Very clean & tidy rooms. Enjoyed the sound of waves and the many stars on a clear night sky. However, can do with a movable or ceiling fan in the non-master bedroom - summer can be warm before it gets cooler in the night.

swansea itself has no such outstanding attraction comparing to other places. But it is a great stop during the long drive from one spot to another. we drived 3hs from Hobart to swansea chalet and it take us 1h from swansea to freycient park. Chalet is not very big, but it has ocean view and has everything in essential. Actually, we enjoyed the sunrise […] along the beach in the hotel area. Room is clean and tidy but sound insulation is not effective. There is no laundry in room, that we had to wash clothing in the laundry room for 4dollars wash and another 4dollars dryer. internet is 12dollars per day, quite fair. Receptionist is willing to help us and very nice. we like her. There is no decent restaurant around, but 2 IGA are in neighbour. Overall, the chalet is worth a stop and you can take a great rest in this hotel. like it Read more

The view of Coles Bay from the waterfront chalets is great and lying in bed listening to the waves was a real treat. Chalet could have a been a little cleaner, but perfectly serviceable with comfy beds and a decent shower and would definitely stay again.
