"Cosy little B&B"
This is an excellent place for solo travelers who want to spend a couple of days in one of the most beautiful cities, it's very close to Termini station, very easy to reach it if you are coming for the first time and the Colosseum is only 15 min walk he room I was in was cute and comfortable since I only slept there, the neibourghood is quite and the owner Alberto is very friendly and healpful. He gave me very useful advices which I appreciate very much. I had a wonderful time and I could stay again in this cosy B&B.

"Nice place to stay."
The B&B Termini Gold is very clean and well managed. Very safe and secure place. My room was excellent and comfortable. The bathroom is well kept. Close to Termini and lots of restaurants in the area. The location is actually in the Chinese neighborhood. If you need laundry service, there is one next door and not too expensive.

This is a great little B&B in a pretty nice area. The owner, Alberto is a wonderful host. We liked it a lot and would stay here again. It's not fancy, but has everything you need; kitchen, fridge, and a fantastic espresso machine! There are several very nice restaurants nearby; a 15 minute walk to the Coliseum and other places of interest. Plus, the Metro is a five minute walk.

"When in Rome, stay here"
Great location just minutes from the Termini station. There are tons of eating options in the area and it is a short 15 min walk to the Colosseum. You can walk to all the main attractions from this hotel other than Vatican City. It's best to take the metro for that. The metro station is only 5 mins from this hotel. Alberto is a great host and explained everything to me clearly. He contacted me directly once I booked through Expedia and gave me clear directions on how to get to the hotel from the airport. You are give some nice croissants, bread, cereal, yogurt, and juices in the morning. The AC works great and the wifi can be slow at times, but reliable. The room is pretty small, but is functional. I stayed in the room with a shared bathroom and it was not a problem for me at all. The rooms are cleaned everyday which is nice and the restrooms were always clean.

"Excellent B & B"
Stay here!!! The place was incredibly clean ( like a five star hotel clean) and Alberto was a gracious host. Although it is a bit away from the old city, it is very accessible by metro and walking is easy as well. The place was cleaned daily and the place is very well organized. The place is located in an apartment complex on the 4th floor and has a small elevator. Alberto runs a very tight ship in order to make sure his guests are as comfortable as possible, and to make your trip great. He is a great guy. You also get unlimited fresh coffee from a great coffee/espresso machine which makes it fresh every morning. You also are provided with crossaints, jam, cereal, juice and all basic breakfast needs. Overall a great stay and we cannot recommend Alberto enough. He always came through with favors like printing plane tickets etc. Just be aware that Rome may seem Gritty at times but you are safe (just watch your pockets!). We will definitely stay again on our next visit to Rome!

Alberto is a fantastic host. The room is extremely clean and Alberto is ore than helpful. The breakfast is great and the location of the B&B is great. It's about a 5 minute walk from the metro station that will zip you around Rome and it's about a 10-15 munute walk to the Coloseum. Highly recommend this place. I would stay again, no question!

"Great Place to Stay in Roma!"
Alberto was terrific. He was very helpful and knowledgable about where to go and how to get there in Rome. He was quick to respond to any questions before arrival via email and gave very good directions on how to get to the facility. The B&B was very clean and well maintained. We would definitely stay there again while in Rome. While the neighborhood was not near the main attractions and a little rundown, it was very quiet and safe, and easy to get to the train station or subway. Good restaurants nearby. Very good value to stay at Termini Gold.

Nice place to stay with comfy bed and spotless rooms. Alberto was a great, charismatic host and always available when called/e-mailed. Great gelateria (Fassi) near by (about two blocks) with great, inexpensive gelato. A supermarket and pharmacy a block away and Trattoria Monti and Da Danilo close by. The owner Alberto was great and very helpful, the location close to the train station and 30 minute easy walk to the collseum, room was clean and quiet. My only negative comment would be for a thicker mattress, there is a sump pump in the bathroom that makes a rumble sound when it gets full from the shower and toilet, it was not a problem for us but I'm not sure about other guest, over all it was a comfortable stay

"IKEA hotel"
We loved our time at Termini Gold. Alberto is reasonable, helpful and very trustworthy. The hotel is clean, updated and modern, and very nice. Seems to be in ikea style, which was comfortable and suitable. About a 15-20 minute walk to the Colosseum and Roman Forum, but I highly encourage use of the buses and trams. Great espresso machine, which was important for me, and much independence as Alberto is not there all the time. We would definitely stay there, again.

Although the room was nice, clean and affordable, the neighborhood was so bad, I couldn't recommend it. Maybe if you always walked to the right when leaving, it wasn't so awful, but to get to and from the train station it was terrible. Sorry, but people should be aware.

"Excellent stay in Rome"
My boyfriend and I stayed 3 nights at the B&B Gold Termini in Rome at the beginning of June. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would highly recommend the hotel to anyone visiting Rome! The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Wood flooring throughout, and comfortable beds and sheets. Our room was very large. There was a small kitchen where we received a light breakfast each morning (coffee, juice, sweet croissants, nutella, jams, and yogurt). The one downside to the room we booked is that we shared a bathroom with one other room (3 rooms total, only 1 with a private bathroom). The room with the bathroom was already booked during our stay, but it was only a small inconvenience to share a bathroom (it's like staying at your parents' house for a weekend). Alberto, the owner, was extremely friendly and happy to accommodate us. He gave us a lot of great tips about how to get around, things to watch out for, and recommendations on restaurants and gelato. The location is extremely close to Termini Station and about a 15 minute walk to the Colosseum. It's a bit longer walk to the downtown area (30-40 min) where the Trevi Fountain and shopping is, but we would have paid at least double what we paid for a hotel down there, and many of those hotels did not look as nice as B&B Gold Termini. Very pleased with our stay.

