hard to find without GPS. Very plain, but very clean hotel. Good option outside city wall with free parking.

Very romantic get-a-way for two. Borgo Pretale offers a quiet, idyllic Tuscan setting. It was a perfect side trip into the countryside from Siena. Plenty to-do for a day: archery, fitness center, pool, and a day hike. We stayed in the second floor of the tower in a split-level suite with a second bed and en-suite bathroom.

Nice quiet easy to find location with beautiful view of Scarlino. Rooms clean and dinner at Coldisasso good. Small shower in bathroom only negative. Small town perched on hilltop of Gavorrano nearby was wonderful to explore

The hotel was very nice and had great food. Many local people came for dinner as well, which is always a good sign. The only thing that my husband had a problemwth was that the room and bathroom was a bit small, but that is typical for Italy. They were totally booked and if we would have stayed longer we could have gotten a bigger room. Other than that, I highly recommend this hotel.

It was a wonderful drive to the hotel, but outside of the swimming pool, we were disappointed. The internet was down, the showers barely dripped any water, let alone hot water, and the meals were the worst we experienced in all of Italy.

A wounderful hotel, nice and clean! The people who work there is verry friendly and helpful. The dinner was really nice and the breakfast was good!!
