It's a fine hotel if you don't mind the distance to anywhere of interest... I asked for a smoking room and was approved only to find out that they don't have such rooms. 100 pounds if the alarm goes off btw ;).

The 'included' internet was HORRIBLE, as was the size of the rooms. There is no elevator and a very narrow stair case. This was a home that has been converted to a hotel. It is certainly NOT a 4 Star Hotel by any standards!! I will not stay here again or recommend this place. Amenities - NONE! Bathrooms - TINY!! Cleanliness - GOOD!

Very friendly. Very clean. Standard european size room (small compared to american rooms, but standard for europe). Reasonble price for London city. 5-8 minute walk to 2 different subway stations; west kensington and olympia (olympia has limited service but wk is very convenient) there is also a 52 to 28 bus rout that can get you from the city to about […] 15 min away from the hotel if needed. i arrived early around noon, a good 3 hours before check in, the lady at the desk was sympathetic and had me in a room within 10 mins. It was clean, and sufficient for my 3 night stay. The free internet was sufficient for emails, but not for skype. My room was very small and basic. During booking I requested a top floor but got the 1st floor. The receptionist said that they have no rooms available higher. I stayed in many 4star hotels in Europe but none of them had down blanket and pillows, 2 of them for each person. That was a nice surprise. The heater worked great and the air is not dry because […] of the different heater type they use. It can get hot at night even after adjustments and the last night we finally figured out that the window can be opened. The receptionists are excellent. The hotel doesn't have any umbrellas which I didn't expect for London so don't forget your own. Tip: When I cashed my Oyster card I got more than I expected based on the prices quoted in the card guide. I used mostly bus 9 to get to Trafalgar Square and then we walked to the other places. The bus ride is only 1.35 with the Oyster card and the views are great from the 2nd floor. Also this trip I used subway only twice from LHR and back. To get to the hotel use Olympia station. Despite the limited service to Olympia, the hotel is super close and easy to find. Read more

I was in London for a week's worth of meetings, and needed a convenient, safe and comfortable home base. The hotel is close to the tube station, as well as High Street and Hyde Park in the Kensington area. This is a great value for the money we spent. Though our double was smaller than an equivalent American hotel it was plenty of space and the room even had a fridge and microwave. The only thing that was odd to me was that the room didn't have carpet. We were well pleased. Compared to the price of other hotels we felt we got a lot for our money. There was no elevator but the staff was very helpful getting our luggage to our room. They also helped us with directions and anything else we asked of them. We would stay there again.

We picked that hotel because it was economical compared to many others and close - just one tube stop or short bus ride away - to the Hammersmith Apollo, where we were seeing two concerts during our 3-night stay. The staff at the hotel is wonderful - friendly, helpful, responsive to our needs. […] I give them the highest praise for making us feel at home. Ms. Nehal Patel, the Duty Manager, responded almost instantaneously to worried emails I had sent her about signing for tickets that I had to have sent to the hotel, so I really appreciated that. My room was the size you get in Tokyo (small) but perfectly planned for the space. The bathroom had the best fixtures you could ask for. There was even a little refrigerator, sink and microwave along with the electric tea kettle. Clean, modern and comfortable hotel in a nice area of central London. The staff was very helpful, and the price was very affordable. The only downside was the distance from a Tube stop--about 15 minutes walk to the closest one, which is alright unless you have a lot of luggage.

The hotel was great! Small, but not cramped, clean, and very well designed. It's close to two train stations, West Kensington, and Kensington Olympia (Olympia is mainly open on weekends and holidays). The site mentions there may be an extra charge for internet, but not the case - Wifi is free. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is located very close to the Olympia line and also the Europcar rental station right there. It's also a five minute walk from the West Kensington line. The rooms were very small and simple but quite well arranged and architected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, it was a nice, effortless, quiet stay.

The reception staff was SO nice and friendly, I was left to wonder if this was the result of good training, or good hiring decisions. Maria especially deserves to be commended. The room we had a double bed and not a whole lot of extra room, but London hotel rooms are notoriously small anyway. It had a real boutique feel, and given the price we paid, I felt we got a good deal. The location was not a problem, as it's only a short walk to the West Kensington Underground station. The problem with location was my fault. I didn't realize that Kensington was way on the edge of town Anything in Town would be either a long bus ride or an expensive taxi away. The room was tiny. The photos on the hotel site made it look larger. The site made it look like it was more than just a converted home. There wasn't enough room in the closets […] to unpack our bags. There wasn't enough space in the room to leave them out either. There is no lift, so all bags have to be lugged upstairs. To his credit the fellow behind the desk did haul then up for us, I couldn't help due to a recent knee injury. The bathroom was small, the shower was very tight, its doors fit poorly. The Ethernet hook up to the Internet didn't work, leaving an unsecured WI-FI. Despite their protestation otherwise, my computer found it an open connection. I had to change several passwords as a result. Perhaps if I were alone with just a backpack, it might have been enough. The price was very close to other more spacious and full-service hotels. I don't think it represented a good deal. We were so unhappy with it, we left the next day, even though I forfeited my payment for the whole stay which was unrefundable. After that, our stay in London was a lot of fun. We weren't about to ruin our vacation. Don't ruin yours. Read more

Great little hotel, just a few hundred yards from Olympia/Kensington High Street. Very quiet street, you wouldn't know you're in London! The room was not big (hey, it's in London) but very well appointed, with microwave/fridge/sink, OK for simple meals or microwave dishes from the local supermarket(s). My only criticism is the hard laminate wood floors, […] which were noisy/creaky, I felt that carpet would have been much nicer, if harder to maintain. This was the second time I'd stayed here and had the same room. Again the room was like an oven when I opened the door. The window only opened about 12 inches and the aircon wasn't very effective. It must have been about 26C in there for the night. Quite uncomfortable. Otherwise I can see this being a great hotel to stay in in Winter!

Found this hotel at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the furnishings at the price. Room was quite hot as on the top floor but aircon soon brought the temperature down. Recommended.
