"Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge"
A wonderful place on the Cape which is located in a quiet residential area, walking distance to the Island Queen Ferry and the beach. The hotel has a nice pool, grassy lawn area with swings and an old-fashion soda shack. We were able to walk to the Island Queen Ferry to spend the day on Martha's VIneyard. This hotel is also walking distance to the Casino […] Wharf Restaurant (a great restaurant overlooking the beach). The hotel is about ten minutes from downtown Falmouth, which is very lovely. We spent another gorgeous day on the Cape on rented bikes (Corner Cycle) biking along the Shining Sea Bike Trail to the Woods Hole lighthouse. The staff at Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Our was room quiet, clean and comfortable. We had an enjoyable stay in this quaint motor lodge. We highly recommend to everyone. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

We stayed at the Motel for one night prior to leaving for the Vineyard by ferry. The location is ideal: less than a five minute walk to the ferry and you can leave your car at the Inn ($20/night CASH). The rooms are small, but clean. There is a fridge and microwave in the room. Pool on the premises. Good shower etc. Friendly and helpful staff. No turndown service, mints on the pillow or terry robes, but a good value for what it is.

Stayed for 5 nights in the Beach House and wish we could have stayed longer. Beach house is light and airy with plenty of space to stretch out on the enormous bed. Not somewhere for those with mobility issues as the steep flight of stairs can take your energy at the end of a long day, but worth it when you reach the top. Other members of the family stayed in the motel rooms which were also good and have parking spaces just outside. However after the beach house is worth paying the extra if you can afford to. The beach is just across the road, but the swimming pool is nearer for a restful few hours. Ferry to Marha's Vineyard was walking distance and the island is most definitely recommended for a visit.
"Relaxing place to stay"

We travelled down to Cape Cod from Boston for 3 nights and stayed at Falmouth Heights in the Grande House, which has about 3 guest rooms. It's so peaceful! There was enough room for my husband and I and our 18 year old daughter as there were 2 beds in the room. There was a small decking patio which we ate breakfast on. Grounds are lovely-spacious and well tended and the pool area is great. There's a washing machine and dryer in a separate area-great as we had been travelling for 11 days. Walk to the beach is about 7 mins and even closer to the Island Ferry to sail over to Martha's Vineyard. Falmouth is about a 5 min drive away, with a large car park and an abundance of restaurants and small shops. Maureen, Bill and all the staff were extremely welcoming and we would definitely stay again if we revisit Cape Cod, which we will!

The very first time I stayed at the Falmouth Heights Motor Lodge was around 12 years ago , and I knew I would keep coming back. It just has that feeling you are looking for in a motel. Clean, Comfy and Cozy. The rooms are always spotless. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The location is ideal and the grounds are spacious and inviting. They have a terrific pool, and outdoor picnic- barbeque area. The hotel is a minutes walk to the beach, local bars and eateries, and a five minute walk to the Island Queen which brings you to Martha's Vineyard. I guess this is why me, my husband and our two daughters have come back almost every year since that first time 12 years ago.

Stayed with my wife and two kids. Kids loved the pool and grounds. Stayed in one of the motel rooms. Room was immaculate and employees friendly. Owner was always around, attentive and willing to do everything to make the stay a great one. This is a must stay!!

We stayed here for one night on a driving trip of cape Cod on the way to Boston. We booked direct with the motel and got a good rate for room and breakfast. On arrival the staff were all very nice and friendly. They directed us to our room which was right next to the office and therefore also close to the road but despite our misgivings the room was actually very quiet(and handy for breakfast which was served in the reception area). The room itself was fine-a bit dated decoratively but a good size and clean. The staff recommended the Flying Bridge for dinner which was lovely -good food and nice to sit on the balcony overlooking the marina. Later we walked through the back gate of the properties beautiful grounds and had a drink at the British Beer company which is on the beach. All good so far.....Then it came to going to bed. The bed, pillows and general bedding were all nice and clean and then we turned down the sheets to find a bottom sheet that had seen better days-badly stitched up in various places and I was quite shocked that anyone would put a sheet in that condition on the bed (see photos). The sad thing is that the sheets were clean and if the sheet had been on the other way the damage would have been at the foot end and we would not in all likelihood have noticed it. However at the head end it was impossible to miss and was a real downer for us. Breakfast was fine with a selection of hot drinks, muesli bars, porridge and pastries etc. All in all an OK stay ruined by a small detail- but to me a clean bed with good bedding is the most important part of any overnight accomodation.
"Our go-to Falmouth hotel now"

We stayed at the Falmouth Heights for 4 nights last week for a family birthday celebration that arose suddenly. Because of the short notice, all they had left was a "Beach House" room (there are only 2 of those), which was more expensive than one of their standard motel rooms would have been. Despite paying top dollar, though (which was still pretty okay), we were very happy. The room: WAY more floor space than I was expecting. I should have brought my yoga mat, gear, and DVDs - there was plenty of space to do it. Lots of hangers in the spacious closet, plus a mini-fridge in the room (great for waters!) The mattress and pillow weren't terrifically comfortable to me, but that's a completely personal thing, so don't take that as a broad pronouncement or anything! We were in #22, which had 2 wicker chairs on a little deck right outside the room - lovely. The room's only quirk? No coffee maker. (I don't drink coffee, but would have enjoyed some tea in the evenings...) For the mornings, though, there was: The breakfast: Perfectly fine. Coffee, hot water for tea, cereal bars, pastry of different sorts. The grounds: REALLY nice! much nicer than you'd expect at a "motel". There's even a pool! A lovely, clean pool, with towels available in the office, beach chairs, and several tables with umbrellas. There are also swing chairs, a picnic area, etc. The location: Very good. Walking distance to the British Beer Company (yummy food!), the Island Queen ferry to Martha's Vineyard, and (of course) the beach. The beach is better for strolling on/taking pictures than sitting on and working on one's tan, but this is Cape Cod, not St. Tropez! Got an ice cream cone craving? Try the Silver Sands Shanty just across the street - they're open until 10pm. The staff: Fantastic. Cannot say enough about their friendliness and willingness to help. Case in point: a relative was driving in from Boston and needed a place to crash for a few hours before he could check in to his own hotel - Debbie in the office gave us a spare parking pass so he could hang out with us. Everyone from Debbie, Maureen, and Bill in the front office to Antoinette in Housekeeping to the kind gentlemen in the parking lot were just as nice as could be. Bottom line? We loved it, and would stay here again. In fact, I'm sure we will!

Stayed here for a weekend, we had request a room with a view, they upgraded us to a cottage so we had a good view of the garden, was surprised to find a small kitchenette, a small porch, swings, pool and lovely grounds, walking distance to the boat to Martha's vineyard. Place was well kept, knowledgeabile staff and beach near by and very goo nod price, we plan to return.

We spend a week at The Cape every year and "anchor" at The Harbor House. The facilities, the grounds, the location, and the helpful staff help to make this our Xanadu. Lynda and Pete Ann Arbor, Michigan
"Nice place for high-season price"

Although our focus for this one-day excursion was Woods Hole, we opted for a less expensive place a few miles away. My wife and I were very satisfied with this motor lodge. The staff were very helpful. Our room in the original motel was fine--clean and well appointed, if small. We had time for a swim in the pool before heading over to Woods Hole for dinner. The grounds were surprisingly spacious and beautiful and full of places to sit in the shade. A beach is only a short walk away. We hadn't known about the various cottages on the premises, which looked very intriguing as possible alternatives to the old motel. We will definitely keep this place in mind for future visits to the Woods Hole-Falmouth area.
