Titanic Port Bakirkoy - Istanbul

Close to the airport (about a ten minute, twenty Turkish lira fare) and next to a shopping center with restaurants. Only problem I had was with heat setting in the room. I wanted some air circulation in the room but it became too hot. Otherwise, room was good quality, comfortable bed, and well designed bathroom.

My wife and I recently stayed at Titanic twice during layovers at the nearby airport. We chose the hotel based on it's proximity to the airport and the free shuttle. The rooms felt like new and are well maintained, clean and comfortable. Overall it is a Great hotel. Location was super because of the adjacent mall. Lower level floors might be noisy but we were on the 7thfloor and did not hear anything. Pool and the whole spa area was also fantastic.

You can eat at the breakfast buffet available at the a cafe around the corner for much cheaper and it's better than what the hotel provides. Room is clean. Everyone was helpful. The Titanic Port Hotel is overall a fairly nice hotel - though I would not give it four stars. The hotel rooms were clean the facilities were nice. There were issues with services provided by the hotel - ranging from such simple things as getting something to eat - to inaccurate timings for their spa services. The location is between Sulthanamet and […] the airport - and the hotel advertises the ease of getting around - but could not give me directions to the train to get into Sulthanamet. Dinner the first night was a challenge. After being sent from one restaurant to another I ended up in the Coffee Shop - where I waited a half hour before anyone decided to acknowledge my presence and to take an order. Low end food - not that good. The next day was just as much of a challenge, though I never did get served in the Coffee Shop - so I just left the hotel early. The hair cuttery was to open at 830 which would be perfect if one was planning a day out. However at 910 it still wasn't open - and at 930 I was invited in where they proceeded to clean - leaving me sitting until almost 1000. When I walked out they came and got me - the hair cut was good but the morning was almost over by the time I had finished. So - if you've things to do in the area - and don't have to depend on a hotel to eat, or provide services this is an OK hotel. If though, you're expecting 4 star service it's not there. Read more

It was a nice hotel, but the internet speed is very bad needs improvement, the gym should be better equipped there were missing dumbells, swimming should be more easily to access and had to pay for swimming hats even though we were staying at the hotel ,very noisy area.

The staff were incredibly helpful and very polite and courteous. They helped to lift my heavy battery powered wheelchair in and out of several taxis. Breakfasts were superb - with a wide range of sweet and savoury, hot and cold breakfast self service options. Staff were always on hand to help. Stayed here for one night after 2 weeks in Turkey. Handy for the airport and not stuck in the middle of nowhere. We tried to contact the hotel twice by email to organise the shuttle, but no reply. Had to get a shuttle from the airport, which cost 50euros! The room was fine, bathroom very small though. We ate at the restaurant on the top floor and […] sat outside on the balcony area. The waiting staff were excellent. We had a great waiter (tall man - sorry, didn't get his name) - he was so helpful. I can't eat onions and garlic and he went to a lot of trouble to get my meal sorted. The food was very good and the chef did an excellent job. Breakfast was very good, lots of choice and good service - couldn't fault it. We could fault the front desk though - my request for a soft pillow just did not happen - at 11pm, I gave up waiting. We had booked a shuttle for 11.30 the next morning - but when we got to Reception at 11.20, there was no shuttle. We waited for 20 minutes and the shuttle arrived back from the airport. The guy who took our luggage downstairs was really helpful and worked hard to sort it out - we got to the airport due to him and the driver of the shuttle. The front desk had obviously not checked the booking and had let the shuttle go without us in the first instance. This is the weak part of the hotel, the rest (that we experienced) was very good. I had only an overnight stay in Istanbul and had not stayed here before, but they welcomed me by name when I arrived at almost midnight after a late flight, and there was a beautiful fruit plate in my room. Breakfast the next day was a feast - no other word for such bounty and variety - and then I sat out on the veranda and drank cappucino in the sun […] while I worked. Most pleasant indeed. There is a huge shopping centre immediately beside the hotel, and I spent an hour or so in there stocking up on a few clothing essentials for my next trip, before getting the hotel shuttle to the airport. I enjoyed my stay and would definitely stay there again, hopefully this time with some time to explore the surrounding neigbhourhood, which seemed full of small coffee shops and restaurants and park land. I needed a place to stay overnight after a late afternoon arrival to Ataturk airport followed by an earlier morning trip back to the airport the next day. I needed someplace clean, quiet and with good service to give me some recuperation time and this hotel fit the bill. On the other hand, it wasn't that far (15 minutes in rush hour traffic), and I was able to walk around the neighbourhood for some exercise. I could not find any shuttle from the airport to this hotel and ended up taking a taxi. However, the staff at the front desk helpfully arranged a courtesy shuttle (free) to the airport the next day.
