We were welcomed to the hotel with a delicious coconut drink and the staff signing a welcome song. The grounds and beach in front of the hotel are beautiful. Our room was also very nice. The food on the resort is good, especially the breakfast which is included in the room fee. The resort has kayaks and a stand up paddle board or two that anyone can use. The trip to Lomani was everything I dreamed it would be; when you cross the entry to the resort you become an honored family member and are treated as such by all staff members. We only had four nights to stay at the Lomani and can't wait to go back for at least a week! The rooms are great; the staff is outstanding and see to your every need; the amenities are many and, for the most part, complimentary. That meant anything for breakfast you wanted, hot or cold (and room service if you liked), kayaking, sailing, snorkel equipment […] and snorkeling trips via boat out to the reef...every day if you wanted. The restaurant's food was terrific. We did try a couple of lunches at Plantation Resort and one dinner at Musket Cove...neither place had food or service as good as the Lomani. This resort provides an excellent and romantic place for couples to escape and relax. The staff is the most friendly of any resort I've stayed at. They welcome you with a group song and coconut juice upon arrival. When leaving, the bid farwell with another song. Most of our stay was in an Oceanfront Buere, but we also added a day and stayed in the Garden […] Bueres. Both rooms were spacious and very clean. If you really want privacy, the Ocenfront Bueres were preferable. You have your own building, seperated from others by manincured shribs, that has a patio with lounge chairs, sitting chairs and tables. A small amount of grass is between this and the ocean. The views are beautiful. We had low expectations for food, based on some other reviews, but the food was very good, creative and plated nicely. I would definitely recommend this resort. If you do stay, take the free reef snorkling trip. Fish are not huge, but abundant and colorful. There is a nice dive shop adjacent to the resort (in the Plantation section). They were outstanding. We did the pinacle dive down about 100ft, and through a small cave in the coral. There were many colorful fish. If you're looking for colorful coral, I would recommend a different dive though. Basically, we loved Lomani. It is well run, beatiful, clean and staffed by the most friendly people. Read more

Lomani resort is a little piece of heaven on earth. We stayed at Lomani for 6 nights in March 2013 in a beach front bure. The bure was huge, immaculately clean, the outdoor shower was a querky bonus, the king size bed was comfortable and every morning we opened the curtains to a good size deck, private lawn, beach and ocean views - picture postcard […] stuff. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Getting sung to on arrival and departure was pretty special. The pool is enormous and never crowded, the double day beds were popular but we usually got one. The food was very good, wine list a little lacking. We did buy some Pimms duty free on the way into Fiji and I would recommend taking a few bottles of your favourite tipple with you. The cost of the resort includes kayaks and paddleboards - we used these and loved them. The snorkelling out on the reef was incredible - like sticking your head into an aquarium tank. It was very quiet on an evening. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday then this is for you, if you're looking to party then pass on Lomani and find somewhere livelier. Lomani is an adults only resort with beach front bures. From the moment we arrived everything was excellent, an ideal location right on the beach, we had a beach front bure and it was great. It is a small resort and ideal to do nothing and really relax. We have just come back from an amazing time at the “Lomani Island Resort” on Malolo Lailai Island in Fiji. The resort was a wonderful place to stay, the suites beautifully appointed and outlooks breathtaking. The service was fantastic, with the staff anticipating every need. There were plenty of activities for everyone to engage in if desired. The “Flame […] Tree” restaurant had a great menu and we also dined at the restaurants at nearby Plantation Island. We were there for my daughter’s wedding. “Lomani ”provided her with the wedding of her dreams and more! Getting married on a sandbar in the ocean was truly incredible. The resort manager Lusi and wedding planner Jonacath took care of the all the details. Prior to the wedding my daughter had enquired if it would be possible to have sea shells as part of the table decorations. The answer was “of course”. We found out later that Lusi and her daughter had gone out especially and collected shells from the surrounding beaches and spent a lot of time washing and cleaning them. This is what I