Settlers Motel - Hanmer Springs

I booked this hotel on a short leisure trip. Great value, service and location - on a quiet street but just opposite the spa and hot springs. Perfect!

Great place to stay within easy walking distance to pools and all amenities. The fact that the rate was all inclusive, meaning wireless access, Towels for the pools, Laundry, DVD library and 2 of the nicest hosts in the South Island made our 2 night stay most pleasurable. Good, old fashioned, decent service. Thanks so much.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Settlers Motel. The room was not large, but had everything what we needed. Very tidy, clean, comfortable and decorated with style. The Only minus was the toiletries motel is offering... Shampoo & Conditioner useless, would be nice for once to have shampoo and conditioner that actually do the job (Clean and condition […] hair properly).Otherwise eveyrthing was perfect, would certainly stay again! I arrived very late, and our hosts had kindly left the room open for us so I could just slip in and go to sleep after our long, long drive. The room itself has absolutely everything you could need for a stay, and I wish that I could have had the standard of accommodation everywhere we stayed on our month long journey. The bed, shower, and amenities […] were fantastic - but though those were good the experience was really made something special by the hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they provided friendly advice on where to go and what to see while in Hamner. The studio apartment was a good size with high quality furnishings, a well equipped kitchenette, flat screen TV and DVD player. Complimentary DVDs were available from reception. The comfortable king size bed was decorated with a beautiful woven merino wool throw rug. Large bathroom with good quality toiletries and a great shower stall. Settlers Motel […] is situated in a side street off the main road so there is little noise. It is a five minute walk to the town centre and hot springs. We thoroughly recommend an afternoon at the hot springs for relaxation and rejuvenation. Nothing like soaking in a 42C hot pool with drizzle or snow falling around your ears. Additional complimentary towels were available from reception for use at the hot springs. reception staff were very friendly and provided good information on walks around the town and surrounding countryside. Ett litet lugnt och personligt motell med hög standard, servicevänlig personal och rena, mycket fräscha rum av hög standard. Vi blev mycket postivt överraskade. Gångavstånd till badet, restauranger och butiker. Servicen på hotellet var utöver det vanliga, så vi rekommenderar varmt detta motell.
