"Superschönes Ferienreihenhaus direkt am Wasser"
Als Familie mit hei Kindern habe ich dieses Hotel als Zwischenstation gewählt und wir wären gerne länger geblieben. Das Personal ist im ersten Moment recht unfreundlich.

"Sehr lautes und helles Zimmer!"
Generatoren direkt unter dem Fenster und Poolbeleuchtung ermöglichen keinen Schlaf. Außer ein "I'm so sorry" gab es keine Entschuldigung o. ä..

"Great Location and Lovely Setting"
02/08/16 Gwopilot Palm City, Florida
We enjoyed our 3 night visit and stayed in the unit right on the water. The unit was clean and cozy. The only minor problem was stained carpets on the stairs and landing at top. We loved opening the French doors to the screened patio. It was very quiet and the setting was peaceful. I had paid over $500/night so I found it to be very expensive but realize it is season in FL. I come to Islamorada very often to stay as this is my favorite location in the Keys. I would have preferred somewhere that had at least a small beach to get in the water and paying that much money, it was hopeful that the kayaks would be included in the fee, as other resorts. For those two previous reasons, I would not stay here again since there are many other locations to choose from that would be better suited for my needs.

"Sweet"

A two story townhouse, 2 bedrooms, laundry, full kitchen. Very nice pool, gas grill. We bbq'ed Christmas eve. Staff was so nice. Why stay in a small hotel, stay here in comfort. A perfect place. We originally booked for four nights. After two we wanted more. We got lucky, there was a cancellation. We had to move to a new unit but that was no problem. The staff went out of their way to make t a seamless transfer.

"Beautiful Townhouse on the Bay"
10/29/15 coronagirl78 Coconut Creek, Florida
I did a lot of research prior to booking, especially trying to decide between this property or the larger-sister property, Islander - Guy Harvey Outpost. This was a great choice for what we were looking for, and it suited our taste. The townhouse we were in, Unit 120, was beautifully decorated and squeaky clean! The kitchen was large and modern, the bedrooms were comfortable and the living area met our needs. We used the outdoor gas grill one night to cook steaks purchased from the Trading Post and they came out quickly and perfectly! There were grounds keepers and other staff constantly tending to the property...they even changed our air filter while we were there (regularly scheduled maintenance, not prompted by us). The view was decent but there are four units that directly face the bay which I'm sure would be spectacular for sunsets. We did visit the larger property for a drink and the beach was massive! The property is really great, but sad to say the service at the pool bar left something to be desired. It seemed that the bar tenders knew some of the regulars and were less attentive to us (just an observation). We stayed for about an hour and left due to the less attentive service. All in all -- would stay again...and fill the cooler and drink bayside.

"Roomy Townhouse on Pretty Bay"
09/05/15 Famo4Philly_PA Philadelphia, PA
After spending time in Key West, we stayed two nights at the Islander Bayside on our way up to Miami. Pluses: It was nice to spread out in the middle of a 10 day trip, cook in (grill by the pool), do laundry, watch stunning sunsets and lay in a hammock under a gentle breeze. While small, the kids loved the pool even more than the ones at the sister property. Minuses: Townhouse is a bit dark (not much natural light), torches weren't lit the second night and we were eaten alive by mosquitoes and a broken chair never replaced. We did enjoy time at the sister property one afternoon. Live music by the pool and the ocean water was simply stunning. All in all, we were satisfied with the views, value and downtime in Islamorada as the Islander Bayside delivered on what we needed for a couple of days during a great summer vacation.

