"Absolutely not recommended"
Nakalay not ideal situated. Next to noisy road. Very hard bed. TV and safe did not work in apartment. Softer bed option was availible according to reception, only after we complained, as it was not offered to us during check in as well. Shutlle service fell well short of the demand and you cannot be guaranteed a seat on thea next pickup. We saw bunches of guests left behind at Twin Sands. 1 night stayed of the 7 booked.
"Peaceful, quite friendly staff member"

We stayed here for a week, wasn't happy with our room but the quickly changed us ASAP. It's quite and peaceful away from the town centre however there's a shuttle bus that takes you into town. Rooms are cleaned everyday, the have a good take out services as we'll if you need one. It's a good place/ location if you want a quiet area. Yes there's no beach but you are only a few minutes away from the beach. Definitely worth staying in cause most of the day you are out and about. If you want a perfect beach heard to simi land, it's a days trip a bus picks you from 6:30 then on a speed boat to different islands. Worth the trip, the food in the local town is good, there's a restaurant called number 6, the are cheap and cook excellent food for a good price. Don't go in the shopping mall the are too expensive.

Hotel in middle of nowhere, with inconvenient shuttle bus times and the tuk tuk mafia prices if you can't use the shuttle. No beach access at all as surrounding landowners have blocked it off. Restaurant choice of meals was 6 different paninis or 3 salads (not what I go to Thailand for) and last orders at 7:30pm. Breakfast choice was even more limited. Swimming pool very small and no hotel grounds to speak of. No outside restaurants within reasonable walking time and main road busy and dark at night. However, rooms are good, well equipped and clean and the staff are friendly and helpful.

Loved this place. The fact that we were upgraded to the Penthouse suite might have influenced how much I enjoyed my stay. ( worthwhile being a member of Classic Escapes) Close to the main action of Patong beach but situated in the quieter suburb Kamala. Perfect for a relaxing time while still enjoying the benefits of the busy shopping and night life area of Patong.
"No Beach Resort"

There are no beaches in the walking distance, shuttle bus can take you to the nearest beaches of Kamala and Surin but with odd timing, mostly we had to go or return by tuk tuk. More frequent shuttle service to Patong. Swimming pool was green then we arrived and even then it was cleaned there is too much chloride in the pool. Staff can only be friendly if bribed by tips otherwise are not attentive. Do not rely on dining at resort food is not good and expensive, we always had two other options - cooking in the apartment or eating outside resort. I agree with the rest of reviews in terms of cleanliness and comfort of apartments. It was really peaceful and quite at all times on seaside. I will miss the sound of the sea and wild bushes next door.
"Great Place, but the name needs updating."

What a great place! About a 10 minute or so tuk tuk or shuttle into Patong. Far enough away to be out of the hussle and bussle of town, and was actually really nice to be able to go in and get amongst it, and then have somewhere to retreat back to. No beach access at all, but a great pool with loungers which I thought was better as the sea was really rough. No beach access was made up for by the wee Bamboo Shack at the top of the hill, literally 2 minutes walk from the hotel. This place had spectacular views, perched on the edge of the cliffs and was really unpretentious and relaxed. Spent a lot of time there. Definitely worth a visit! The room was amazing, and well house kept, however the beds were extremely firm, and after a long active day and a deep sleep, you found tender places (not due to age.) There is a very busy road next to it, but you couldn't hear the road over the air con anyway, so wasn't an issue. Very polite staff, awful coffee, great food, drinks and everyone was so accommodating. It's about 700-900 THB for a taxi to the hotel from the airport, about a 40 minute drive. All and all a great place to stay.
"Somewhat misnamed but very pleasant resort"

There is no direct beach access at this resort so that might be an issue for some people - it suited me to be beside the pool with the sound of the sea close by! The hotel was a very pleasant place to stay. The shuttle service is good, although being in a group of 6 we often just went into Patong by tuk tuk (300 baht is the right price). There's a great unpretentious little bar at the top of the hill towards Patong, with a fabulous view of the bay. The beds were a bit too firm for my liking (several other guests commented on this also). The coffee was pretty awful too, but other food was good.

My husband and I stayed here from 12th-19th April 2014 and checked Tripadvisor for advise. As everyones holiday experience is different we kept an open mind to whatever we read. This resort is on a busy road but we didn't find it a problem at all whether we were on the balcony or in our room. As we had been at Absolute Twin Sands the previous week we were aware of the shuttle service so we took full advantage of that option. The shuttle was convenient as the traffic in Patong can be tricky although we did park there several times making sure we remembered where we had parked ! Having previous holidays in Phuket we hired a car to use when we needed to. We found Twin Brothers carpark was great for pleasant days relaxing on the beach with plenty of eating and drinking options available. We were able to enjoy the Songtran Festival, a must for visitors if possible as it makes you feel like you have no troubles(even if you're wet) and hopefully we'll have good fortune. It didn't bother us that there was no beach access as we drove to many of them anyway but it's a pity the local next door doesn't share his beautiful looking pier (viewed from different spots). We filled our kitchen with groceries from Tesco to do us during our stay as well as our 2 free bottles of Absolute water per day (same at Twin Sands) We found it relaxing away from our everyday stresses. All of the staff were friendly from Reception, house cleaning, poolside bar and shuttle drivers. I didn't like the glass coasters, cloth may be better as well as placemats (glass top tables). The room we stayed in had a large area behind the door, useful for a bag rack perhaps? Nothing that made our stay unpleasant, we'll visit both resorts again one day in the future.

We had a wonderful experience staying here! The staff was so friendly and of great assistance in booking our activities...on time shuttle service, advice on restaurants and the room a welcome retreat at night after a long hot day!

We are currently staying at this resort. There isn't access to the beach, but we are not beach lovers so this isn't a concern for us. The traffic can be noisy as it is a busy road, but we are located above the pool (3rd floor) and at night do not hear the traffic at all. Sleep very peacefully. The cicadas are noisy in the morning, but it is a bush setting. I love our view of coconut trees, the bay & the pier next door. Our room is huge and awesome, we are loving staying here. We have a kitchen, so we went to the Big C in Jungceylon and brought food, drinks etc as we knew there was no restaurant for dinner. Some nights we either catch the 3 pm or 6 pm shuttle and go for dinner and a look around Patong and then catch the 9.30 pm back. It has been no hassle and the 10 minute bus trip, no problem. We have stayed in Patong 2 years ago with the hustle & bustle, but we are enjoying being out of Patong this time. The staff and drivers have all been lovely and helpful. The room is cleaned daily and is spotless. There is an air-con in each room (which work beautifully) and a TV & DVD also in each room. If you are looking for somewhere relaxing to stay, out of busy Patong and not fussed about no beach access, then this is the place for you.
