We stayed in room 5. It had a secluded terrace and the most beautiful view of Trier in the valley below. The hotel staff was very friendly, and the room was clean. I would definitely stay again.

After two nights at the Maerchen Hotel we decided to extend one night, and they were very accommodating. We stayed in two different rooms--both with very different arrangements and decor--decidedly charming.. The fairy tail theme was used throughout--but was discreet and not over the top. We ate all three nights in the hotel--all great meals. The personalized service by the helpful, bilingual staff was very nice..

We really enjoyed our stay at this inn. It is located about 5 miles outside of Trier in vineyard country and is what you vision for a wine country inn. The room was clean and simply furnished. This hotel had the best TV and cable of any place we stayed in Germany during our week. What really made us happy with the hotel's wonderful outdoor dinning / bar area and the fact the hotel is located on a scenic 50KM walking- biking trail that runs along a stream surrounded by vineyards. The location of this hotel is great!

L'hôtel qui ne mérite pas ses 4 étoiles!La fenêtre cassée dans la chambre, le mobilier vieillot, l'environnement moche.Très déçue car je m'attendais à un hôtel impeccable surtout par rapport aux prix qui sont élevés.

goede kamer, alleen jammer dat het raam steeds dicht gedaan werd, want, hoewel het weer niet geweldig was, was de kamer erg warm. Bezienswaardigheden (voor ons) op loopafstand, er ging ook een bus.Uitstekend ontbijt.

sad i deres Biergarten efter at have kørt turen fra Danmark. tjenerne havde sikkert travlt, men de var ikke videre opmærksomme og maden var bestemt ikke noget at råbe hurra for. deres franske afdeling er sikkert bedre... værelset var dog dejlig stort og morgenmaden var såmænd også ok
