This was a return after 10+ years. Hotel is right on the harbor and patio is a comfortable place to ear and drink.The hotel is in the old city with plenty of restaurants and art galleries. Hotel is older and lacks an elevator, but staff will help you get luggage to your room. Hotel is in a pedestrian zone so you have to drive to the northern entry of the old city, go to the parking office and gain temporary access to the old city to drop your luggage. Hotel has parking just outside the pedestrian zone.Hotel has great breakfast buffet.

our visit to Istria area got much better due to our stay in Hotel Mauro. Nice restaurant, great food, great breakfast, wonderful services. Hotel interior is modern, nice size bathroom, very new & clean. Convienient location for walk around Porec and drive around Istria. Parking right in front of hotel and it is free. It is a bit hard to find first because you need to access a secured car access gate. There are hotel call button by the gate, push the button, hotel will let you in. The only thing that the aircond is not very efficient, it stays around 24 the whole time. Good thing it is not too hot when we were there, not sure about summer.

The hotel is in a beautiful area. it is kind of dated but clearly management expands significant efforts to keep the property clean and inviting. We were on a full board plan. The food was reasonable, but nothing like a high level restaurant. You cannot go hungry though. What bothered us is our inability to get away from smokers either in the hotel (you cannot smoke inside but smoke drifts in from the outside through open doors) or at the beach (you can be surrounded by smokers at any time).

Hotel is excellent, but practically there is no good beach around. Many guests spend most of the time in the swimming pool (! - do you need to go so far for that?), not on the beach because water is too shallow up to half a mile from the cost and it is up to your knees - though maybe kids would like that. That was a disaapointment. Boat can take you to the Ceja island - but practically there is no shade, rocky shore - and boat goes back either at 2 pm or 5 pm, we were grilled by the sun returning back by 5 pm.

Great Hotel , great location . When booking through hotels.com there was a mistake in room location. I wanted a sea view but when I got there I got a solid wall view , very frustrating. Hotel manager helped us out and found a room which we wanted but we had to pay a little extra .

We were within striking distance of Pula and Rovinj, had the nicest desk help, and loved this charming little town with its fun restaurants, beautiful shoreline and ice cream shops. Our room had two rooms and two beds inside. We also had free wifi. My son tells me there was a kitchen available down stairs, but I never checked.

It was close to EVERYTHING we wanted to see and do, especially restaurants, site seeing, and shopping. The staff was great and helped us out with all questions we had of them.

Hotellihuone oli varsin kolkko ja epäviihtyisä.Noin halvalla hinnalla ei toki mitään ihmeellistä voinut odottaakaan.Näin senioreille ei suositeltava.Nuorille varmaan hinnan takia varsin sopiva ja yhteisten ruokailutilojen ja supervarustetun keittiön vuoksi varsin mukava.

Très pratique par rapport à des vols à arrivée tardifs ou départ matinaux. Très facile d'accès. La personne de l'acceuil parle anglais, très sympathique. Grande cuisine au sous-sol avec salle à manger. Très pratique pour explorer toute la côte jusque la Slovénie. Chambre simple mais propre, salle de bain avec douche (serviettes).

We visited Villa Velina hotel and it was a really nice experience. Our room was in a good condition and the stuff was kind and helpful in any issue. The location is good, just a couple of minutes walk both to the beach and to the center of Fazana village. We were positively surprised when we arrived in the hotel and got to know there's a full-equipped […] kitchen for guests in the ground floor. The hotel was really tranquil and quiet, a great place for a good night's sleep. Just keep in mind that public transport from Pula centre isn't very frequent, buses are running normally every one and half hour. Read more
