"Great choice!"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 5, 2012
Price and location were right. Grounds and maintainance inside and out were above average....flowers blooming everywhere! Front desk friendly and efficient. Room spacious and well appointed with 2 Q beds and new, big, flat screen TV (room 301). Towels were not lush, but there were 4 of them, so no issues!

"Good mid-price choice"Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
This is a good choice if North Vancouver is your destination. Lots of shopping and eating in the market below the hotel, which is also where the parking is located. The more upscale and higher priced rooms get you further out towards the water, which can be worth it in terms of quiet and view.
"2 nights in Vancouver."Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on May 4, 2012
Hotel was very clean and new. Hotel is in middle of Chinatown so you won't see many chain restaurants or food other than very traditional Asian.

The staff was somewhat professional. I had a knock on the door the next day to know whether I would extend my stay for an additional day. The room was small. The air conditioner unit was loud and prevented me from sleeping that night. The bed itself was stiff and quite uncomfortable. My partner and I had a restless sleep. I would opt to stay at another […] hotel then relive this experience. Read more

"The Price Is Right"
When first entering this hotel, here's a few things you need to know. Check in is at 3pm, and you need $250 on your credit card for a pre-authorization should there be damage to the room. At first the hotel staff looked a little shady (Guy was the poster child for gangsta) but they are indeed very friendly and helpful. Not to mention at normal hotel […] hours they look more professional. They are quick to serve should there be any problems and are happy to help you when you need it. I can see some of the previous damages that occurred in these rooms (cigarette burns on the comforter but that was pretty much it) and they are a little small. But if you're going to be going out most of the day and are traveling by yourself this room is perfect. Even when my girlfriend was there with me we both were nice and cozy. The bed isn't uncomfortable. It is actually fairly comfy so sleeping wasn't an issue. Yes the heater and AC are a bit noisy, but that's why they are very easy to turn off so you can sleep. Although I had another guest with me in the shower (big big spider) I was able to get rid of it easily enough. Also about their showers, here's how they work: When you have the water hot enough, the end of the faucet below can be pulled down. Simply pull it down and the shower is activated. The neighborhood is a little sketchy, I'll admit. It makes such a nice looking hotel look out of place, and you may hear interesting noises as people walk by. But this is pretty minor if you're driving, but I express caution when walking there when its dark out. Although it is near some rather posh condos so those also look a little out of place. And finally when I left, there was no hassle. Room looked good and the pre-auth was removed and I was checked out in 5 seconds. If you do show up a little early for your check in that's alright. They'll look to see if there's a room that's cleaned and ready for a stay. Very handy. Otherwise check in runs pretty smooth. No more than 5 minutes I' Read more
"Days Inn, Surrey, BC"
We had business in both White Rock and Vancouver so location was perfect.for us. Room was kept spotless and public areas were attractive. Housekeeping was a bit lackaday....but any missing items were readily & cheerfully supplied on request at the desk. Owners/managers were unfailingly helpful & friendly.
Hotel was clean and comfortable!
"Days Inn King George HWY"
Nice newer hotel in a decent location. Close to major amenities that surrey has to offer. I have only 2 complaints about the place. The bed wasn't that comfortable. And I didn't like that they required a $250 pre-authorization on my credit card in case I smoked in the room. I don't even smoke and I have stayed in many different hotels and never had […] someone tell me that this pre-authorization is do due with the fact that its a non smoking room and they need to be sure I don't smoke it in it. "A Pleasant Stay"
Overall our stay was very nice. Not fancy or elaborate, but the room was clean and comfortable. Access to the hotel is from one direction only which is a bit of a pain but not that big a deal. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff was a little too helpful in that when they cleaned the room they cleaned out our fridge, even though we […] had purposely left some baked goods in there for the following evening. Othr than that the stay was very nice. Read more
"6 hour stay"
Arrived early hours of the morning and were extremely tired. Took forever to sign in and get to our room. Hotel had been notified of our very late check in and I would have thought they would have everything ready so that we could just sign and get to our room. Disappointing..

Comfortable, good rooms, the neighborhood is not wonderful, buts its convienent to transit. At its price point its well worth the dollars spent in comparison to others.
