I called the hotel when I made the reservation and they informed me that the previous wifi problem had been solved. When I arrived, the in room wifi could connect but was so slow that it was unusable. The manager said that the wifi had been upgraded and worked well on his phone. But, the wfi access stopped from the room and was even slow in the lobby. One day the wifi did not work anywhere but I suspect they were upgrading the system. During the last 24 hours, the wifi was OK in the lobby but still unacceptable in the room. For two days we had to go to McDonalds in Banff to access the Internet. I trade stocks and there is daily maintenance of the account if one wants to succeed. But, the staff were so nice. I could tell that they were empathetic but the solution was out of their hands. The walls are thin. The parking lot was flooded.

"Great place close to Banff w/out as much tourism"
Great condo with nice amenities. Didn't use pool or fitness areas-no time because of all other attractions. Low internet signal in our condo, but dedicated modem installed next day to fix problem. Informative, helpful staff. Very clean rooms. Enjoyed the fireplace. Will stay here again.

We were extremely happy with the discounted price. The resort upgraded us to a 2 bedroom suite with fireplace, bbq, balcony, and lots of room to move around. The only minus for us was the master bed was extremely soft and we woke up with sore backs. I was expecting a hotel room, but was pleased to find that this was a condo complex. Great underground, secure parking. Very nicely appointed suites...giant shower!!! I'm not sure that I would call Stoneridge Mountain a resort, but it was a wonderful experience. Every aspect of our stay was exceptional - the size, amenities and comfort of our room (which was more like a big apartment). It was clean, well maintained and even featured an i Pod stereo. We had a full kitchen and a gas grill on the patio, which was important […] as the cost of eating out in the Banff/Canmore area is very expensive. The kids loved the heated pool and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. "Perfect retreat in the mountains!"
This place is amazing!! Right outside Banff NP. You wouldn't know it, but Canmore is an amazing destination in and of itself. Great hiking, outdoor activities, restaurants and shops. This hotel is only 8 months old and the rooms make you feel as comfortable as you would in your own home, maybe even a little nicer. HIGHLY Recommend! Only note, bring […] your own blow dryer. It must be one of the nicest places i have stayed.. it was clean and very comfy.. Close to town and close to the highway. Very easy to find and the staff were very good with the surrounding area and i would certainly stay there again

We just completed a 17 day trip to a number of national parks in Canada and the US. This was by far the best accommodation of the trip and probably one of the 5 best places we have ever stayed. Very comfortable bed. Amazing real kitchen with pots, pans and utensils that one could actually use to cook, not the standard low-grade time-share stuff. Layout […] was fantastic. My wife really liked the oversize tub, in fact we are probably going to buy one for our house. I liked the oversize shower. In the evening we would sit by the fireplace in the comfortable furniture and they even provided a throw to cuddle under. My only comment is that the TV which was wide-screen and HD compatible was not getting an HD feed and I did watch "the game" a little fuzzy. Every hotel on the trip, no matter how much we paid for the room had wide-screen TV,s but no HD. I guess fuzz-ball TV (480p) must be a national standard for hotels. Read more

Beautifully appointed room, very clean, all the amenities you could need if staying in an area and wishing a home base. Brand new stainless steel appliances and necessary utensils for meal prep. Comfortable bed, large bathroom. Fireplace in living room and gas bar-b-q on deck. Unfortuneatly we were only booked in for one night.

"The Stoneridge - 5 out of 5"
I came here for 3 days with my significant other. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, with a lovely view of the 3 Sisters mountain range. I could not believe how much we got for so little money! The kitchen was beautiful, with all the appliances we needed to cook a nice meal. I would definitely come back to this hotel in the future.

