The Hotel was clean and comfortable. Wi-Fi was free in the lobby. It was a short walk from where the airport bus dropped us off and shopping/restaurants. Most of the tourist spots are a bit farther, but still very walkable.

The Ardmore is a clean, modern hotel that has power showers and staff that are friendly. The food served is well prepared and affordable. For the money it can't be beat, but if you want nice pillows, soft towels& cozy bedding then you should spend the extra money to get them. Those of us who prefer value over the little "extras" would love this hotel. The 15 minute bus ride into downtown wasn't bad unless you JUST missed the bus and have to wait another twenty minutes to get on. It is a great location for a first night into Dublin or your last because it is only 15 minutes to the airport!

Very pleasant. We stayed directly in temple bar 3 nights before and wanted one night of quiet before we left. Receptionist was extremely helpful and even mailed a postcard for me so I wouldn't have to walk. Would stay again.
Location.
Situated in Straffan, The K Club is conveniently near the airport and area attractions include Castletown House, St. Patrick's College, and Maynooth National Science Museum. Additional area attractions include Maynooth Castle and Mondello Park.
Hotel Features.
The K Club has a full-service spa, a golf course, and a health club. Complimentary wireless Internet access is available in public areas. This 5-star hotel features business amenities including a 24-hour business center, small meeting rooms, and limo/town car service. The hotel offers 4 restaurants along with a coffee shop/café and a bar/lounge. The staff can arrange tour/ticket assistance, wedding services, and event catering. Additional amenities at this Victorian property include an indoor pool, a rooftop terrace, and a spa tub. Guest parking is complimentary. The property may provide extended parking privileges to guests after check-out (surcharge).

Rooms have garden views. The 92 guestrooms at The K Club include CD players and safes. Beds have Frette Italian sheets, down comforters, and down blankets. Pillow menus are available. I only need to use two words to review this hotel--absolutely fabulous ( in every respect ).
"The k club - better in the crash"
A unique hotel - lobby level room with 12 foot high ceiling (top floor rooms less appealing) - friendly helpful staff - great restaurant - picturesque grounds - great value since the Celtic crash - well worth considering
