"Big place, not a big price!"
Six of my friends and I wanted an inexpensive place to stay for our annual pal getaway. This lakeside place was just the thing. No frills, but clean and convenient. It had a full kitchen, dining room, livingroom and four bedrooms. We had a beautiful view of the lake from our porch and within walking distance to Weirs Beach boardwalk. I would recommend […] this to others. The staff was friendly and helpful. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Amazing Location for Bike Week"
This "apartment" is a 30 second walk to the main strip at bike week, and has an amazing view of the lake, right from the front door (or from the balcony, depending on which room you have). The staff was very nice, the room was clean, and beds were comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

This year we stayed in their largest rental A7, 4 bedroom, great view, and very comfortable. It was our second time here and its in the perfect spot right off Weirs beach. The ice fishing is awesome a short walk down the road and your in a prime spot for lake trout and Rainbows. We got a nice 22 inch Laker. Its fully furnished all appliances including a dishwasher and my fav's coffee maker and big Iron skillet. Best eggs ever!Everyone that works there is super nice. We will be back next year!!!

We stayed in the 2-bed apartment with friends. The check-in at the Lazy E Motor Inn went smoothly. An employee actually brought us to the apartment which was a little difficult to find. The first impression was not good. The carpet in the hallway was badly stained and the light very dim. It was hard to see the steep stairs which led to the 2nd floor. The apartment has two reasonably sized bedrooms. We had only a few hooks in the closet and no hangers. Apart from the queen size bed there was a chest of drawers and a broken chair in the room. Our friends had 1 single and 1 double bed and also a chest of drawers. Their bedroom had a small balcony. The bathtub and kitchen were fairly clean but the oven was greasy. That was cleaned the next day. The kitchen was alright but the microwave on top of the refrigerator was hard to operate. There were chipped glasses and the rug under the dining table was stained and so were the chairs. The bathroom was very small. The dining room table had enough space for 4 but the fold down bed that acted as a sofa was uncomfortable. We were out most of the time so we didn’t really care too much about the seating comfort. Outside stood 2 grills but both were very dirty. The WiFi connection only worked for a few hours on the first night then we were completely without for 2 days. We phoned the office twice but nothing was done about it. The location is nice but at the beginning of October many restaurants and shops were already closed. We thought the apartment was overprized for what it was and for the time of the year. We would not book it again.

My husband and I, along with another couple, stayed here for the weekend. We stayed in a "newly renovated" room on the second floor, toward the water. The apartment had two bedrooms, a small kitchenette, bathroom and living/dining room. The bedrooms and living room had A/C. The furnishings and decor are outdated, so I was surprised that they considered this newly renovated. It was very clean however and worked fine for us. There is a porch that is shared with the rest of the building. The shower is a bit small, but overall, everything else was sufficient. It's a short walk to the boardwalk and the apartment has great lake views. If you are expecting luxury, look elsewhere. If you are looking for a good deal, this is it!
"Perfect for our family"

We found this place online planning our vacation at Weirs beach, the outside of this place does not look to appealing but they are working on it, the location is great with a view of the lake right down the street and a small beach you can swim at kind of rocky there though. The room we got was A3 and the place was redone beautifully you could still smell the new paint smell but not strong. It's a two bedroom unit one room has a queen bed and the other 2 twins which was great for the kids. In the living area they have a table for four a trundle day bed with two chairs and a flat screen tv. The kitchen was great all the appliances you would need with a full refrigerator, the bathroom was kind of small there is only a shower and it is very tight. There is a housekeeper who replaces towels and takes the trash out and that's it you wash your own dishes and make your own bed here. Also the walls are thin, you can hear the people above you walking or running around. Overall I loved staying here with my family and would come back again.
"Cool place to stay"

This was a neat little spot to stay for a few days. It is right up the street from Lake Winnipesaukee on a small dead end street. The room we stayed in was a 2 bedroom apartment style unit. It was very clean and updated. There were hardwood floors throughout the unit and a full kitchen. The bathroom was a little small, and the shower was very small (so small that it was hard to shower). The beds were very comfortable and I slept great, which is unusual when I stay at hotels. Our unit had a nice little porch with a couple of chairs and we could see the lake from it. The hotel is only about a 2 min walk from downtown Weirs Beach. Great value and I would stay here again.
"Don't judge a hotel by its exterior"
Gorgeous view, right on the pier, plenty of parking, run down on the outside, but the inside is gorgeously renovated. Great deal in April! We stayed in the 1br apartment style unit, 7 Baker Street, #2A. Only problem is not all the restaurants were open yet, but there were plenty of choices a few miles away in Meredith. Shower was small, but storage was plentiful.
"Best family getaway in a whil"

