This is my second time staying at this hotel. Both times have been very pleasant. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great. The location is quiet but no more than a five minute walk from Juan Les Pins shopping and restaurant area. It is an old style French hotel but the rooms I have been in have been very comfortable and clean.

We stayed here with our three kids for business/vacation for a week. The hotel is beautiful, and clean, and the staff were helpful and kind to the children. The "boys' room" was spacious, but the "girls' room" had two "princess beds" with blue draperies and pink lace reading lamps -- amazing. We did not get the hotel breakfast, but there is a boulangerie directly behind (one block) the hotel with great French breakfast items. If you are feeling flush, Petrossian (two blocks behind the hotel) also has breakfast. Highlights for the kids were the multiple pieces of sea glass (aka "diamonds" and "emeralds") on the rocky beach, the 40,000 BC human footprint at the Terra Amata museum, the try-it-on Roman helmet at the Roman ruins at Ciminez, the many "smell it" displays at the perfume museum in Grasse, Josephine's crown at the Massena museum, the guinea pig house at Parc Phoenix, and the playground on the castle hill. We took the public bus everywhere and the French people were so nice to us (it helps to speak a little French, but we limped along and they were very patient.) Hotel staff almost always spoke English better than my French. Deserving of more than five stars, if we could give them.

Had not been aware that hotel was at the top of a very steep and long hill. We were travelling without a car and reliant on public transport - bus at bottom of very challenging walk When I emailed hotel to ask if there were restaurants nearby within walking distance I was sent a map which showed a hotel - but no mention it was down one virtual "mountainside" […] and up another - the truth would have helped because I would have had time to cancel and rebook elsewhere. This is probably of no concern to most who bring cars - but the truth upfront would have been nice. . Dinner was nouvelle cuisine (i.e. pricey but not much there). Room basic and badly designed - TV behind cupboard - could not see it from my bed. Our room looked out on to wire fencing and next door neighbours' yard. However - staff very obliging - polite and friendly.. Nice breakfast room but not enough staff to keep all items replenished. Okay for a night's stop but look elsewhere for a longer stay. Read more

Nice hotel overall but you absolutely need your own transport. Location is slightly limiting, a hire car is advised. Taxis are expensive plus the hotel charges €2 to call a cab which is a bit of a joke. Pool area was lovely and ambience very relaxing.

Lovely restaurant, with fantastic food, and the staff were very good as well. Breakfast was nice, sat on terrace. Good location and very quiet. Pool was out of action the whole time we were there apparently being "filled" which was disappointing. Room looked a little tired, especially the bathroom.

Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel. Auf gar keinen Fall ohne Auto anreisen! Taxi verlangt für 3-5 km ca. 30€!! Sehr nettes deutsch und englischsprechendes Personal! Zimmer nicht wirklich sauber. Statt "Kingsize-bett", Bett aus zwei unbequemen Matratzen. Beim Essen entsprach nur der Preis den angeblichen 4-Sternen. Übteuert und fad! Frühstück ok, jedoch […] auch nicht für 4-Sterne. Tolle Aussicht, totale Ruheoase. Preis-Leistung im Grossen und ganzen angemessen. Read more

Ik zou dit hotel geen 4 sterren geven op de meeste punten. Kamer vrij klein en ook de badkamer zeer klein, anders dan het doet vermoeden op de foto's. Ook een kleine reparatie / opfris beurt geen overbodige luxe op de kamer (de stoelen waren vies bij de leuningen, wc rol houder los.) Schoonmaak niet erg professioneel, vuile handdoeken werden vergeten […] en de glazen werden alleen omgespoeld en weer teruggeplaatst (stonken nog naar het bier van de dag ervoor). Het ontbijt is matig georganiseerd, tafels worden niet snel opgeruimd en personeel lijkt er niet veel zin in te hebben (zijn veelal stagiaires) en is niet klantgericht. Het eten zelf is wel goed geregeld. Personeel bij de receptie en het restaurant (voor avond eten) wel goed en klantgericht. Ligging van het hotel is mooi, wel kleine steile toegangsweg. Read more

Das Zimmer ist ok,aber die Sauberkeit im detail war nicht in ordnung, wie z.B. Kühlschrank war nicht an der Küchenfront richtig befestig, die Schaniere sind ausgeleiert, Kissenbezüge, Couch & Tisch waren fleckig. Im Badezimmer sind immer wieder Ameisen aufgetaucht. Die Außenanlagen waren nicht sehr gepflegt... Das Fruhstücksbuffet war recht übersichtlich […] & immer das gleiche...es bestand aus je 2 Sorten Salami & Käse, Schinken & Eier, etwas Marmelade, Honig, 2 Sorten Säfte. Diese Auswahl ist für ein 4 Sterne Hotel nicht angemessen. Die Tassen & Gläser waren teilweiße fleckig. Plutôt pr une clientèle hollandaise. Service au restaurant par un seul stagiaire débutant et ne parlant pas français, alors 1 autre personne pr l'aider aurait été appréciable! Pylone à ondes traversant l'hôtel. Bruits de tuyauterie gênants durant la nuit, et mauvaise isolation phonique entre les étages.

Bien placé pour visiter Cagnes et ses environs. L'ensemble des prestations sont de qualité. Les repas ( le soir seulement) sont assez onéreux mais justifiés par la qualité et le cadre. Par contre le service à table fait un peu dans l'amateurisme. Les jeunes manquent d'expérience.Cela n'est pas très grave mais parfois drôle.

Preis- Leistungsverhältnis in Ordnung. Mietauto unbedingt erforderlich. Service sehr bemüht und auch mehrsprachig (Rezeption). Viele Familien mit Kindern - Poolanlage ist daher meist voll. Lage des Hotes ausgezeichnet für Ausflüge geeignet.