"The B & B inside could not have been better."
We loved the B & B on the inside: the clean, non- smoking air; Alberto was a fabulous host; privacy was excellent as were the kitchen and bathroom areas. Upon arrival the location and outside of the building made me nervous BUT it was close to the train station and relatively close to the Metro. After just a day we felt comfortable. We would definitely stay again, especially now that we know what to expect.

The owner, Alberto, is the nicest man in Italy. He runs a quality operation; his rooms are fresh, clean, safe, and updated. The breakfast is great quality and he has an expresso machine for coffee The location is near the central train terminal and within walking distance to all the sites in central Rome or if you prefer, the metro train is 5 minutes away. Alberto is a wealth of information and will provide a tourist map and all the information you need to maximize your time in Rome.

We selected this B&B based on location. Upon arrival Alberto informed us, that we had been moved to a different location several blocks away. We had no say in this matter. We were forced to sign a document that we could only take pictures but no publish them. When asked, Alberto used Facebook as an example. We have stayed at B&B's in many places in Italy and the U.S. And have never encountered such a thing, but we signed it. We like B&B's because of the personal interaction with the host(ess). This was lacking here. American style bread and cereal were places in plastic? We were on our own in the mornings. There was only one other room. We did not have the benefit of a host's recommendation for restaurants, but he was willing to recommend an excellent gelato place. On the second day, after expressing our concerns he left us a note stating that we could leave and he would refund our money. This was a trip planned far in advance, with stays at TerminiGold at both the beginning and end so the month. Our itinerary with contact information was given to everyone in advance. We didn't, want to waste time in Rome searching for another place to stay and without anyone being able to contact us in an emergency. We chose to stay and requested the same room for our return. Much unpleasantness could have been avoided if we had been informed that we were going to be changed to another location prior to arrival at the facility we booked.

"Wished We Could Have Stayed Longer"
The B&B is perfect. The rooms are very clean, spacious, and cute. I was as very pleased with how clean everything was. The kitchen is cozy, but very tidy. You're provided with access to the fridge if you need it, you own pantry like space and there is a crafty coffee machine. Bathroom has a good size shower and the water pressure is good too.You can walk to the Coliseum in 15 min. You have the world famous best Gelato in the entire world, Fassi, 5 mins away and (facing outside the front of B&B) there is a fun bar to the right of the B&B and multiple places to eat to the left (we liked the place on the left coner closest to the B&B). Mr. Alberto is very nice and provides you with a great map of the city, bus information and has really great suggestions about what to see. We hope to stay here again.

"Great Value....."
The walk to the b&b is a bit rough just because of the very uneven pavement, but it's close enough. The location is great as long as you take advantage of the metro which is close by. Restaurants just a few doors down are convenient. We found the SECOND restaurant from the corner was excellent...enough to eat there twice. Reasonable price and EXCELLENT food. Wine was a little pricey. There is a full market close by, as well as Fossi Gelato...FANTASTIC values there!!!! The room was good size, spotless, and quiet. Breakfast was simple (no meats) but plentiful and more than adequate. Use of the fridge is a much appreciated bonus (so you could get your own breakfast meat and cheese if you wanted to. Alberto was always in a bit of a hurry, but very helpful, indeed. He's got it down to a science, so if you don't need too much baby-sitting, it's perfect.

"Decent stay"
When we arrived in Rome we walked from the train station. It's a longer walk than it seems, made more difficult by the uneven ground. By the time we got there we were sweating. When we arrived we got a confusing explanation about how we'll need to stay at his other place, a 5 min walk away. We were tired but ok no big deal. He helped us with our luggage and pointed out some good restaurants and a market on the way. When we arrived, the room we were staying in was cute but VERY small. Not like the room in the pictures. The couple that shared the apartment said they also were expecting to stay in the other building. The kitchen was functional- but know that you can't use it to cook. He had little shelves with our names on it with bread and croissants. There was cereal, yogurt, milk and orange juice. The location was a block and a half from the metro, which nice. All in all, the b&b was what we needed it to be. It was small, but clean and cute. Nothing fancy. The owner was a bit short with when we arrived, which caught me off guard. Also- not specific to this b&b, hotels.com must have a policy where your card gets charged (even if you pay with cash). It eventually got returned.

We actually stayed at Termini Platinum (had booked Termini Gold but Alberto, the proprietor of both, had an availability at the Platinum, so we took that one instead). The B&B is spotless, modern and conveniently near a Metro station. Alberto gave us info on getting around Rome, which was very helpful. Breakfast foods provided were yogurt, juice, coffee, tea, croissants, bread for toasting, cookies, cereal and milk. The neighborhood is quiet and we walked from the Metro after 10 pm without hesitation. Five stars!

Alberto is the consummate host. He greeted us outside of his main B&B then walked us over to our place, several blocks away. We had a nice chat in the breakfast nook/kitchen area during which time he explained the breakfast routine and gave us tips about the city. Our room was very large, spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. I highly recommend Termini Gold. Conveniently located about a 15 minute walk from Termini station. The street name changes a couple of blocks from the station, so finding the property can be a little challenging. I usually use Manzoni metro station to travel anywhere in Rome. Surrounding B&B is quiet area and safe. Upon our 1300 arrival there was a note on the door asking us to call and wait ten minutes to have the door opened and our checkin to begin. We do not carry a cellphone. After flagging down a passerby the call was made. Be aware this is a hotel type setup without any desk clerk or owner on premise. Otherwise the location was good, the area not inviting but not intimidating. The continental breakfast very basic although the owners wife did make a nice morning cake.
