I feel bad writing this, because the people were nice, but I asked for a quiet room (needed to catch up on sleep), and they gave me a room facing a noisy street. Furthermore, the air conditioning never really worked, and the room was very muggy. All in all, I couldn't sleep, and my skin was sticky the whole night :(

I was looking for a cheap one night add on to a business trip and found a room here. The toilet was clean, and they were nice to me. However, when I was leaving, I asked the office manager to call me a taxi. I waited for about 15 minutes, and an unmarked car came. He took me my desired 1.6 miles and said "$15". I handed him my credit card and he said […] "No credit card". That was the first flag. The second flag was he wouldn't give me a receipt. Nice flat screen TV, small parking lot, hot water with plenty of pressure, clean room with minimal but adequate amenities. 1/2 mile walking distance to Target and restaurants. This was a basic hotel with no frills. But it was clean and served it's purpose.

The room was not great but it was not bad at all. The only thing that bugged me, (as a girl) there was only one mirror and it was tiny! Plus the floors needed to be cleaned. Other than that I like the room.

First of all parking is not enough for the rooms they have so we did not dare leave to get dinner but just walked around the area. The room is so dirty, the floor had hair, the walls had splatter and stains. This place is not maintained nor cleaned. Disappointing is an understatement.

The hotel/motel swimming pool is under construction. It is located in the parking lot with all the rooms surrounding it. The jack hammering, drilling and chipping away at the concrete starts at 9:30 a.m. and doesn't stop until 4:00 p.m. everyday. The construction noise is so loud that it actually vibrates the rooms. Additionally, the TV in our room […] did not work at all. We told the front desk and they told us to use another input selection on the TV, which we did and still the TV did not work. They did nothing to fix it the two days we were there. The phone in the room also did not work, so we were unable to call the front desk at all. We told the front desk manager about the phone not working and there was no attempt to fix that either. The reason we selected this hotel is because we were there for an event at the Staples Center which is about 2 miles away. Approximately 45 minutes before the event we asked the front desk to call us a cab. We waited almost 30 minutes and then we find out that they called one of their friends instead of a taxi service. The front desk tried to tell us that he was a "private" taxi . We refused to go with him and then had to wait an additional 20 minutes for a real taxi to show up, which made us late for our event. I stayed here in order to catch a concert at The Staples Center. It's not the most fabulous place, but for the price & convenient location to downtown, it was well worth it. It was fairly clean, had a functional A/C, cable TV & a fridge. Don't expect to take a dip in the pool... it's under construction.

Please note that there is no water in the pool, and the picture of the website shows water in the pool. I didn't check to see when the pool would be fixed. The location is great although the block next door is a vacant lot full of garbage. But this literally is the cheapest reasonable hotel downtown. The breakfast is fine .

If you are a last minute traveler, you are better looking else where. after a long haul and looking forward to a nice bed; this is not the place. the beds are horible and lacking comfort. continental breakfast is great, light and healthy.

I was looking for a room for my family of five at the last minute near downtown L.A. This room was just what we were looking for. Reasonable price, close to downtown and clean. It's basic hotel, though, so no frills here. I just needed a decent place to stay, so that was fine with me. I would stay again.

the hotel was located in a decent area, and very close to downtown. we walked to staples center in about 15 mins. the staff were very friendly and accommodating, rooms are nice, clean, and overall good stay. i would stay again.

Soft beds, simple but good breakfast. TV + WiFi worked well. Had some ants in my bathroom. Nothing fancy, but fine for a night or two if you're on sightseeing in LA.

A surprisingly clean, affordable and convenient hotel. The immediate surroundings are not much to speak of (although the community around the hospital nearby on Wilshire Blvd. is nice), but the location near downtown, cleanliness and price can't be beat. I will be staying here again on my next visit.

my boyfreind and i stayed there over the weekend. The hotel was different and we liked it until it casme to go to sleep. the floor must be really thing there becuase the people above use were running around the room from 11pm when we went to sleep until 9am the next morning...no joke. it sounded like stomping and moving furniture all night long. i called […] in right before i went to sleep and the night shift manager assured me he would call them and ask the to be quiet. at 1am my boyfreind and to call again and he said the same thing. i was finally woken up again at 7am with a loud thud hitting the floo above us and again the manager said he'd call them. when i went up to check out the next morning the woman working told me she wouldnt be able to do anything to since "they attempted to call them and ask them to be quiet and she cant control who walks around" she said if they made no attempts to fix the problem then they would be able to do somthing!!! i asked her why they never once offered to witch me rooms aand give me a different one and she had no answer for me. this was a horrible experience for me and id never recommend this hotel to anyone Read more

I was here for a half marathon race and asked for late check out on the day of the race. They initially gave me until 11 but I insisted there was no way i'd finish the race AND get back to the hotel/shower/etc by 11. The finally said they would let me check out at 12. This motel (motor inn) suited my needs in terms of cost and location. The breakfast was pretty basic (cereal and wrapped danishes). It is 2 block from the 7th street metro hub. An easy 10 minute walk to the LA convention centre. The staff were courteous and helpful. The room had a mini fridge, microwave and ironing board. There was a computer in the […] lobby with internet. Die Zimmer sind stark abgewohnt . Beim prüfen ob der Netzstecker des Kühlschranks in der Steckdose ist , musste ich den Kühlschrank etwas verschieben.
