Shuttle service super convinient (we used a total of 6 times). Hotel stored part of our luggage until we returned 3 days later, saved us from carring them back and foward to Nagpur and Mumbai. (No extra charge). Wifi reliable, however need to ask for a new code every morning..

We have travelled all over the world and stayed at hotels in Mumbai...but in terms of a terrible experience this one was the tops. I will try and be a bit balanced about this....first the pros before I go to the cons. Location- near the airport- good. Complimentary breakfast- passable fare. The lights and the tv and door are all controlled by an iphone remote- very cool...but the network it is on fails miserably so we ended up having to call for help after returning at 230 am from a wedding party as we couldnt sleep and had to have manual overrides installed to turn the lights off. The door key the next night was inactivated...annoying when you return at 2 am and need to sleep. While they offer laundry service- they dont need to send someone at 9 am to knock at the door to ask for it...darn! Read more

The bathroom could have used a thorough cleaning and deoderizing....was OK, but there was an odor that detracted from an otherwise good experience. The hotel was quiet, the breakfast good and the shuttle service from the airport was great. I would stay there again, but would also look for other options to try.

The staff was very helpful. We were able to hire a driver through the hotel for an entire day of sight seeing in mumbai for $36 USD. Wifi is free, but you had to keep re-entering the log in code which was annoying, but not a big deal. It's not the Taj or the Breakers hotel, but it doesn't claim to be. My wife and I had a night lay over as we were travelling else where, so keep that in mind. For us, we wanted a place that was clean, up to date in amenities, and had a good friendly staff. The Suba International lived up to all of those expectations. You get free wi-fi, a free breakfast […] buffet, and free shuttle service back and forth to the airport which is only 6-8 minutes away. I recently stayed in a hotel in Chicago, which didn't offer the basic amenity of free wi-fi. You were expected to pay for it. And this was a reputable hotel in Chicago. But, of all hotels, the Suba International not only gives you free wi-fi but also goes a couple of steps ahead (ipod touch to control a/c, lights, etc.). The staff were very friendly, the porters were very attentive, and nobody and I mean nobody hassled for a tip or that they weren't happy with the tip you gave them. The hotel is all class in that respect. At the very least, if you're looking for a place to stay the night till you get onto a connecting flight the next day, why choose any other hotel? And as a added bonus, if you have a lot of time till your flight leaves the next day, there is the Andheri East Train Station a short rickshaw ride away which you can take to go see a little of Mumbai while you're there. I think we paid a little over 30 Rupees to get to the train station from the hotel. Book your stay and be pleasantly surprised! Read more

Overall a pretty good hotel, close to the airport free taxi to and from, that was hotel staff and the staff was really friendly and helpful. Only two complaints first was the ipod room control had to have them reset the thing q couple times just be able to turn lights on and use the tv. Nice and clean room. Friendly staff . Good food but costly. We were picked up on time and it took 20 min to reach the hotel. We felt that the staff are looking fir the tip for all the jobs. It was a relief to transfer to this hotel after a disastrous booking for another hotel that we left losing our money. Hotel Suba was pleasing and we had a restful last few days in Mumbai. Cleanliness in India is a problem, but here the entire hotel was clean, pleasing and tastefully decorated. The room size was good and well appointed as the bathroom, […] only problem the shower head, it spurted water in hard shots, the housekeeping boy did try and turn the shower head to a more normal sprinkle without succeeding completely; the showerhead should be changed. Complimentary toiletries were given after we asked for them since the room description included these. The staff was very helpful, courteous and our stay went very smoothly. Food was very good indeed, delicious and to be tried. Dining room staff could do with a little polish - cutlery did not match dishes served, but this was quickly remedied when pointed out and I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in a central Mumbai location with transport easily available, and staff desirous of helping the guests. Put us in a smoking room, (even though requested non-smoking) but quickly moved us to a non- smoking room when we asked. Book in here when you come to Mumbai! I've stayed in many hotels and although this is rated a 4 star, I would rate this very high end 4 star for sure. I was met at domestic arrivals by a very well dressed man with my name board, shown to an air conditioned people carrier and offered a bottle of water as soon as I sat down. The hotel is only a 10 minute […] drive from the main airport and is simply gorgeous! So clean, well designed and presented, with impeccably dressed and well mannered staff. I just can't fault this place. The room was beautiful. Not a scuff mark or ounce of dust anywhere, and the attention to detail is astounding. Everything in the room is even controlled with an ipod touch with an app called 'DigiValet' - aircon, lighting, tv, movies, audio.. the fact this place doesn't have a spa must be one of the few reasons it's not a 5 star. Oh and, bizarrely, it doesn't serve alcohol. And all I wanted was a beer after my flight. However, there is a beer and wine store just seconds to the right of the hotel on the same side of the street and you can bring this back to your room. The room service perfect, though, and the food I had (just a simple stir fry veg) was the best I've ever had. This place really is fabulous. Don't hesitate to book a room here! Read more

I had a few hours overnight in Mumbai and was not expecting much from an Airport hotel. I was pleasantly surprised. The Executive suite was excellent and the Super size King bed, double glazed windows and IPod Digivalet ensured I had the most sound sleep of my holiday. The Bathroom was stacked with enough toiletries- the nail file was a life saver!!! […] Being a woman travelling alone I was a bit nervous, however the hotel Security only permit guests to take the Lifts to the rooms. A tip with the Shuttle car- you need to book it 24hours before if you want and Airport pick up. The pre-paid taxi from the Domestic airport cost only Rs120 or A$14.00 so did not dent the budget.