We stayed at the lake side getaway this past weekend for the Meredith ice fishing derby. The place was great Friday and Saturday we had blizzard conditions . I'm a die hard fisherman and was worried the fam would be bored in the rental . They weren't me and my 8 year old fished all day sat and sun and true wife and my twelve year old were so comfortable they didn't bother us once . Also the owner was there checking on everyone and plowing and shoveling all through the night. . Great price , 5 star accomadtions. Thanks jeremy and Gina Furtado

We stumbled upon this little place when my husband was going to be in the area for business and the family was joining him on the trip. This was one of the places his employer had on a list for travel, and we chose it because of its close proximity to town, as we were without a car for most of the day while he was gone. What a great decision that was! First, let me say that I grew up visiting New Hampshire and I really enjoy the architecture of New England and the older homes and buildings. Lakeside did not disappoint! First, we had to go to the Lazy E cottages to check in & get our keys, but it's only about a 5 minute drive away. The owner/manager is extremely friendly and welcoming. There is no parking directly in front of Lakeside, since it is on a narrow residential street. There is a 15 minute limit on parking for loading/unloading for the hotel. There are assigned parking spots about 3 houses away beside a restaurant for parking. The building is turn-of-the century, two story all apartment-style accommodations. We chose A-6 for the two bedroom setup with a view of the lake. Upon arrival, to get to the second floor, you enter a common hallway with a few ironing boards and irons and some VHS tapes for guests to borrow. Up the narrow, somewhat steep stairs to the second floor, you re-exit onto the long, slightly sloping front porch, and access your room from the outside. There are two chairs on the porch and a small table next to each door, also a recycling bin for bottles, etc. that is emptied almost daily. Inside, there is a small kitchenette with a window, full size refrigerator/freezer and electric stove, small microwave over the sink, dishes, glasses, dish soap and towels, sponges, dish drainer, coffee pot with filters, paper towels, a few utensils, pots and pans. The living area has 2 windows, one with an a/c unit, table with 5 chairs, a tv on a wall bracket in the corner above the table, and a daybed/trundle bed, coffee table, and chair. The bedrooms are suprisingly large, each with double/queen bed, dresser, and good sized closet. The master bedroom has another tv and a window a/c unit. The bedroom with the lake view had two windows. The bathroom was tiny, with a small tub/shower, small sink with cabinet below, a mirror with a shelf, and a toilet with towel rack above it. This is a one-person bathroom; the door hits the toilet when opened, so you must close it to get to the toilet. The flooring is brand new wood throughout, except for the bath and kitchen, which was tile. Everything is renovated, but keeps the New England charm. Is it the Ritz? No. But it is clean, neat, and a great quiet place to stay near a very busy tourist attraction. Every day we walked to the boardwalk (about a quarter to a half mile?) and enjoyed the mailboat ride, the train ride, the arcades, the water park, and Weirs Beach. Since you have to pay to park everywhere, this saved us lots of money! An added bonus was the daily towel service. And the price couldn't be beat! For about the same cost as a motel room, we had more living space, plus a kitchen...we saved money eating breakfast and lunch there instead of at a restaurant. Just a couple of items worth noting...having wifi access was great, however at times seemed weak and we got a better signal moving down the front porch toward the end of the building furthest from the lake. The sun is very bright in the morning, especially in the bedroom with 2 windows. If you want to sleep in, I recommend bringing a sleep mask, as the curtains don't block much light. The refrigerator froze our milk and water; we tried to adjust the temp. and move items to different parts of the interior, but no luck. Check your liquids an hour before you need them, you may need to set them on the counter to thaw! Finally, this is NOT a complaint, only for people to be aware...this accomodation, especially the upstairs, is not handicapped friendly. There are stairs to enter, the stairs are narrow, and the bathrooms are very small. This is an old building, so do not expect accessibility if you have special requirements. Also, there is a very small "beach" at the bottom of the road where you are allowed to swim, but we went to the large public beach instead. We had a wonderful time in Weirs Beach and hope to come back!
"Great location at Weirs Beach"

The 2 bedroom apartment gave our family ample living space with opportunity to prepare meals or do take out for a number of meals. Having daily towel service included in the reasonable rental price was a bonus. It was well located for walking to many attractions- beach, train ride, ship cruise, mini golf, drive in theater, activities for children, shops and eating establishments. Its location was also great for short day trips to mountains, places of interest along Lake Winnipesaukee, and other lakes in the Lakes Region. We would stay there again.
"Grand view of the lake"
10/22/10 Sulfurcreek Hayward, California
This location is worth the extra step of having to check in first at another location and having to haul your luggage up narrow and steep stairs to get to these very cozy apartments. These units all contained in an old building are fully furnished and have complete kitchens and while the outside of the building is being redone the units themselves have been very nicely renovated. This is not a five star resort; but rather a very cozy and pleasant place to experience the Lake Country of NH.
