This is a real gem. Quiet neighborhood but within walking distance of many of the sites. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The furnishings in the lobby, restaurant and the rooms give the hotel a nice family feeling. Would stay there again. Can be a little hard to find.

Easy 5 minute walk to the center of town, the hotel was comfortably removed from the insanity of Brugge's tourist-impact zone. Great free breakfast, friendly reception, and comfortable bed. The hotel has its own bar (ring the bell to get the desk clerk to come up and mix you a drink) and a nice, tranquil outdoor patio with tables and chairs for kicking back during the good weather season. Only thing that could be improved is the bed pillows - they reminded me of a flat bag full of rocks. Thank you Hotel Ter Brughe, we will plan to stay with you again when we return to Brugge.

Nice modern hotel in a medevil setting, parking underground, with a restaurant . . one way street entrance . . short interesting walk to where central Brugge starts . . cobblestone streets . . really cute and interesting town

Situated in the heart of Ghent, NH Gent Belfort is close to Stadhuis, Belfry of Ghent, and St. Nicholas' Church. Also nearby are Saint Bavo Cathedral and St. Jacobs Church.

"Mostly very good"
There is not much to fault here. The only downsides were the printer which is a hassle to use and expensive. It didn't work when I was there. The staff always say printing is "free" but in my experience it is not free. Maybe for 1 page. The room was sometimes too hot. The bath tap was badly designed. A bit too clever. "Nice hotel"
A very nice hotel situated in the heart of Gent. Very pleasant and helpful staff good, even if a bit pricy, breakfast. Only bad thing was the fact that we got a smokers room which smelled quite bad. All in all we were happy with our stay at the Belfort.
"Great location but an ugly, charmless hotel"
Possibly one of the ugliest hotels I've ever visited, but with the advantage of a very convenient location. This hotel is screaming out for a retrofit - it's charmless, gloomy, very poorly furnished, and the cavernous rooms are simply a waste of space. We arrived to the hotel at midday to find the check-in policy is strictly enforced - no check'ins […] before 2pm! - even if it appeared not to have many clients. This is strictly a business hotel - if you need a wi-fi connection, a bed, and a central location then it's a reasonable option. But if you're looking for some local charm - and the old city of Ghent offers plenty of that - then steer well clear of this one. Read more
"NH Gent Belfort"
Very comfortable hotel with excellent breakfast. We booked a Weekend Extender which was useful as we didn't need to leave our room until 5pm. However, the free minibar offer was very mean - 2 beers and a few cokes and bottles of water - just a couple of small bottles of wine would have made a better impression.

This is a very comfortable hotel which is well situated for siteseeing in Ghent. A short walk from the number 1 tram from the station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!

"Bra hotell, okunnig personal"
Till Gents främsta sevärdheter hör konstmuseerna i Citadellparken. Då jag och min fru, 70 resp. 75 år gamla, skulle besöka dem, frågade jag i receptionen hur man tar sig dit. Svaret blev "Spårväg linje 1" och den unga kvinnan ringade in "Kortrijksepoort" som rätt hållplats att stiga av på. Sedan skulle vi bara behöva promenera högst 5 minuter till mueerna. […] Allt detta var fel: Det kom ingen hållplats som hette så och vi hamnade istället vid stationen och fick gå till fots 25 minuter. Det finns en lämplig hållplats för spårvagnen men det bästa rådet hade kanske varit att ta buss 5. Om vi fått korrekt information, hade vi kanske ändå valt att ta en taxi. Nu fick vi mycket möda och stort besvär alldeles i onödan. Det är nonchalant mot gästerna att ha personer i receptionen med så dålig lokalkännedom! Read more

"NH Gent Belfort Hotel"
Een heel mooi hotel met veel comfort en luxe uitstraling. Zo is ook de deluxe double room een zeer prettige ervaring! De locatie is super; in mooi centrum van Gent.
"NH Hotel Gent Belfort: Een aanrader"
Zeer mooi hotel en goede service, midden in het centrum van Gent! Gebruik gemaakt van de Lazy Sunday, fijn om op zondag uit te kunnen slapen en rustig aan te doen. Gratis upgrade gekregen van Superior naar Deluxe kamer; de kamer was de naam waardig! Goede bedden en bankstel, luxe badkamer en een nespresso op de kamer. Perfect verblijf!
Het hotel is goed gelegen, iedereen is er vriendelijk. De netheid en het comfort zijn super.
"NH Belfort geen aanrader-deels toe aan opknapbeurt"
Twee nachten in dit hotel. Eerste nacht gedateerde kamer met doorgezakt bed dat in "U vorm" lag (dus benen en hoofd hoog, rug en billen laag). Schuifdeur naar de badkamer was uit de rails gelopen en kluis was stuk. Na klagen kregen we een andere kamer. Die zag er keurig netjes en hip uit. Een verademing na die eerste nacht (wel weer jammer dat van die […] nieuwe kamer de badkamer nog niet was opgeknapt). De ontbijtruimte is in vergelijking met de nieuwe hippe kamers ook aan een opknapbeurt toe. Ligging in de stad is fantastisch maar ik zou dit hotel niet aanraden. Read more
"prachtige ligging en mooie kamers"
De ligging van het Hotel was perfect, zeker tijdens de Gentse feesten. Wij hadden een aanbieding voor de executive kamer en deze lagen aan de achterkant van het hotel. We hadden hierdoor geen last van geluidsoverlast. De kamer was erg ruim, modern en van alle gemakken voorzien.
