Best if you are driving. Not sure about local transport connection as it is not in very center of the city. Everything was perfect - jacuzi in the room, clean, tidy, nice, wide choice of bufet for breakfast, swimming pool, jacuzi outside, internet. Will definetally go back there. Also staff was was very welcoming and helpful. 12 out of 10.

Modern hotel that feels more expensive than it is - price included parking, air conditioning and no hidden charges. Room was comfortable with a good modern en-suite, spotlessly clean and serviced every day. Beautiful pool and plenty of sun loungers. Decent continental breakfast. We had dinner at the hotel two nights and we were pleased with the food […] and the service. Only negative point is that there was quite a lot of noise from other rooms and on one night music from a party being held at the hotel - but this wasn't a problem between 11:30pm and 6:30am so generally got a good sleep. A modern hotel with an art deco styling that offers all the services expected of a 4* hotel. Our room was typical of modern hotels, not overly large but with all amenities. Storage space for clothing was an issue as we were staying for a week with the result that an amount of clothing had to be left in cases. The bed was comfortable, a little softer […] than usual for hotels and the air conditioning effective and reasonably quiet. The pool is the jewel being large well furnished and private plus shady areas if you wish to escape from the fierce sun. The staff were very helpful speak better English than I do Italian and were able to organise a late check-out for us for a small fee. The restaurant Is not of the highest Italian standard but is worth a visit. One strange event was, on my first visit, I was informed that they had no wine list which was not true. Still not worked that out! The hotel is actually situated outside the centre of Modica and I would suggest a car is necessary if you wish to visit the town (well worthwhile) and neighbouring places such as Ragusa, Noto and Cava d'Ispica. The staff were lovely and the restaurant not at all bad value. They could be a bit late in cleaning the rooms which is a bit of a nuisance if you are spending the day by the pool - which we had to ourselves for the 5 days we were there. We stayed at the Modica Place for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Hotel is modern with lovely quality contemporary furnishings and decoration. The hotel is absolutely immaculate, beds are very comfortable, breakfast is good and the pool area is beautiful –a real oasis in which to relax. Apart from the forgoing, what sets this hotel apart from others is the friendliness and excellent quality of customer service you receive from the minute you enter the hotel and throughout your stay. Massimo, the Manager makes a personal effort to great all his guests and makes every effort to ensure your stay is the best it can be. The same can be said about the receptionist Marina. Cet hôtel est réellement excentré, dans les faubourgs de Modica. Oubliez-le si vous n'avez pas de véhicule. En revanche, les chambres sont confortables, dans le plus pur style hôtel international vaguement chic. Le personnel était sympathique et professionnel.

Es gab nichts zu klagen. Zimmer war in Ordnung, Frühstück sehr gut. Da Vorsaison war, gab es auch keinerlei Lärmprobleme mit der Strandbar gleich vis a vis des Hotels.

Siamo 2 coppie di amici e abbiamo soggiornato al Modica Palace dal 27 dic.2011 al 1 Genn. 2012. Hotel ottimo e confortevole, il ristorante è sicuramente da provare, non perdetevi i piatti di chef Cristian!!!! e anche la colazione non è da meno!! E' distante dal centro di Modica qualche km. ma si trova in un bel polo commerciale con tanti negozi vicini […] e cmq Modica sia bassa che alta è assolutamente da vedere, L'hotel è un ottimo punto di partenza per visitare sia Ragusa che Siracusa, la valle di Noto e vicini ci sono altri piccoli centri come Scicli, Pachino e altri. Per Capodanno l'hotel ha organizzato un veglione di ottima qualità con musica e quant'altro. Sicuramente ritornero' al Modica Palace. Read more

The Modica Palace is a very nice hotel with very friendly service. It is not as intimite as some other Sicilian hotel but it has its own charm. When we arrived the receptionist showed us to the room and discovered that the bathroom was not cleaned from the last guests. This is of course not as it should be but the efforts they put into make up for the […] mistake was great. While cleaning we went to the very nice pool area and suddenly a waiter showed up with two cocktails for us to compensate for the problems. And the rest of the stay there were only smiles and good service Positve - Very nice pool area with a bar - great standard of room - good restaurant - fine breakfast - free internet - fee easy parking Negative - if you want a number og cosy restaurants and bars within walking distance this is probably not the right hotel for you. When to stay on this hotel? If you want to spoil yourself with som luxury (that you can afford) this is a good choice. Good break from the hectic towns you find around on Sicily. Udmærket nyt hotel med mange faciliteter. Venlig og kompetent betjening. Fint poolområde. Lidt afsides beliggenhed og er noget umotiveret lagt i et kvarter med villaer og småindustri. Kræver at man kommer i bil og har GPS. Godt valg til prisen.

If you are visiting the Ragusa valley in business or as a tourist by car, this is a great place to use as your base. State of the art design, super nice staff, comfortable beds (this is rare in Italy) with fluffy pillows. Nice outdoor area with jacuzzi and a large fresh pool. It's good to stay up in New Modica even if you are visiting Ragusa or Ibla […] or any of the other interesting cities in this beautiful part of Sicely. Use your navigator and the coordinates to find the hotel. The road that leads to the hotel is not so good so you might believe you are mislead. Shops and restaurants near by. This is a younger part of Modica up on the plataou and there is a lot of construction work going on in the area. Great hotel! Read more
