I was there on business and I was literally in the hotel for about 2 hrs total! My mom and daughter were there much more than I was...but the room was clean and beds pretty comfy! We were in the new side and it was very nice!

After viewing all the other reviews, I selected this hotel. What a pleasant surprise. Restaurant for dinner is pricey but worth it. The breakfast (by voucher) is way above what you would normally see on a breakfast buffet.Will definitely stay at Best Western Plus again. White Spot Restaurant across the street is upscale and food is wonderful.

Nice hotel, people, and atmosphere. The continental breakfast was more than continental. The room was modern with an air system that was quiet and kept the room at the correct temperature. I will use the Mettera for all of my trips to Edmonton from now on.

Located in Edmonton (West Edmonton Mall), Courtyard by Marriott Edmonton West is close to West Edmonton Mall, Galaxyland, and World Waterpark. Additional area attractions include Fort Edmonton Park and University of Alberta.

Very nice hotel with an awesome front desk staff - couldn't have asked for better service. The room was nicely decorated and quiet. Only one minor recommendation: provide self-serve coffee throughout the day rather than until 11:00 a.m.

Staff was exceptionally friendly. Each staff member I bumped into would ask if I was having a great stay and if there was anything they could do to help. The hotel is new so the furnishings and decor is fresh and in clean condition. The coupon for 10% off youe meals, except breakfast and alcohol was useless, but they tried. Lobby was spacious and open […] with the business center in the open rather than stuffed into an unused room that you have to access with a keycard. We found the service was good. Hotel is very clean. Only downside, we were surprised at how small the pool was!

"Little gem"
Marriot has made attention to little details to perfection from 'Airline check in counter with printer' to mini library, beside 3 computers with internet access to large sitting area to open concept 'In-house' Restaurant. Room is large with mini refrigerator. None of those stocked refrigerator that I mostly do not take advantage.

"Great!"
I was recommended to stay at a local older hotel and was worried but then I saw this and tried it out. It was really good and the Lamb Osobuko was really good at the lobby restaurant.

Was very impressed super clean and extremely friendly staff and very helpfull. Close to west Ed and most restaurant .hotel very up to date. There was one issue with the partyers ocross the hall but the staff we're on it emeditly and did compensate up . Book my next stay before I left . Beautiful, clean, quiet hotel with a hot pool. Couldn't ask for anything more. Location is easy to get to and very accommodating staff. Will definitely stay there again.

I was extremely satisfied with the overall look and feel of the hotel. The room was very clean and looked great, there was special attention showed to details. The staff was helpful and fast in response. I would recommend this hotel to anyone!

"Beautiful hotel close to West Edmonton Mall"
My husband and I were making a weekend out of West Edmonton Mall. I booked the courtyard because it looked very nice in the pictures and was advertised close to the mall. It was all that and more. Very beautiful and chic decor throughout. The customer service was superb:) The fellow checking us in took us on a little tour of the main lobby and told […] us everything we would need for our stay. Close enough to walk to the mall if you don't mind a 40 minute walk. The hotel is new and on my wife enjoyed our bedroom. She called it trendy. Our room had a king size bed.

"Marriot marvelous"
During our recent stay at the Courtyard Marriot in Edmonton, I can only say that the hotel and the staff made our brief stay very enjoyable. Friendly, knowledgable staff, and a clean modern hotel room and dining room. Everything was first class, just what a person expects when booking a hotel room. Highly recommended.

Wow! We only needed to stay 1 night, but wished we could stay longer. Excellent hotel with wonderful staff. It was so nice to have the music playing upon entering into our very clean & beautiful room. The huge computer screen & area to print out flight passes was nice. The staff was wonderful. Will definitely stay there again. :)
"Courtyard Edmonton by Marriott West - poor access"
This hotel was quite nice, new and well maintained but I have two main complaints. The first is that access to the hotel is absurd and will be until the finish the construction along the Anthony Hendy road. It is also inconveniently located on a one way street so going to the hotel from anywhere in the south (ie. West Edmonton Mall) is a huge pain. […] Secondly, our reservation was booked and it indicated that there was a "continental breakfast" however that was not the case. When I mentioned to the concierge that our booking listed it, he was quite defensive and rude in reply. It is a great hotel to stay, room is very clean and it only takes five minutes to get to West Edmonton Mall. With this price you could not find elsewhere.

