This hotel looks right out onto Mt. St. Michelle and you have a perfect picture at all time. The servcie was excellent as was the food. To me it was worht every penny and the only hotel I would tell anyone to stay at if they are going there. To me it was an A plus !

I was looking for a hotel in Souillac, and this hotel came up as nearby. I had not taken the time to look at the area or do any reading--this was a spur of the moment trip. The hotel location is amazing, right on the side of the hill outside Rocamadour. The location is amazingly beautiful. In terms of visiting the cave paintings, canoeing in the Dordogne, it's a little bit of a drive. But, we were not in a hurry and really enjoyed traveling through the countryside. The room was simple, but all we needed. The bed was a little hard, and that's why I give it a 3 for comfort. But, I would highly recommend staying here to anyone who wants a reasonable rate, a beautiful location, wonderful hosts at the hotel and this general location.

The service here was wonderful, including speaking some English. Apartments were nice and pool/scenery were great. Good location close to wonderful tourist sites of Dordogne. Hotels.com didn't tell me I needed to bring sheets/towels however, so I was charged an additional 20 euros. You are also expected to clean the apartment before you leave.

Pleasant, small hotel right in the centre of Beynac. We ate in the hotel restaurant in the evening and it was excellent, one of the best meals of the... holiday. On the slight downside there is no parking provided and the car parks in the village are pay and display until 7pm - we arrived around this time so it caused no issue, but something to keep in mind. Room was smallish but looked recently decorated and with all of the amenities that you would expect for a hotel of this size. Overall, a good stay. Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 16, 2012

Very pleasant hotel and very helpful staff. Breakfast is copious with lots of coffee. Restaurant is very good and in a charming setting on the river bank. If restaurant is closed, try the restaurant (La Petite Tonnelle) just opposite the hotel - excellent, daily changing specials board with fantastic presentation of food and open seven days a week. […] Probably best not to go in February (as I did), however, as many tourist attractions closed in the area. Sarlat (10 km away) is a must see. Overall, a very pleasnant stay in a wonderful part of France. Read more
