We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and were glad to find a hotel right in the heart of Times Square. The service was definitely top notch! The front desk was courteous and the concierge was very helpful, recommending great shows and restaurants. Our room was nice. It could've been a little larger. But the bathroom was a good size and the size of the TV's and the fact that they played HD was a bonus. Also, the bed was quite comfortable. The cleaning staff did a fine job of keeping up the room. I'll definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Finding a "GOOD THING" these days can get harder and harder. For this reason when you come across a 'good thing" it is priceless. One of the most recent "good things " that I have come across is the PARAMOUNT hotel in Times Square. The first thing that I leave the hotel impressed by is the professionalism and commitment that is demonstrated by the staff. Starting with the front desk where I was checked in by Catherine and continuing until the driver which I received at the hotel hands me my luggage at the airport. Catherine followed the details of my visit until the moment I checked out. The only dislike that I had which eventually i got over was the view of the alley where the boiler or some loud machine was placed. I know that from now on I will request a room that faces anywhere but there. If you are going to New York and plan on taking in Broadway there could not be a more perfect location. I love this hotel so much I find myself wanting to travel to NYC more. I cannot wait until my next visit to the PARAMOUNT which I hope will be in the next few weeks.

Very nice hotel, within walking distance to subway for access to Manhattan (take the 7 or E and you can get to grand central, times square, penn station). Just a few blocks to local restaraunts. The room was very clean, excellent staff, free shuttle to subway. Overall an excellent place to stay if your touring new york city. One note, if you are considering a "view room" save your money, the view is obstructed by a number of taller buildings (the hotel is only 7 floors). Overall an excellent experience and I would definitely stay again, especially at the rate because of the new hotel discount. If you plan to take a cab from the hotel call one yourself because the service the hotel uses charges a flat rate to specific areas and you can get a cab on your own for cheaper generally.

Very nice hotel in the theatre district. Friendly and helpful staff. Basic room accomodations but very clean. Would recommend.
Location.
Located in New York (SoHo - Tribeca), Courtyard by Marriott New York Manhattan/SoHo is close to New York City Fire Museum, New York University, and Brooklyn Bridge. Also nearby are Empire State Building and World Trade Center - Ground Zero.

"Great place to stay no matter where you go in Ny"
Do you ahve a meeting near central park? in Soho, in Walls Street? in the north, east, west, south? Does not matter, this is the cleanest, friedliest hotel in Ny. I travel a lot and i love to stay in their clean bedrooms... nothing like a very clean bedroom in NY... listen: it is great! do not hesitate! Book it!

"Great location, great staff ... great hotel"
Once again Courtyard by Marriott scores highly where it matters most - its people and its location. We were welcomed home whenever we returned from our rambles with gracious words and smiles. Everyone was so friendly and ready to help with information and service. The location is at the most northwestern edge of SoHo, but the subway is very close and […] if your feet can't get you there a taxi will. The small cafe serves only breakfast or an evening light snack, but everything was well-priced and delicious. The only issue we had was that the elevator got stuck on checkout ... we were able to open the door, so thumpity-thump with the luggage down 6 flights of stairs ... but, hey, it's just another story about our great stay in NYC. "courtyard by marriot NYC/Soho location"
I gave most categories a "3" rating due to the following problems. IF you have no problem with noise, then this is a fine hotel: new and attractive design, attentive & knowledgeable front desk staff. There are only 7 rooms per floor: four fronting varick street (which is a major thoroughfare leading to the holland tunnel and is extremely loud at all […] hours), two adjacent to the slightly loud elevator (you can hear the chimes every time the elevator lands on your floor) and one room that is hidden in the back airwell (it is a double, and you should request it if you can!). even with earplugs the rooms on the street are unbearably loud. subway is right below hotel, so transportation is very good and you are only 10 minutes from the center of either soho, the village, or bike/jogging paths along the hudson river. This hotel was amazing! We really enjoyed the service and location of the hotel! One night when we were leaving, the hotel staff at the front desk informed us it was going to rain and gave us a few umbrellas before we left! When we got home that night, and wanted a drink before bed, they opened the wine cooler, got us glasses and were totally helpful! […] The staff was by far the best service I have received at the hotel. Also, the location was really great too! "Our courtyard stay"
The lobby was a bit dissapointing in decor, seating capacity, wall decoration and the trees in front of the hotel were dead Reception was professional, the room was comfortable, TV a great size and we loved the fact that the room was quiet and totally sound proof we would definately recommend the hotel to our friends and stay there again

stayed 5/4-5/6. I am very picky. I don’t like NY hotels. But I loved the Courtyard by Marriot at Soho! Loved everything about it. Super well located. The metro station is across the street. Taxis from Time Square charge you only $10. Great place. Super friendly staff. Clean. More than clean, spotless. Impeccable. Very impressive. It seems to be fairly […] new or just re-furnished because it is in impeccable conditions. I go to NY at least 3 times a year and I will stay in this hotel in my future travels, regardless of where in NY I’ll meet people. Loved it. Don’t doubt it. You’ll not complain paying for this one. "Nicest staff in NYC"
Stay here on business and love the hotel. THE nicest most professional and helpful staff I have experienced in a long time. They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. Restaurants nearby are great. Subway on corner. Beds are very comfy. Good wifi.

Opened in November 2010, this Courtyard has done a great job hiring staff. They have a team of the friendliest, most energetic and upbeat people I've ever encountered in a hotel. my only negative feedback is regarding the availability of vegetarian and gluten-free breakfasts. there was yogurt and oatmeal (which was very good and generous serving. however the egg choices were limited. the marketplacel really just had "junk food snacks" The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the bed was very comfortable and the room was […] very clean and always prepared when we returned from our touring. the rooms were quiet and there was always hot water for showers and lots of towels. would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in that area of the city. "Great location, at a great price"
The Courtyard Merriott was located in the perfect area for my visit. Great price considering the location. Nice and helpful hotel staff. Room was a bit small, but I hear it's bigger than some in NY. It was fine since I was only there to sleep and shower. I'd definitely stay again if I go back to NY.
Extreamly Dissapointed For a Marriot Hotel which I HAVE stayed in over the past 40 years it was the worst ever. One could not walk around the bed one small double bed . I asked if it had 2 beds when I BOOKED. i stayed at Marriot in Hawai the rooms are 6 times bigger and all Marriots I Have stayed in before had 2 Queen size Bebs. .Reception Staff Rude […] I GOT ONE Name David Alexander. Um hotel novo, muito bom, o pessoal do hotel são muito gentis e atenciosos, o quarto não é grande mas de bom tamanho, sempre muito limpo, na esquina tem uma estação de metro, mesmo não tendo café da manhã no hotel, não tem problema, em toda a esquina, ele fica no meio da quadra, há lugar para vc fazer um. Restaurantes tem varios por perto, espanhol, […] italiano, brasileiro. O hotel é bem localizado. Passamos 1 semana e ficaríamos mais. Tem frigobar no quarto que a pessoa abastece com que quiser, cafeteira. Ganska nybyggt hotell mitt i smeten med nära till många bra klädbutiker i Soho och en t-bana rakt över gatan. Bra personal, trådlöst Internet och ett gym som är öppet 24/7 med flaskvatten och nytvättade handdukar som uppskattat komplement. "Super Hotel für SoHo / Downtown"
Das Hotel ist neu, sauber, ruhig und gut gelegen. 5 Minuten ins Zentrum von SoHo respetive ins Village. Die Zimmer sind - für NY Verhältnisse - recht geräumig. Das Personal an der Reception ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
