We enjoyed our stay! Charming very old Gasthof in Matten. Very old building, with low ceilings! We could walk to the Interlaken West train station. A bit off the beaten path, but near the Tell outdoor theatre in summer, would be a plus.

Alpha Thun was clean and comfortable. There is a city bus stop right at the door, so it's convenient to get there from the main train station. It's very close to the lake and an easy walk to Seepark. Breakfast was included, and it was delicious. We were happy with our choice to stay at Alpha Thun.

Description of Alpenruhe Kulm - Wengen

Location.
Situated in Wengen and offering easy access to winter activities like snowshoeing and skiing lessons, Alpenruhe Kulm is close to Wengen-Mannlichen Cable Car and Kleine Scheidegg Ski Resort. Also nearby are Staubbach Falls and Lauberhorn.

Hotel Features.
During the winter, enjoy onsite recreation like downhill skiing, alpine skiing, and toboggan run and return when the snow melts for hiking/biking trails and mountain biking.

Guests can enjoy a meal at the onsite restaurant. Guests are served a complimentary breakfast each morning. Wireless and wired high-speed Internet access is complimentary in public areas.

Wengen is the most convenient and not overly touristy city in the Jungfrau. The Alpenruhe Kulm is a lovely hotel there that includes breakfast and dinner... in the room rate - a deal!! There are not a lot of other choices for dinner nearby, so this is convenient. The only downside is the fixed time for the meal. We missed several meals because we were out late on the mountains. My sister-in-law and I stayed three nights at the Alpenruhe, and enjoyed it immensely. The rooms are clean and have balconies with a view of the nearby mountains. Breakfast is substantial, and the location is perfect.

Great servce,comfortable room,friendly courteous staff and views from our balcony that must rate as one of best in the world.I would like to stay here again and would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. You must ask for the rooms at the front with a view.

Fantastico hotel calidad-precio, en un precioso pueblo, lo mejor de la estancia la amabilidad de Klaus y Manuela, hacen que te sientas como en casa.. Repetiriamos!!!! os lo recomiendo.. si vais por la zona no dejeis de ir... Nosotros ibamos a estar una sola noche y continuar el viaje en cambio nos gusto tanto que nos quedamos 4 noches..
