Meadows Residency - Udhagamandalam (Ooty)

The staff here were absolutely wonderful, helpful and truly a delight to meet. The place was very clean and beds were extremely comfortable. The only downside for me was that with no fans and aircon, so I felt that the room was stuffy at night time. Otherwise an above average accomodation. Thanks Rose Australia

This is a small, modern (very recently built) hotel. It was clean and comfortable, we had a couple of minor issues that required attention in the room, these were attended to immediately and rectified. The dining room - really more of a cafe, was small but there was always somewhere to sit for the breakfast. There was a small range of choices for the […] breakfast buffet but what there was was excellent, fresh and kept very hot. I had the best pongal ever here! Service at breakfast was excellent - they realised how much chai we liked to drink and kept us well topped up. We stayed 3 nights in Meadows Residency in OOTY, it was nice experince with the hotel and the staff, only draw back is they dont clean the room daily, if they concentrate on that it will be nice other wise it was a good experience.

Stayed for 2 nights. Very courteous hotel staff and clean room. Room service was quick and good. Located at a convenient spot near most of the must see sites. On the other side, bad bulky CRT TV with very bad cable connection. Hotel staff failed to fix the cable issue even after multiple calls. Bath room water was not clear, staff told us it’s the problem […] with municipality water itself. Power failure twice, and yes we have to call staff to get it back online. Overall mixed opinion. Excellent hotel in Ooty, close to Charring Cross with the friendly hustle and bustle of the market just a stone's throw away. Hotel staff were very courteous and service was very prompt. The room was clean and classy. LCD televisions present in every room. Highly recommended. Will book again if going to Ooty/Coonoor.

I stayed in this hotel for total of 6 nights for tourism in October. They offer cheap transport facility from/ to hotel. The receiption is good. they offered Wi-Fi for full day cost 240 IRs. Rooms are very clean with enough space. LCD TV but small size. Quit but few nights there were loud music from widding halls near by (didn't last after 11:00PM). […] Food is very nice for those likes spice. I tried getting without spice but they couln't.
