! After spending several days in Rome in tiny rooms, this hotel was a wonderful […] change. The hotel is located just outside of the main tourist part of town, but walking distance to shops and restaurants. The hotel is on a cliff overlooking the Sorrento coast, so you have direct access to the beach and a marina. It was warm enough to go swimming in October! The hotel is run by a wonderful family who is friendly, very helpful and made us feel extremely welcome. Despite the fact that I spoke little Italian, they had a good understanding of English and were more than able to help with any of my inquiries. Read more

Beautiful location in the quiet town of Piano di Sorrento. A 10-minute walk from the Circumvesuviana train station, with lovely beaches and delicious gelato just steps away. Beautiful room with a beautiful view. A one stop train stop away from the town center, which kind of meant you had a curfew & couldn't wander the filled streets otherwise you missed the last train.

Basic, clean hotel. Not within walking distance of Sorrento but stunning views in area. Poor air con in room. It's controlled from reception and goes off in the middle of the night. The newly refurbished hotel is on the 5th floor of an apartment block on a cliff overlooking the sea with an amazing view to the islands. You can watch the cruise ships in the bay below as you eat cornflakes. We were the only guests (it was October), so the calm was welcome after a day in the chaos of Naples an hour away by train. Hotel is located on top floor of appartment block, and this gives you excellent views over the Bay of Naples including Sorrento and Vesuvius. Ask for sea view room. Hotel has secure parking and is also close to the station, so you have the choice of either using your own transport or public transport.

Nyere nærmest skandinavisk indretning. Pænt og nydeligt, men ikke ikke for den, der søger italiensk atmosfære. Morgenmadsrestaurant/lounge med fantastisk udsigt over havet gennem store vinduer på 5. sal. Rigtig fint til en enkelt overnatning undervejs.

De eerste indruk van het personeel is: stug maar wel meewerkend. Maar zoals altijd: wanneer je vriendelijk en beleefd blijft tegenover het personeel dan krijg je dat gedrag ook weer terug. De dames werden na verloop van een paar dagen steeds minder stug in de omgang en deden erg hun best om het naar onze zin te maken. Maar die Italiaanse ontbijten........ […] als je niet van zoet/zoetigheid houdt .......dramatisch. De ligging is goed (bovenop een appartementen complex) met een fantastisch uitzicht over de golf van Napels en op de Vesuvius en zonsondergangen. Vi angret ikke at vi tilbrakte en liten uke på hotellet! Beliggenheten er flott med svært kort avstand til Sorrento, kjapt med jernbanen til Pompei og andre steder, kun en drøy time til Napoli om man skulle ønske det. Greit å komme seg til Amalfi bådemed buss og båt. Bademuligheter like ved hotellet, og det er mange båtturer en kan ta Ischia, Capri..) […] Mye bedre å bo i Piano enn i selve Sorrento; både roligere og billigere . Hotellet har praktfull sjøutsikt på ene siden, og utsikten mot fjellene på andre siden er nesten like fin. Vennlig familie som gjerne hjelper. Read more

Superato lo choc del modesto ingresso comune ad un condominio vecchieggiante e con l'aiuto di un ascensore a dir poco vetusto (ma si prospetta una nuova istallazione) si giunge in PARADISO. Vi var to hold venner, som sammen besøgte Vesuv, Pompei, Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello og Capri og hotellet i Piano du Sorrento lå fint på turen til disse byer. En bus på torvet nedenfor hotellet kørte til Marina Pic., hvorfra bådene til Capri, Amalfi m.m udgik. Jernbanestationen på Vesuviana-banen lå ca. 10-15 min. gang fra hotellet. Wir haben im Hotel Cosmomare eine Woche verbracht und haben uns hier sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Hotel liegt ca. 10 Gehminuten von der Circumvesuviana-Bahnstation "Piano di Sorrento" entfernt und war somit optimaler Ausgangspunkt für zahlreiche Ausflüge (Neapel, Pompei, Sorrent, Capri, Amalfi). Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Steilküste von Piano und unser […] Zimmer hatte einen wunderbaren Blick auf das Meer und den Vesuv.
