"5 Star hotel a short Tuk Tuk ride to town"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 2, 2012
Mahogany lobby and grand old 5 star hotel with beautiful pool area and chef for individualized omelets or noodle soup at breakfast in addition to the grand buffet. The tuk tuk drivers are available at all hours right in front of the hotel. The city is just 10 min tuk tuk ride to town or 35 min walk. If you do not mind being away from the action a bit this guarantees quiet nights. Staff very friendly and helpful.
"Wonderful location"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 1, 2012
Great value for the price. It is close to both airport and Siem Reap center. Rooms are comfortable and clean, service is excellent. Their restaurant is good too. If I were to visit Siem Reap again I would not look for other hotel.

"Great Location and staff!"Reviewed by Gloria and Ja of "Long Beach, CA" on Apr 17, 2012
This hotel was beautiful right when you enter. The staff was very helpful and ready to help with anything we needed. The hotel pool was very nice also. Just wish it had a hot tub area, but overall, it was great. We also got great massages in their beautiful massage area. The spa area was nice, nothing crazy, but very well kept. I would DEFINITELY stay here again!!
"Angkor Miracle Spa and Resort"Reviewed by irene b of "half moon bay, California" on Apr 17, 2012
Excellent accomodations! I loved it! From the breakfasts to the pool to the massage. Ease of convenience to downtown Night Market, Central Market, Silk Farm and all the Angkor Wat antiquities and temples. The staff was especially polite and accomodating. I would definitely recommend to someone else.

"Cheap and Best"
Good Hotel with affordable price
"Avista HOTEL"
There must have been a mistake when they named this accommodation as "hoStel", as they are offering HOTEL services. The room was big, clean and comfortable. The bed is also comfortable - relaxing after a long day at the temples. They have free wifi, towels and toiletries. They also have great breakfast! You can choose between several options, we had […] an omelette every morning - that kept us going until well in the afternoon - even though we are big guys! :) The staff at the reception is more than friendly, they really helped us and made us feel super-welcomed. We could also leave valuables at the reception that we could take out every evening and return the next morning - they always put it in an envelope and asked for my signature on the seals. Plus, it seemed to us that they always have security guard upfront, which I'm not sure is necessary, but made us more comfortable. They could also organize for anything you need, from massage to tuk-tuk or driver, you just need to ask. Location is not perfect, but it's only about 6 minutes to downtown (Pub Street and Old Market) with tuk-tuk, which costs 2 USD. You could also walk, but after a long day at the temples, you will probably choose the tuk-tuk like we did. However, if you're a bike-rider for example, this may be ideal for you, as the hotel is on the side of Siem Reap that is closer to Angkor Wat and the entrance of the park - you get there earlier in the morning. Overall, this is an exceptional accommodation for the price they charge, and if you're a travel enthusiast like I am, this hotel will be perfect for your sleep. And to have a nice breakfast. All the other times you will be exploring the temples and the city anyways... Read more

"freundlich und inkompetent"
hotel weg vom zentrum. freundliches personal, aber unorganisiert und inkompetent (musste z.b. für ein veloschloss betteln. man könne auch jemanden bezahlen, um auf das fahrrad aufzupassen...). morgenessen gabe es zwar, aber wenn man es nicht verlangte, passierte nichts. dies zu einem doch recht hohen preis für diese gegend. im zentrum gibt es für den […] halben preis viel besseres. "Avista hostel - great value"
Avista is more a hotel than hostel with clean rooms and comfy beds. The staff is superfriendly and try very hard to make the stay as pleasant as possible to you. It is not located in the centre but they offer free tuk-tuk to town, you can walk back, as it is not that far away. They offer bikes which are an excelent way to explore the temples of Angkor. […] Breakfast is included and it keeps you going long. Read more
