The lighting was difficult for applying make-up--too many shadows. The shower was not good for us--too much water on the floor and too slippery. Were we in a handicap room? The location was peaceful with parks and easy access to public transportation.

perfect for when flying out and they have a bus to the airport which is within walking distance if required.Food in restaurant was good but a bit overpriced. The service in the restaurant was just average.

We were picked up at airport by Premium Cab Service, which we used last year when in Melbourne. Many thanks to Johnny and his boys who provide an exceptional friendly service, always bang on time, at not much more than Yellow cabs, thanks again! . Great view of city from room. Found having to manually lock room with key on the inside and outside a bit […] of a pain. We found the room comfortable, we had a one bedroom apartment. I felt a bit more money should have been spent on a few details letting these apartments down, which were as follows. Bed was far too hard, and we had to request for a chopping board, which considering it was a full kitchen should have been provided. Also, there was supposed to be a manual for the stove, and we requested this, but it didnt arrive(chopping board did). Stove was not user friendly, neither was air conditioning. I felt for a hotel the carpet was far too light in colour, and was badly stained, which wasnt a good look. Also, towels were a little shabby as well. I may seem like I am being fairly critical, but this is Melbourne Short Stay Apartments Deluxe, and are half a star from being 5 Star, and small things let hotels down. Also we had trouble with the fridge leaking water inside the fridge, then it decided to start freezing over. Aside from all of this we had a great time, in a very convenient location, with a great IGA supermarket metres away, but feel things could be better to enhance the stay. Read more
