Having stayed at the Landis Hotel in Taipei, I expected Icon to offer the same service quality or better. After checking in, no one bothered to show us to our room and introduce us to the facilites available. I booked a harbor view room for an increased price. Sure there was a view of the harbor, if you looked to the left side. Directly outside my window was the rooftop of the mall. The concierge was helpful. I had one meal at the lobby cafe. My mom ordered a chowder in bread bowl. The bread came out toasted with green mold!! How did they miss that?! Killed our appetites immediately! I've read comments comparing Icon to the Four Seasons. One of our travel companions stayed there and I had an opportunity to rest in her room during our long afternoons in Hong Kong island. The hotel is impeccable and there was definitely no mold in our food.

Decent size room for Hong Kong. Definitely not huge but plenty big enough. Nice bathroom. Perfect Kowloon location. Clean and nice

Situated in the heart of Shenzhen, Hedong Citycenter Hotel is close to Shun Hing Square, International Foreign Trade Center, and Shenzhen Grand Theater. Also nearby are Shenzhen Museum and Lizhi Park.
Hotel Features.
Wireless Internet access is complimentary in public areas. This 3-star hotel features business amenities including a business center, a technology helpdesk, and technology support staff. The staff can arrange concierge services, tour/ticket assistance, and event catering. Additional amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, room service (during limited hours), and dry cleaning/laundry services. Guest parking is complimentary, and available on a limited first-come, first-served basis. Nearby parking is available for a surcharge. The property may provide extended parking privileges to guests after check-out (surcharge).
Guestrooms.
Rooms have city views. The 105 air-conditioned guestrooms at Hedong Citycenter Hotel include slippers and hair dryers. Guests can use the in-room complimentary wired high-speed Internet access. 21-inch flat-panel televisions are equipped with cable channels. All accommodations provide desks and direct-dial phones. Bathrooms offer shower/tub combinations with deep soaking bathtubs, handheld showerheads and rainfall showerheads, and bidets.
Additional amenities include windows that open and blackout drapes/curtains. In addition, amenities available on request include refrigerators and irons/ironing boards. Housekeeping is offered weekly. Renovation of all guestrooms was completed in June 2009.

"Hotel You Can't Find"
Stayed for 4 days. Terrible time looking for the hostel/hotel once arrived, not even the taxi people knows where it is eventhough it was 5-10 mins drive from Shenzhen MRT. Doesn't really have a guest room to go online, relax or meet people. Room doesn't have outlet adaptor for U.S. plug, so I asked the staff where I could plug my laptop, one male staff […] told me to use the one on the lobby stairs, can't believe! I had to sit on the lobby stairs to go online while people walk up and down, that was horrible and embarrassing! Read more
"The hedong City centre hotel - not at all in city"
the hotel has a very very old furniture in the rooms and hot waters in bathroom is not at all hot all the time. there is no concierge services offered by the hotel. but it is value for money what you are paying for. For comfort of the room I am dissatisfied. no proper lighting and no complimentary bottle of water.

Finding the hotel was a little tricky but once we found it, it was ok. Surrounding area a little run down but inside was alright.

"Hotel"
Todo muy bien, calidad precio inmejorable. Limpio. Lo único a tener en cuenta es que los colchones son muy duros y que el personal del hotel prácticamente no habla ingles.

"Hedong city center hotel - shenzhen"
A nice place to stay, for a cheap amount of money. The hotel has a nice staff, somewhat lacking in the english skills. Even so, they were very helpful with telling the taxi drivers where we wanted to go. The rooms are ok in size, and the bathroom is good. Beds are abit to hard, but it is what you get for the price. Some big malls near the hotel, which […] you easily can spend a whole day, with all the international branded shops. PS! Remeber to always take a certified taxi, as there are several fake taxi drivers, taking 10 times the price of a taxi. Taxi's are cheap in Shenzhen. Read more
"Très bon rapport qualité prix"
Hôtel situé en plein centre ville proche de toutes commodités, proche du grand centre commercial électronique de Shenzhen. Personnel sympa, à l'écoute de toutes vos demandes. Tarifs très intéressant par rapport à la situation de l'hôtel. Seul bémol la literie pas très fraiche, mais propre.
