We were somewhat apprehensive about what we would find at a hotel we had not heard about, but what a surprise! The registration desk is right inside, the staff greets the visitor immediately, the interior is beautiful and peaceful. Fresh fruit is always available for the taking, and a bottle of natural mineral water awaits the tired, thirsty traveler […] in his / her room. The location was perfect for me, 5 min walk to the Koln central train station and Koln famous Dom and other attractions. Great location, two minutes walk from the train station and Dom. Five minutes in the other direction to 'the ring' full of bars and restaurants. Very helpful service. Rooms a little basic but no issue. Breakfast very high quality.

We had a lovely time when we stayed. Room was nice. Clean. We will defo be returning. Tea for 2 was a little on the expensive €9 for 2 pots of tea. No biscuit :(

The hotel is in a nice location. The staff was ver accomodating. However, the bathroom and bedroom had a peculiar smell to them. Make sure to reserve parking ahead of time because it is limited in space.

Don't be fooled by the pictures! We booked a double room and it was much smaller than advertised and shabby, no minibar, beds were very uncomfortable, terrible value for money overall, no fridge or coffee making facilities. Breakfast was average (horrible coffee) and things run out very quickly, they don't top up, you have to ask for everything. The […] room was dark, overlooking the inside shaft of the courtyard, with pigeons sleeping just outside the window. The internet connection was very unstable and took ages to connect. The only good thing is the location, but you can do much better for that price somewhere else! We got charged the ‘cultural tax’ on leaving despite the booking stating it included taxes and fees. When asked they said it was charged by the city to renovate the Dom (no comment). On top of everything there is no air conditioning, thank God it was not so hot, but it in the real summer weather it would have been unbearable. Read more

Hotel was very close to major sightseeing of the Dom, old city, museums and minutes away from modern shopping avenues. Very adequate hotel in the city centre. Staff were particularly pleasant and helpful.Inclusive breakfast was a plus.Arranged car parking was close by. 2 minutes walk took you to the Dom and the first christmas market.No restaurant facility but snacks and room service available. Lekker dichtbij de grote bezienswaadigheden en metro en station. Prima hotel, redelijk eenvoudig maar wel goed. Prima kamer, goed ontbijt, sanitair redelijk, goede en vriendelijke service. Alleen de airco van de achterburen heeft me wat wakker gehouden.

Esta a tan solo 3 min. andando de la Catedral, no hay parking para coches. No hay servicio de recepcion 24 horas, lo que a nosotros nos vino fatal ya que llegamos a los 12 de la noche, y no habia nadie, aun que habiamos avisado que llegariamos tarde. Despues de las 11 de la noche hay que llamar a un guardia de seguridad que te cobra 15 € por el servicio. […] Nos cobraron tambien 20 € por un parking reservado que no utilizamos, ya que no habia nadie para atendernos. Wir sind zu dritt für eine Wochenendveranstaltung nach Köln gereist und konnten uns ein 3-Bett-Zimmer im Hotel am Römerbrunnen sichern. Das Hotel haben wir zu Fuss vom Hauptbahnhof aus leicht gefunden und innert 5 Minuten erreicht. Das Zimmer war sauber, einfachen standards und hatte aber alles was man für einen Aufenthalt benötigt. Dusche und Toilette […] waren getrennt (super!), jedoch sehr klein. Hervorzuheben ist der äusserst freundliche und persönliche Service des Personals, die Mineralwasserflaschen die täglich aufs Zimmer gebracht werden, das Früchteangebot wo man sich stets bedienen kann und das mehr als ausreichende und frische Frühstücksbuffet. Fazit: Wer auf top modern und geradlinigkeit achtet, besser woanders buchen. Wer auf persönliche Bedienung und heimelige Atmosphäre achtet, ist hier genau richtig! Preis/Leistung stimmt. Meget venlig og imødekommende reception, dog var der problemer med betalingen og der blev pålagt ekstra gebyr i forhold til den aftalte pris. Værelset var pænt, men der var ikke noget toilet på værelset (hvilket ikke var oplyst ved booking - tvært imod). Der var toilet på gangen og bad inde på værelset - kabine installeret a la gamle lejligheder i København. […] Værst var nok sengen, som var slidt op for 5 år siden - en stor fælles madras med et hul midten. Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour à Cologne dans cet hôtel. Les chambres sont propres et confortables, le petit déjeuner y est gourmand et copieux. De plus, il jouit d'une situation exceptionnelle : à deux pas de la gare, aux portes de la vieille ville. Rien à redire!
