Despite being renovated and modernized, The Astor has a really nice atmosphere. The Tea Lounge is especially nice, though a bit pricey. The breakfast buffet is the most diverse I have seen with Indian, Japanese, Western, and Chinese menu items. They even had some sushi! The room is also super comfy. Nice bed, and the T.V. in front of the bath tub was a fun novelty. The only draw back of this hotel is that they don't really have a full size pool. Instead they have 2 Jacuzzi tubs and then two longer resistance type pools that jet out water to swim against. It is an ok substitute, but not really a full pool. Otherwise, everything about the hotel is great and a nice break from modern block hotels.

The hotel is a great little gem in Tianjin. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of the development zone. The breakfast is worth the hotel... alone. The beds in the delux suites are better than the executive suites. Excellent hotel. There really isn't much around the hotel, but there is good access to the express road, and the city outer-ring road. Strongly recommend if you need to stay in the area.

Our hotel is located in the center of Tianjin hi-tech economic development area, which is the closest economic development area to the city center of Tianjin (about 20 minutes to Binjiang Dao commercial street and 15 minutes to Tianjin government). Recently, the Tianjin Metro No.3 Line station established nearby the hotel that gives the area better accessibility to the major destinations of the city. Saixiang hotel is looking forward to serving you again !
