    Mitsui Garden Hotel is brand new, so rooms are very nice and clean. Great baths and excellent facilities. Hotel staff quite unhelpful, which was suprising for a Japanese hotel. Hotel doesn't allow any visitors to enter room. My daughter only wanted to help carry my bags upstairs as I have a herniated disk and also needed him to translate the air conditioning […] control panel. Mitsui staff could not speak english at all. They wouldn't let her come up for 5 minutes, although my daughter explained our concerns. Read more

    Like most Japanese business hotels it was a little tight and storage was minimal to non existent but going with that in mind it was great. The hotel just opened last fall and appears to be maintained very well. The proximity to the main train station makes the hotel worth the 10 minute (or less) walk. The staff were very polite, helpful and many could […] speak a little English. Access to Isamu Noguchi's Moerenuma Park and his children's play sculptures at Odori Koen (Park) were easy. Subway and bus to Moerenuma Park was easy and fast. Less than an hour. And Odori Koen was only a 15 minute walk. The tourist office and the JR travel office is close by at the main train station and they always have English speaking agents. There were no signs of the recent devastating earthquake, tsunami and nuclear disaster. Luckily Hokkaido was not affected by the event. We also stayed in Tokyo for several days too and it was pretty much back to normal. All in all it was a great trip! Read more

    Checking in was done without hassle. We stayed for 3 nights. Front desk had been very helpful with our questions and provide guides, and able to borrow a machine/tool from them to access Wi-Fi in room. Stayed in twin bed room, and is considered big for Japanese standard. There's free public bath for use.

    離車站很近,飯店內外都很乾淨清潔,每間客房都有附新型的加濕器.飯店內的使用說明也有繁體中文可以看,這點讓我十分欣賞.房間雖然不大但是機能性很不錯,床鋪跟羽毛被睡起來都很舒服.浴室雖然很小但是浴缸夠大,這對我來說就足夠了.只是希望房間內的茶包能多供應一種就更好了.唯一一件比較困擾\的地方是,入住第三天早上10:30後我回到房間時,看見客房已經打掃完畢,所以我就將錢包跟一些隨身物品放在桌上就外出午餐.但當11:30我又回去房間時,卻看到清潔人員在重新打掃我的房間,如果知道會打掃兩次的話,我就會把重要的東西帶在身上而不是隨便放在桌上就出門了.幸好沒有遺失任何物品.總之這次的住宿經驗我很滿意,下次還會考慮入住這間,因為交通真的太方便了.

    It's a really convenient and clean hotel nearby the train station. The service is good and room is new. The only problem is the room size. I traveled with a friend in winter for two weeks with two big size luggages. Yet, the room only has one small space for hand-carry luggage. You can imagine how difficult we can move in that room.

    room is small but very comfy, the bed is comfy too. Nothing to complain as this hotel is very reasonable with its price, quiet and clean..only 4-5 mintue walk from hotel to JR..shopping malls are in distant away, you can just spend whole day shopping in that area, and then when you get tired, bring back your shopping bags to hotels and shop again!!! […] all major shopping plazas are in JR area.     出張で３泊4日泊まらせていただきました。フロントの女性スタッフは、皆様、とても素晴らしい対応でした。こんなに気持ち良い接客は、なかなか無いと思います。笑顔も物越しも、丁度良い。疲れてホテルに帰ってきても、彼女達の対応と綺麗な大浴場で癒されました。チェックアウトをしてから、スマートフォンのイヤホンジャック　アクセサリーを忘れた事を思い出して、取りにいったが、フロントの男性に説明しても、意味が分からない？といった感じなのか、そんなもの？という感じなのか、あまり真剣に取り合ってくれなかった。（笑）札幌駅から近くて、とても便利です。