call service! The wedding reception was magical. The food was outstanding, the decorations beautiful and the staff attentive as always. Having the bride and groom serenaded by Jonacath who they by now considered a friend was personal and beautiful. We had several functions during the week of the wedding and each one was a great success. I would highly recommend “Lomani” as a resort for a holiday or an important event such as a wedding. This was a very pleasant stay and quite relaxing due to being adults only it is quiet and tranquil. The surrounding location is pictuesque, looking out to the Malolo sandbank and reefs which offers a beautiful gradation of turquoise and aquamarine to look out on. The new beach bures are very nice, the outdoor shower is great, the pure fiji body products […] are a nice touch. The bures also have a semi private garden which stretches out to the beach which is nice. The resort offers plenty of complimentary bottled water in rooms, free snorkeliing trips, fishing, dolphin safaris which is a nice point of difference from other resorts. The staff are all very friendly and professional.The dining area is very relaxed and offers a nice view out to the lagoon. You can also have the option of dining by yourself along the beach which was lovely. Food was disappointing and not at the same level of other Island resorts with similar room rates. Breakfast and lunch options were adequate but dinner items were hit and miss and the desserts were terrible, hopefully they can rectify this. I would suggest stick to the local cuisine items and Indian dishes as they were the best quality. Anyone looking for a relaxing stay and want a Fiji island experience will enjoy this resort. On arrival we had a great welcome from the hotel staff, however shortly after things started to go down hill. There is allot of construction going on around the hotel and we were only two doors up. We had been told on arrival if we had any problems with the noise of the constuction to simply call through to reception and they would address it. After […] hours and hours of drilling, banging, shouting and dust i finally decided, as this was our honey moon, we were upset outbout the noise so called reception. It took me three phone calls for the staff member on the other end to grasp that the building noise was to loud, i was informed they would send somebody to sort it out..... they did'nt. When dust started coming into the room and onto our belongings I called again... they hung up, but shortly after the building did stop. The construction work starts at around 7am and goes on until around 6pm so in our room we got no quiet and couldnt sit and enoy our sunset views or deck. As we couldnt enjoy our room we decided to spend our time further down the beach away from the noise. The beaches are beautiful and cant be faulted. If i put through a full review i will run out of space so a few points; Hotel has a huge fly problem, we couldnt even eat our lunch at the restaurant it was disgusting. Construction was extremly loud as we were only a few doors down. After your check in i found the staff useless, they charged us for things we didnt have and set us up on a meal plan we didnt want. Lomani was everything we wanted and more, from the stunning location with blue waters filled with amazing fish, tons of activities offered (kayaking, snrkeling, windsurfing, golf, pin pong, biking around the island, cultural tours, basket making classes or just relaxing on a hammock listening to the birds and sea laping on the shore!), the friendly […] staff always willing to help and what topped it off was the free laundry service, so no tons of washing to come home to! I would recommend Lomani Island Resort to any couple. It is extremely intimate and the service is fantastic. Although the resort was booked out, it felt so private and at no time did we feel crowded. There was one, minor detail - hardly worth mentioning - where the staff forgot to inform us of an event. It really was not that important though when we casually mentioned it to them they went out of their way to make us feel special and we were amazed by their level of personal service. We stayed in the beachfront bure and because of our late booking also stayed in the deluxe room. Dieses Hotel hält was es verspricht: Erholung pur, totale Ruhe ( Keine Kinder unter 16 Jahren), Traumhotel an Traumstrand. Dieses Hotel ist so perfekt, das man sogar über Dinge gerne hinwegsieht, die überall anders nicht akzeptabel wären (wir hatten in der Dusche kein warmes Wasser, uns war es egal, wir haben es noch nicht mal gemeldet). Über 20 Jahre Fernreisen liegen hinter uns, und Lomani hat geschafft was noch kein Reiseziel auf dieser Welt schaffte: Wir haben beim Abschied geweint!!! 在lomani住了两天，感觉很舒适，时间太短没有参加太多活动，度假村相当安静，服务人员也很nice，定的meal plan，非常推荐，食材很新鲜，分量也很大，菜单上的都可以点，饮料是收费。 房间相当漂亮，只是beachfront bure 的间隔稍微近了些。 相比起之后去的别的小岛，这里沙滩也是很美的，比较细白。
