Great stay - difficult to find this B&Bin the dark, but definately a perfect place with wonderful hosts! Would recommend to anyone, even for me as a business traveller!

Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable, I felt the hotel could have provided additional toiletries like handsoap, cotton wool, ear buds etc and the lighting in the bathroom was too dim around the mirror which made the application of make up rather difficult.

Hotel has been modernly refurbished. Extremely nice room. Food at the bar was adequate and the staff was professional and friendly. Cant imagine a nicer place for the price in SIttingbourne

Overall it was a reasonable stay at the Roebuck but spoilt a bit by A)Room being freezing cold on check in and never really warmed up unless we left the electric heater we requested on all the time, B) Very small portion main meal and told when queried the waiter just said 'they are pre-prepared and that's just the way they are!!' we enquired at breakfast […] and it was confirmed the bowl we were served the previous nights meal in was a soup bowl !!! not impressed!! And C) last but not least there is some sort of fan/cooler which kept me awake for a good while during both nights. Might stay there again when visiting Leeds Castle but will check which room first and eat out. Read more

There was a nice welcome when we arrived. Check-in was very fast and efficient. Breakfast was very good, hot and prompt with a good choice of cereal etc. Room was clean and well presented. The surrounding village/countryside looked very nice but I did not have time to explore. Overall, I was very happy with my stay.

The Roebuck Inn is located along a quiet village road with historic Kent houses. Easy to get to from the motorway, just a short distance from Leeds Castle. Our twin room was light and attractive with an en-suite shower room. The bar /resturant provided evening meals and a quiet drink. We were staying at the Roebuck because we were a band playing at the castle for a wedding. The Roebuck is perfectly located for easy access to Leeds castle. Lovely clean and tidy rooms. Perfect for the eurotunnel, we checked in to The Roebuck on a Saturday night. The staff were excellent in their servicemindedness. We had to make an early start the next morning, so they made us some sandwiches. We had a meal in the pub in the evening, and the food was excellent as well. hebben hier 2 nachten geslapen,Hotel ligt in een rustige buurt,er is ook en pub en restaurant,uitzwaaiende gasten zorgte de eerste avond voor een beetje overlast(hard schreeuwen en luidruchtig),over het hotel kan ik zeggen dat wij daar wel tevreden over waren,goede bedden,gelegenheid om een kopje thee of koffie te maken,mooie flatscreen tv,minpunten […] zijn er ook: er mocht wel wat beter schongemaakt worden,. tevens staat er bij de boeking dat het exclusief ontbijt was ,maar dit is in de prijs inbegrepen,ook vond ik het vreemd dat het bedrag al van je creditcard was afgeschreven , beetje onduidelijk allemaal.ontbijt was typisch engels maar wel goed.,verder klaagde mijn medereizigers over de verwarming,het was s,nachts best wel koud,maar in de kamer naast ons was deze niet warm te krijgen terwijl wij het veel te warm vonden.locatie van hotel is wel goed denk ik,ongeveer 10 automin. van Centum Maidstone wat best wel een groot winkelaanbod heeft. Everything is fine at the Roebuck : Great pub, separated dining room, clean and lovely rooms, a large car park. Try the Roebuck burger is absolutely fabulous. The only bad point was my creaking bed.
