This is a great little hotel, but what everyone should know is there aren't really any hotels on airport property. They all require a bus ride. But the most important realization is that Terminal 5 is in the middle of nowhere and a long way from any other terminal. Therefore the Premier Inn is not onside. The next thing to know is the 423 bus is a FREE ride to and from Terminal 5. You don't need to pay for the overpriced H shuttles. Just hop on and pay attention to your stop. From Heathrow the Premier in will appear on the left once you're on Bay Road. Watch for the White Horse Pub as your marker that you're getting close. Great staff to help you with local transport and tell you where to find things like UK mobile phones.

Having read the description and seen the pictures, I was expecting a really nicely presented, modern, newly furnished hotel. But this was more of a typical pub hotel, with outdated decor and basic furnishings & facilities. It was in a great location in the centre of town. The room was clean and had all the basics, but no iron or board as stated in the […] room description. However, the bed was very uncomfortable and the walls were paper thin, that I could hear next door neighbours quiet conversation. The breakfast was cheap and cheerful - no menu, just a waitress who expected me to know what was available! Although the hotel was clean and comfortable the staff (or at least one of them:who served breakfast) left a lot to be desired. She was rude to the guests and very abrupt.It put me off what I had considered a nice hotel.The surroundings of the hotel were unfortunately not so nice.
