The hotel was very nice, the food excellent, the room had air conditioning which was very welcome, the hotel arranged to have me picked up at the airport and brought straight to the hotel. Staff spoke English and I had no troubles at the hotel. The room was small, but clean and a nice shower and breakfast buffet was included in the price. The hotel […] was in the center of the city and only two streets from the main shopping area and restaurants were also nearby if you needed one. Pharmacy next door if needed, and the doorman was always on hand to open and close the door for when anyone is coming or going. "Small room"
Do realize that if you get an econo single it is only room for one person. But room and hotel were clean. Matress was most comfortable I've slept on in years. I'd recommend this hotel. A local negotiated taxi fare from the airport, 200gr down to 70. As of this date, don't pay more than 70gr to get there from the airport.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Hotels in Ukraine can be hit or miss but this one was decent, Clean, good service, comfortable bed(although my bed in the business class room was a single, but still ok), and room size was ok. excellent value for money, very good location minutes from main shopping area, very fine decor in public areas,rooms of a standard you'd expect from a 3 * hotel kept clean.no T&C facilities,but could ask for a kettle,had a mini bar in room but not filled with whole menu . Arriving late into Simferopol by plane the Ukraina Hotel was a very inviting place to stay the night. Old world style and courtesy greated us along with efficient checking-in and escorting to our room. The room was spacious and pleasant, the only thing missing - and important for me - was tea making facilities. I feel this convenience for travellers […] is a must. En positiv överraskning. Har vid olika tillfällen bott på både hotell och hyrt lägenhet vid vistelse i Ukraina och detta är utan tveka det bästa. Vackert och väl underhållet till skillnad från mycket annat i öst Europa. Centralt beläget och mycket prisvärt, förstår inte varför det är klassat endast som tre stjärnigt hotell. Wir waren mit diesem Hotel sehr zufrieden! Die Zimmer waren ansprechend eingerichtet, die Betten waren sehr gut. Es gibt internationales Fernsehprogramm, inkl. deutscher Programme. "Ukraina Simferopol - Old School Hotel Experience"
Ukraina is close to the centre, and building and common spaces are well maintained. Restaurant is open until midnight, and the interior in restaurant is Versailles-style with mirrors and candeliers. Staff spoke ok English both in the reception and restaurant. There were two doormen / guards standing at the front-door around the clock.