As nice as it gets. Not all room have good views. Try to check in early and ask for a 4th floor rooms for the windows in 4th floor units are much bigger making the view and room much nicer. No TV in Bedroom/ Everything else is first class new and clean.

still so new there's building dust. Very nice staff- there's a little bit of a learning curve going on with the staff and housekeeping. If you want to cook and spend time in the room there is lots of space.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay. Property appears to be newly redecorated and our unit was in pristine condition. Lots of natural light and a beautiful mountain view. Even after seeing pictures and reading reviews, the Stoneridge Mountain Resort far exceeded my expectations. It was so clean and maintained so well that it was like we were the first ones to ever stay there. The king bed was very comfortable and there were many pillows, all were of different thicknesses and densities so we both were able to find the […] perfect one to sleep on. The bathroom was spectactular! We could both get ready in the mornings without bumping in to each other. If we would have remembered that there was a dvd player in the living room we would have brought some shows from home, but we did find a place in town that rents movies/tv shows. "Condo convenience"
One of several large condo complexes on the Bow Valley Trial, StoneRidge has all the conveniences, plus the luxury of a pool and hot tub in an inner courtyard, but lacks mountain ambiance (unless your room has a view other than the windows of your neighbours). The service is very friendly and helpful, and the off-season rates reasonable.

Beautiful location, friendly helpful staff (not as easy to find and as common as you may think), perfectly clean. Not one complaint. Will stay here everytime we go skiing. We had 8 people staying in 3 rooms. Everyone was happy, loved the heated outdoor pool and the hottub, they were quite busy but it is ski season. Our stay was very comfortable at Stoneridge, although our son said the pull-out sofa bed was a little uncomfortable. That being said, our king size bed was very comfortable! Everything else such as service, cleanliness, amenities, etc. was excellent. I highly recommend this place!
"Beautiful weekend getaway"
We were looking for a nice romantic night getaway, to celebrate a birthday, and just get away from the city. Sometimes Banff can be a bit pricey for rooms so we looked in to Canmore. We were able to check in early and head to Banff for a stroll and went tubing at Norquay (highly recommend this activity). We also took full advantage of our in suite kitchen […] and that each unit has a bbq. The outdoor hot tub and pool were also a nice treat after our outdoor activities. I highly recommend this resort. as for a mountain view....you are surrounded by mountains what the point on staying in your room and looking at them when you could be outside truly enjoying them! It was a lovely facility. Only complaint was we were on the second floor and had a family with children above us who were up and running VERY early. Sound proofing was not so hot. Staff very friendly.

"An easy recommendation"
Stoneridge is a spacious and well-designed serviced condominium complex just off the main highway in Canmore which is an agreeable and well-served town. It is convenient for the national park and ski areas but a bit of a trek to Lake Louise and main centres and lacks the charm of Banff ,say, but the size and price of available accommodation is generally […] better as a consequence. Stoneridge itself is very good and service,amenities ,parking at even the busiest time of year, and staff are also very good. There is no restaurant or bar although that is of limited concern given amenities available in Canmore and the self -sufficient nature of the accommodation.Our room, a single suite with den, was enormous and very comfortable. Fittings and furnishings are of middling to good quality and a bit tired in some cases through use although more than adequate and perfectly acceptable for a holiday. My only gripe would be that portion control and utensils are clearly regarded as a precise science and taken to extreme degrees in terms of limitation. There was only one set of crockery and cutlery for four people for example which mean't that apart from the last day when we were required to we could not have filled or made use of the dish-washer if we had even wanted to, which seems pointless. In France for example rented accommodation of this type would require an an additional full set of cutlery and crockery to be supplied for precisely this reason if a dish washer was also supplied. Cooking utensils were similarly limited which apart from restricting full use of the available culinary facilities mean't that it was difficult to use the cooker and microwave without creating a mess (for someone else to have to clean) due to the lack of covered cooking containers or spare crockery even if care was taken which again seems pointless and counter-productive. So a very nice place and easy to recommend as quality and service are very good and pricing is competitive. It is just a pity Read more

Our experience there was great. Hotel was clean and staff were excellent. Our suit was massive and very modern. My only complaint is that the noise levels coming from above us (minor) and from the hallways (was quite noisy). This could be solved with better doors or better seals around doors. We loved our stay. The hotel is modern, cozy and pleasant. We asked for a mountain facing room, and payed a small charge for the upgrade. It was beautiful (though a little noisy from the road).
