"A Fantastic Stay"
My Husband and I worked with The Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge for our wedding. The staff was lovely and the rooms are beautifully kept. The grounds and location CANNOT be beat for the affordable price! All of our guests were so happy, and so are we! FH Motor Lodge is a truly charming Cape Cod hotel.

We stayed 2 nights in the Beach House. Huge room with a king size bed - quiet/peaceful. Lovely little bathroom. You feel like home here :-). Staff very friendly and helpful. Light breakfast included. Great advantage you can park your car here if you intend to catch the Ferry to Martha's Vineyard - saves you about $15! We can highly recommend this Inn.
"I was happily surprised and I am a hotel snob"

I have to start this review with a disclaimer. I used to travel for work, and spent many nights in hotel rooms. These hotels were always brand names, and if it did not have an elevator I was skeptical. When my wife informed me that we would be staying at the motor lodge I thought I was in for it. Visions of the Bates Motel danced in my head. I figured it would be a new and interesting experience. When My wife I informed the staff that we would be arriving late they made arrangements to get us into the room. No one at the front desk 24 hours hmmm The fateful day arrived and we made our way to the lodge. As we opened the door my heart was in my throat, as I was not sure what to expect. When I arrived I saw a very clean room, but very small. As you will see the room has a bed, and TV as well as microwave and fridge. The bathroom was a perfect fit. Overall the room was functional, except for a firm bed. Bill and the staff are great and take great pride in the place. It is very easy to walk to the vineyard ferry. do it you will love it. Restaurants are close and the beach is walkable. Overall I think you will be happy with the choice. It is a good central location for cape fun
"Convenient & Pleasant"
We spent one night at the Motor Lodge and really liked our stay. The staff was very welcoming and friendly, the room was clean and tidy and the location perfect for us as the Martha's VY ferry was only a 3 minute walk away. We even got a discount on the ferry tickets through the Motor Lodge. It was definitely a very nice stay!
"Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant!!!!!"

We stayed at the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge from 30th August until 4th September 2014, and can genuinely say we had a wonderful experience here. The accommodation was excellent, the local amenities were plentiful, the scenery was breathtaking and the staff were so friendly and helpful (Thanks for everything Bill!) We did not want to go home at the end of our stay, and were very sad to leave. If we are ever over there again we would not hesitate to book with them again. The Flynn Family, West Midlands, UK

"The manager tries hard in spite of the owner"

We stayed at this Lodge in Summer of 2014. The staff go out of their way to be pleasant and helpful, however the owner is a crotchety old man who needs to get out of the service industry. We have stayed all over the world and this is the first time I actually spent the time to do a review!!! Upon arrival, the owner stormed out to my husband sitting in our vehicle and promptly said" what the hell are you doing here". Both the front desk and manager continually apologized for his behaviour. We later met someone who appeared to be a son or relative. Definitely the acorn does not fall far from the tree. The best that could happen for this lodge would be for the owner to sell it!

We spent five nights in one of the motel rooms. Overall the room was small, but clean and functional and quiet. There is a small fridge for keeping refreshments cold and a microwave, which we did not use. The grounds are very pretty and the cottages looked very nice (maybe next time we'll book one of these), and there is a swimming pool and laundry room, which we also did not use. We spent little time there - basically just to crash after a full day of exploring all the wonderful sites throughout the cape. The beach is close by and the ferry to Martha's Vineyard is a short walk. Breakfast is continental style consisting of a few baked goods, cereal, health bars, coffee, tea and milk. Opting for a more healthy breakfast, we did not have anything other than coffee, but that was our choice. Also, there is nowhere to eat, particularly in the motel style room, as there is no table other than a small desk, which was taken over with our toiletries. The front desk staff is friendly and informative and there are several brochures and maps of the area. This was our first real visit to the cape and the weather was wonderful. The location was very convenient and a short drive from downtown, where we enjoyed a few meals. Would definitely return and recommend it to young and old, singles, couples and families!
"Excellent location to visit Martha's Vineyard"

We spent 2 nights here in August. As said before the rooms are clean with fridge and microwave and a parking spot right outside the door. There is a 7/11 a short walk away as well as a Liquor shop. It is a short walk to the ferry for Martha's Vineyard and there are plenty of restaurants to suit all tastes in Falmouth. We visited the Flying Bridge restaurant very close by for a lovely fish meal overlooking the harbour. There is a pool and the motel is only a few yards from the beach. A light breakfast is provided, tea or coffee, orange juice, 2 types of cereal, 3 types of cake or a breakfast bar.
