      The hotel, staff, restaurant were all excellent. The only problem is that I was charged 3 euro a day extra for each of the 4 days. It was above my prepaid amount. This seemed unusual and possibly inappropriate. It should be mentioned on the site if if is a standard. I stayed at 2 other hotels int he ssame region on this trip, including another Leonardo Hotel and this charge did not apply. I was told by the clerk that this was a country tax.

      Our room was clean and very efficient. It was easy to get anywhere in the center of the city by walking, or if needed the public transportation was right there; even the train stations were within walking distance. There is a breakfast available at the hotel if desired. The wifi was also a bonus.

      The hotel staff was very responsive and helpful. The room was adequate and had BBC news. However, there was no way to block the very early morning sun into the room and parking was very limited. The dining facilities were very pleasant--both inside and outside, and breakfast was very good. It was a bit out of the way but not a bad hub for exploring the area. Warning: GPS takes you in the "back way"--not the most convenient approach.