The check in was seamless and the staff were very nice. The room was a king suite, and a bit on the smaller side, but being a brand new hotel, of course the room was spotless and very comfortable. The restaurant served healthier options and Starbucks goods, for those that are fans.

Enjoyed our stay at the Courtyard Marriot, easy to get to in a good location. Loved the decorating, very comfortable and modern design, nice finish quality. The pool is a little small but other than that we loved everything about it! Lots of nice little extras included too. We highly recommend it.

Lovely new hotel with comfortable rooms and beds. Nice decor. Staff friendly and helpful. We were in Edmonton to attend the U2 concert Unfortunately our sleep was interrupted at 4 am by false fire alarm. We only just got to bed at 2:30 and had to be on the road by 7 am. "Courtyard by Marriott West close to W.E.M."
The hotel staffs are all courteous not just the front desk personnel. The room is very clean and comfortable. However, parking is a bit of a problem. I had to park on the adjacent hotel parking lot. Other than that we were happy to stay there, and we'll do it again. Thanks for making our stay enjoyable.

This was our first time at this Marriot Hotel (as it is relatively new!) and we were very impressed. The service was great, all the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a nice size and clean, and the overall layout of the hotel, eating area & lobby was very aesthetically pleasing. The hotel was very new and clean. The rooms were spacious and quiet (despite the hockey team staying down the hall). We really enjoyed this hotel.
Nice hotel. Travelled with two small children. They loved the pool even though it was really small. The hot tub was nice and roomy. Firm beds allowed for a nice sleep and no traffic noise. Very clean motel and rooms are fairly roomy. No free breakfast......a bit of a bummer when you travel with kids although they did have a small restaurant in the lobby […] area. Walmart supercentre across the street and only a couple of blocks from lots of restauraunts. Would stay here again but not before checking to see if the Hampton by Hilton had room. "Very nice and clean"
This was a great hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and it is obvious that this is a new hotel. They have free coffee in the morning but I would recommend you splurge and buy the starbucks coffee that they sell at their bistro. "Coutyard Edmonton by Edmonton West"
This is a brand new hotel so it is always nice to be in something new. That said, if I owned that hotel, I would be upset at the poor workmanship in the building, in particular the carpet. The carpet was laid right over the ceramic floor stop at the bathroom entrance, thus leaving an unfinished edge of carpet and a deceptive bump in the carpet. I also […] noticed that the seaming of the carpet in the foyer was terrible. Also, I found it rather inconvenient that the only mirrors in the room were in the washroom. It made it difficult for everyone to get ready in the morning. The rest of the room was fine although I found the beds fairly average as far as how comfortable they were. The pool is small and the location is rather lacking as far as scenery goes. That said, the proximity to the West Edmonton Mall is good. The hotel shares a parking lot with the Hampton and so the parking is a bit tight. I would hate to be trying to find a parking spot if both hotels were full. Overall the staff was pleasant and helpful. I had issues with the resturaunt and in the end they refused to fix my meal (they had given me something that wasn't even on the menu!). I did get the money back but didn't eat either. The hotel was very clean and very new and modern looking. Great location if you're going to WEM.

This hotel just opened in January 2011 and it shows. It is all brand new and clean. The Staff is fantastic and friendly. The food at the Bistro is excellent and reasonably priced. There is a Wal-Mart, Tim Hortons, Subway located accross 184 St; however if you do not have a vehicle it is a bit of a walk. It is approximately a 5 minute drive to West Edmonton […] Mall.