"Home away from Home"
07/20/15 designer109 Stuart, Florida
We are huge Key West Fans and we visit it every year. This year we decided to change to Islamorada because of the distance from our home in Stuart. Traffic is heavy on Weekends so keep that in mind I booked this resort based on its location and what it had to offer. We like the fact that there is two bedrooms and it gives my children their own space. We stayed six nights and really enjoyed our stay. We were given unit 111 which is close to the water and next to the marina where we kept our boat. The staff was great about making sure we had the best spot for our boat since it was the max size you can have there which is 25 feet. We had not problem getting our boat in and out of the marina. The issue for us was finding a place for our extra car and trailer. If you visit during the week when it is not busy you can ask to park a second car on spot. We arrived late because of traffic and there is a number you can call to arrange for your trailer however we found room at the Islander Ocean side. They were kind to let us do that but I guess it is not the normal place to keep it. We also had our service dog and he loved it as much as we do however the unit we were in was not usually Pet friendly. House keeping is an additional fee of 25.00 per day. Really all we needed was housekeeping when we checked out. I can make my own bed. Beds were very comfortable. Bedrooms are small but fine. Staying 6 nights I like to unpack but there is no room for dressers in these rooms. Could suggest nightstands with drawer space would help. Our unit was 2 bedroom and 1 and 1/2 bath. Next time going to book a two bedroom with two full baths. When we checked in the kitchen was really low on utensils and since we eat in 1/2 of the time I would suggest making a list of what you think you will need and give it to the front desk. They are great and will get you what you need. The one thing that is in need of desperate repair is the furniture downstairs. It is small and completely uncomfortable. Ours was stained and ripped. We like to watch television in the evening as a family and could not get comfortable enough to sit together. There are three televisions in the unit. The internet was spotty and did not work in my children's room. Our dryer did not work but was handled as soon as we let them know. We brought our own boat and pat boards which was great. Perfect place for all of that. They do have some you can use at the beach. Pool was never really busy. Good size. it would be nice to have a place to get out of the sun around the pool. All and all just loved this place. It is close to everything and so nicely done. We are booking for next year.

"Key West style condo with resort amenities at sister property"
06/20/15 Julie N
This is the Bayside property of the famous Islander Resort on Islamorada in the keys. Cute, comfortable two bedroom condo with full kitchen and a swimming pool. It's on the bayside so you can bring in a small runabout. The Islander is on the beach with all the resort amenities. We were there for a wedding and only two nights. Wish we'd had more time. Islamorada is a nice key with grocery, drugstores, lots of shops and great restaurants. Not as commercialized as Marathon and only an hour and a half from Miami airport.

"Where is the hot water?"
04/17/15 Phillip L Culver, Indiana
No hot water in main building - laundry gets first dibs. Couldn't figure out why we had no hot water from noon until midnight. Maintenance didn't know? Front desk didn't know? Maid knew. Laundry was at the other end of the building as were the hot water heaters. Laundry lady starts at noon and goes to late night depending on volume. If you go there just don't stay in the main building up front, particularly the south end. Those rooms are the farthest from the water heaters. Guy Harvey should invest in some equipment rather than just add a fresh coat of paint, slap his name on the sign and raise prices because it is now a Guy Harvey Outpost!

"A good family place in Islamorada"
04/15/15 fstone542 Seattle
The townhomes have a great floor plan with a full kitchen, two bedrooms, and two baths. Perfect for a family stay. The bedrooms a little small, and the kitchen could use a few more items. The place has a nice pool and BBQ area. We had a great stay here.

"nice place down in islamorada"
04/06/15 BuffaloTex Buffalo
the bayside resort is the bay-side half of the islander resort. it is about a mile east from the islander. we were there with family (2 10-year olds) for spring break. these are two bedroom places with a first floor kitchen and small den. we found those totally fine. we walked to dinner most nights but cooked breakfast and one dinner there. kitchen was clean and decently stocked. the bed rooms upstairs were nice but too small and did not have any cabinets or drawers so it was difficult to put stuff away. there are two king beds. one king and two twins would have made more sense given the small space upstairs. there was a nice pool area and grill. you can use the islander facilities, and we did. the positives are the location and clean, cute accommodations, the negatives are small bed rooms.

"Short, relaxing and very low key family get away"
03/18/15 Caryn G
Best location!! Walking distance to many local restaurants and shops. All units have a water view obviously the closer to the water the better the view and the further from the main road the less noise. We stayed here because we needed to bring 2 family dogs on vacation with us. We would totally come back again. Our unit was very clean, the grounds are very well kept and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Although we had full access to the resort which is just up the road, aside from having a large beach I liked the bayside resort much better. Bayside was at full capacity and all the quest where friendly. There were nightly bbq's by the pool. We came down with a boat which we were able to keep just a few steps away. Kitchen was stocked with everything we need but nothing over the top. Beds are comfortable and I slept great!
